An enchanting villa, rich in history and expertly restored frescoes. Amazing staff. A lot of professionalism and kindness. Small spa but with everything you need. Appreciated the hot tub with water enriched with raspberry salts. Dinner in orangeries to try! Unforgettable experience.

Lovely place a few kilometers from the center, very clean pool, if you are looking for some relaxation it is the right place.
Great food, carefully prepared dishes and used fresh products.
Always available staff who pamper the guest for every need.

The villa is beautiful and has many large outdoor spaces, both for eating and relaxing; extremely friendly and helpful staff; very nice quiet and clean rooms… and last but not least, you also eat very well!

A smiling welcome and competent, which made an effort to speak French. The rooms are nice and quiet which is great especially after a day in Venice. The breakfast is classic for this type of hotel with always smiling personnel. The dinner is a little expensive which explains the little world in the evening at dinner. Especially if like us you stay for a short week. We recommend this hotel.

Stayed here before and enjoyed it. This time, apart from the pool we didn’t enjoy much. Food and service was seriously disappointing, both breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ran out of the basics like Coca Cola, straws for drinks and so. The worst was “Sorry ran out 2 days ago”. While relaxing at the pool they started to cut the grass so we could no talk to each other and had to leave the pool area. I have recommended this place to others before, but no more.

We simply had a fantastic experience here. The Villa itself is beautiful, elegant and covered with art in every corner, walking around is already a pleasure. It has a very big green garden, with a nice pool to relax during the hot days. There's also a small gym, enough for the holidays. The staff is very helpful and professional. It is located close enough to Venice and they provide a free taxi service, perfect place to stay and discover the places around. The food was always amazing good, from breakfast to dinner, I totally recommend to join the BBQ, the meat was really the best you can have. Good selection of wines and liqueurs as well. Summarizing: worth every penny and adding value to your vacation!

Rooms are great, complimentary breakfast was first class, staff was pleasant, helpful, and extremely polite. The hotel itself was gorgeous. Set back in a quaint neighborhood away from the noise, but still close to public transportation. Highly recommend this place.

What a nice place full of tranquility and serenity. We enjoyed our stay after a hectic week in Venice to the fullest. The house is small, but is has been renovated and restyled with so much love and attention to detail. For Italy the breakfast offers a great variety of different foods: eggs, pancakes, sausages, freshly sliced fruits, joghurt and different sorts of cereal. We loved our stay in April.

Staff were amazing, very helpful and so kind! Food in the restaurant was beautiful, and the rooms were very comfy and beautifully decorated! I'd love to visit in the summer, as the winter has a different vibe!

Very well-maintained and elegant class Location, attention for every detail from the reception to the outdoor spaces. Cleanliness and services at the top. Breakfast varies both sweet and salty, with bread and small pastry baked hot in the morning. I recommend it and in doing so… I meditate to go back.

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Top notch. Amazing staff. And was very helpful prior to our stay (with my million questions), as well as during our stay. The staff picked us up from the train station & arranged our return car to the airport early in the am. The bus stop is a five minute walk — €3 roundtrip. We decided to take the bus into Venice, but take a taxi back (ranges from €27-31). The hotel itself is beautiful — clean with a mix of traditional and modern. Definitely the best place to stay in or around Venice. We were nervous about staying so far outside the city, but after watching everyone drag their bags in search of their hotel down streets and all the bridges, we knew we chose correctly. We did purchase the breakfast a great for the value. Should we ever return to Venice, this is our go to spot! You won’t regret a stay here!

This 16th century mansion turned hotel was absolutely stunning. The rooms were spacious and clean and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. We did go to the spa which was very nice, they have a single masseuse as well as access to a sauna and steam room. The restaurant was upstairs in a beautifully painted room and the food was wonderful. We were surprised with an extra appetizer by the chef — which was delicious. The menu had many fresh seafood and pasta options along with many others. This is the same area that the buffet breakfast is located in and the breakfast was also perfect — eggs, bacon, hash browns, pastries, and more, along with a fairly wide variety of gluten free options. Overall 5 stars. I would definitely go back.

Luxurious, spacious Hotel within 15min walk of Mestre Ospendale train station. Large pleasant grounds with outdoor swimming pool. Lot's of lounging areas on all floors. Excellent restaurant if you fancy spoiling yourself. Good bus access to Mestre and Venice (€1.50 ticket)

Superb in every way. A little far from the main Venice but worth staying for some duration of the trip. Would go back to Venice just to stay here again. A real slice of paradise. Service is excellent, staff are warm, helpful and friendly and rooms are luxurious.

Great place to stay! It is not cheap, but you do get your money's worth. Great rooms, no noise at all, nice staff, good breakfast, nice garden, plenty of spaces to sit, a swimming pool, a small spa etc. They have four (mountain) bikes which are free to use which is nice if you want to see some of the surrounding or go the the local mall. Really the only annoyance is that the swimming pool is very cold. Even with hot August weather you have to get out in 15 minutes to warm up. The trip to Venice takes about 45 minutes and is easy, cheap and quite frequent. We only went there for one full day, but for tourists wanting to visit Venice for parts of multiple days or go back to the hotel in the afternoon it is not that conveniently located. However if you only go to Venice for 1 or 2 days the trip time is certainly worth it.

Enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this beautiful property and location. Convenient to Venice, Treviso and Padua, the hotel is set on its own large site and close to amenities and public transport. Would certainly recommend.

My husband and I loved this hotel! It is beautiful and the staff was very accommodating! We took a train in to Mestre and that is the one thing we would change about our experience. The train station was very dirty and we were told dangerous for pick pocketers. Next time we would take the train into Venice! The hotel shuttle picked us up at the train station, which was very easy to arrange. After that we just took a taxi into Venice for 30 a trip which the staff called for us but there is a bus close for 1.50. We ate once at the restaurant and it was top notch! We also love the spa and even got massages! We loved our time here and hope to come back! Met all expectations and more!

Fantastic location, easy trip to Venice. The spa was quite small though, and lacked a pool and a jacuzzi. (They only had an outdoor pool. )

The best place to stay in or around Venice. The hotel is beautiful, very peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway with Venice only 20 mins away (3 euros return pp) The restaurant is amazing… fine dining standard. Lovely pool and the rooms are unique, traditonal yet very clean and modern at the same time. Staff are all fantatsic and we can't wait to return here in the future.

Beautiful hotel, such welcoming staff. They were very helpful in telling me how to get into the Venice. Pick up from the airport was only 20 euro extra. And breakfast was good too,

Stayed in this lovely elegant hotel while on a driving holiday round Italy. For us we had to stay some way from the main Venice attractions to find a nice hotel with parking. It is a half hour bus/tram journey away which is not ideal but is also compensated for by the quality of accommodation at the price.

For us this Villa, like a bad dream. Never, under any circumstances, I do not recommend the Villa Barbarich. Let me explain why. This neglect, this is not a conceivable robbery we could not imagine even in the nightmare. On site, in sight all night shatters the glass in the car, turn all things, all purchases, up is down, stealing all the valuables and even children's gifts in the form of chocolate and sweets! How can this be explained?! As the hotel staff could not notice what is happening?! It all happened on a private property of this Villa. The staff did not even bother to apologize, not to mention something more. Their forced smiles and the hypocrisy was off the charts. Even the police did not come. Here, actually, and all the rest. That such things are happening at Villa Barbarich. We ran out in the truest sense of the word, so as to be there it was not possible. If the administration is not responsible for our belongings left in the car at the Villa, whether they are for things left in the rooms? We feared for and just for items left in the room and generally for the security of our being there. It is not known what the perpetrators were thinking and what we can expect to have. I do not recommend this place. Villa Barbarich, very sketchy, dangerous place! Do not risk, God forbid you to be in our situation, our vacation was completely ruined.

A wonderful villa with gorgeous room. Frescoes everywhere, delicious restaurant, great breakfast. Free parking and Wi-Fi. Piano in the bar area and fireplace. Spa available for guests until 22:00

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and arrived back in Finland last night. We had high expectations for this place but we got even more: Fantastic room, all the staff were kind, helpful and multilingual. The breakfast was more than perfect. And so was the hotel! There are no words to tell and describe what we felt. Perfect place for a peaceful vacation. We spent both of our birthdays and our 25th wedding anniversary with my husband there aswell. Hotel Villa Barbarich is a piece of Heaven on Earth!

I've been to a business meeting at this beautiful renovated villa just a few kilometres from Venice, I stayed, but I was able to appreciate the great work done by the restructuring. Dinner was great, service, the Hall is an example of how the nobles of yesteryear you should surround with beautiful things. Recommended.
