Yesterday evening we have dinner with other friends. Very happy to spend some time in this beautiful place, renovated in a fascinating way! Upon arrival, we remain slightly stupid from a strange and cold reception, while this was a little after seven and a half, we are denied the opportunity to do a short aperitif enjoying the view of the valley from the stunning glass cantilevered… We are instead channeled to the table by the waiters who hurried, tell us who should start the service! Instantly connect this thought to that of the pressure service I received at the time of booking in order to convince us to take the fixed menu. Not nice. Seated at the table, we start to wait for the starters… which proved to be only one (good) instead of the various announced. We go to the first one: an unlikely soup of black cabbage with cannellini beans means raw, and the pieces of bread rammolliti from the water that it is not easy to call stock! To follow: the noodles of buckwheat, proved well-seasoned and at the height of our predictions. We come to the second, and with this we slip on a stew-style goulash meat woody and tough accompanied by a piece of cauliflower au gratin that seemed to be prepared for days and days had past cooking! How sweet: faux cappuccino with a custard cold, just pulled out of the freezer in order to be better preserved! At this point we raise small on the famous sofas… and immediately we get asked to pay right away because the waiters have to get off, even though there are still at least three-quarters of an hour at the penultimate cable car! 50 euros badly spent! In a place that has these premises and claims we had expected! Despite this, between the beautiful view and friends cute we spent a pleasant evening laughing and between us we have these old champolucchesi: how it was better than the polenta of the Nina!
