The Hotel is Gorgeous… the location is Ideal… the service is AMAZING. WE HAD THE SWEETEST woman check us in and the cute part of the story is… we were lost because our GPS has us down the block lol, we called the hotel and she answered and came outside looking for us to guide us to the front door… who does such a sweet thing like that? Julia does that :). She made our stay MEMORABLE😇🇮🇹🍾🏰🎉🍷👨‍🍳🍝💶🎊🇪🇺🇮🇹

Fantastic, location right in the centre of Bologna. A true testament to old fashion elegance, a seemingly forgotten style. Construction was completed in 1491, the hotel has been in operation since 1912. The place has a stunningly beautiful interior, grand sweeping staircase, lit by glistening chandeliers, beautiful Roman era paintings, shined to perfection marble floors, the attention to detail perfection.
The Breakfast banquet… so much choice, and impeccable service. Service is where this place completely exceeds any other hotel. Even the hotel bartenders will make your reservations, and attend to any needs you may have. On the lower ground floor can be found the ruins of an old roman road, with photos of the discovery on the wall. In the elegant lounge we browsed the many photos of the Famous, Film Stars, Musicians & Royalty, inc Princess Diana, who have stayed there. All in all, a fabulous hotel. One of the Leading Hotels of the World, & rightly so.

The hotel has the most luxurious rooms and suites in the city thanks to its wonderful curtains, fabrics, original eighteenth-century paintings, finely polished marbles and mosaics. Impeccable service and the latest technology are in line with the aristocratic sense that the hotel exudes. The restaurant "I Carracci" comes to life in a magnificent 15th century hall annexed to the hotel at the beginning of the twentieth century.
The prestige of the original frescoes of the school of the Carracci brothers combines a refined cuisine linked to the wine of the Territory.
The suite imposes and exhibits refined luxury, special attention, exquisite details, 24 h service. It will always be a pleasure to return.

Located in the center I found it difficult to reach him in the car… but it was worth the staff very nice and excellent cuisine to return certainly.

Found this hotel on Google. Top location to old city and best historical sites. Had a very nice suite and it was noiseless. Best of all was the friendly and great staff. They made us feel like their best customers. Would absolutely return and heartily recommend.

It's a five-star… Attention to detail, the customer always in the center. The very old structure is ideal for a romantic and elegant stay. I have been there for a business meeting and I have to say everything went perfectly. The restaurant is fine dining at absolutely the height of the situation. Only "flaw" is the bathroom with the bathtub that I find a little ' little practice and maybe even anachronistic, but basically absolutely suitable for the context.

Pretty good hotel. The room where we stayed was big and spacious. What I liked more — is a big bathroom. The fridge was installed into the wall and we noticed it on the 3rd day of our stay. What else I liked it is the water and soft drinks were as a compliment.

Best hotel in bologna, the only hotel 5 stars in the city, reception is very friendly, helpful and speaks English good. Delux Rooms Are not big size, bed is really comfortable but pillows are not much comfortable, it is light. Bathroom is big, all marble, amenities available. Room service is perfect if it isn't made up the room at morning it can be done at night. What is special in this hotel and differs it than others and can't find in others is the location in absolute centre. The only negative point is the price expensive.

Our room was situated on the front, opposite the huge church, where we could hear the Lamborghinis roar as they pulled up at the entrance each morning.

A grand Hotel of great history and charm between brass and velvet rugs and staircases. Fascinating corridors full of memories and paintings. There are also the remains of a Roman road. Restaurant with frescoes Campbell.

Das Hotel ist wirklich beeindruckend, sieht wirklich schön aus, im Barockstil gehalten und nicht zu kitschig. Das Personal kann meistens nur etwas englisch und manchmal ist es schwer sich zu verständigen wenn man kein italienisch spricht. Man kommt nicht an sein Auto dran wenn man es zur Garage abgibt, sondern muss warten bis das Personal es wieder zum fahren bereitstellt und die Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto zum Hotel ist auch etwas mühselig. Alles in allem bekommt man aber eine Menge geboten wenn man dann einmal angekommen ist.

Il Baglioni è da sempre l'Hotel migliore di Bologna. È lussuoso ai massimi livelli e ha tutto per passare una vacanza mozzafiato. È il migliore anche per la posizione in cui si trova: infatti si colloca in via indipendenza, la via principale di Bologna, e a meno di 100 mentre da Piazza Maggiore, una delle piazze più belle d'italia.

The place to be in Bologna! Staff are amazing! Room is very clean and tastefully decorated. It's l Carracci Restaurant has a nice traditional Bolognese menu. Staff are so attentive to details and really nice. My daughter and I had a great time there.

Class, elegance, beauty, goodness, taste are some of the many features of the restaurant I Carracci. And let's not forget the sympathy and competence of the good maitre Giordano.

What distinguishes this hotel from others is the level of service! Great stay. It is the only 5-star property in Emilia Romagna.

Everything is lovely. Some of the decorations are a bit gaudy, but that's just a matter of taste. Breakfast is great, has pancakes with real maple syrup. There are a bunch of nice sitting areas throughout the hotel if you want to relax outside your room, including a nice outdoor area. The staff are all very friendly as well. The locations is in the middle of a main street with lots of restaurants, shopping, and the main square and church nearby. Overall, I definitely recommend.

Historically the hotel for celebrities and artists who come to Bologna. One of the only 5 star hotel in town site in the central Via Indipendenza. Highly professional top location. To try at least once. Prices aligned to the category to which it belongs.
