I have been several times in this hotel and I always feel great. Very close to the center. Large garage.
The restaurant is also excellent.

The hotel is modern and equipped with every comfort and service (jacuzzi on the roof garden, bar, restaurant, gym among other things). The room is nice and spacious as well as finely furnished and equipped with a flat screen TV with sky and the ability to connect via chromecast quasiasi your app (it was a superior), the breakfast very valid (excellent pancakes and cheesecake! ) and the price more than right, indeed maybe even below average.

I should have gone there in July to spend 4 days in Bologna and have a good holiday but my flight was cancelled without offering me another one because of coronavirus and Belgium even advises us not to go abroad. So we tried to ask for a refund which was obviously refused, so we offered to arrange things for both parties by proposing to postpone the trip until the end of the year so that we could reschedule a flight and wait until we could come. But it's impossible for them, we can postpone it until August at the most and we already have to give the dates. We lose 350€ which goes directly into the pockets of this hotel.
I advise you not to do business with them because they are not commercial at all. I understand that the situation is complex for everyone but allowing guests to come back at least until the end of the year would have allowed us not to lose our money for nothing and allow the hotel to keep clients or future clients. And to leave one week to give new dates until the end of August is nonsense, we don't know how to plan in one week a new flight or to take holidays again. It's a shame.

Beautiful, elegant, clean, comfortable from real 4 stars. Excellent breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, quick and impeccable service, focused on the care and cuddle of the customer. A spacious, well-appointed and modern room, clean and with all the amenities. Great value with very welcome welcome surprise. The property is served by public transport, with parking and relaxation areas. I am really pleased to have stayed at this property, to be considered for upcoming stays in Bologna.

Cannot recommend it enough! Located about a 15 min walk from city centre, the hotel has beautiful, large clean rooms with a giant bed! Breakfast was lovely with fresh quality goods. The sun terrace is wonderful to chill out on with stunning views of Bologna. Last but definitely not least, a huge thanks to the reception staff, kitchen staff (Connor and co — sorry we didn't get everyone's names! ) and cleaning staff for their kind and warm hospitality, helpfulness and going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderfully stay. A very good hotel very well placed for the city centre. Very professional and friendly staff. Good restaurant and bar. If you get a room overlooking the old city you will have excellent views if not there is always the very pleasant roof terrace.

The beds are comfortable and the room is very good. Breakfast is great. The staff are wonderful and ready to help. Underground parking is good and safe. It was a great stay and I would choose this hotel again.

Staff as always were the highlight of our stay at the Aemelia hotel! When we needed to be changed room because of a faulty window, David and Valerina did everything they could to ensure a smooth transition to a new room and to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. They were so efficient we were surprised to learn that they were not yet managers! Breakfast was good, although more tasty options for a gluten free diet would have been much appreciated. We also would have loved the opportunity to take our breakfast outside on the first floor, as it's a really lovely and relaxing environment. The range of movie channels were also somewhat limited and there were even fewer English speaking movie channels. This was a shame as we would have enjoyed a quiet night in at the hotel after a full day out and it would have encouraged us to eat at the hotel restaurant or order room service. However, I would certainly consider staying at this hotel again, it's perfectly situated for a city break! You can either walk or bike ride into the city centre in 20-30 minutes.

Just back from a week at the Aemelia. What a lovely stay. Very friendly helpful staff, super clean good size room. Great location away from the hustle and bustle but only a 20 minute walk to the city. Very comfortable beds, excellent shower, lovely breakfast, great selection of food. The roof top terrace and hot tub a great place to chill after a day in the city. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best choice of hotels in Bologna. Great staff very helpful and friendly. The dining room is decieving, try a meal there. Decoration is bland almost like a cafeteria but food is excellent. Rooftop garden let's you see the whole city so it is worth a look with your camera. Rooms are spacious and AC works so your comfortable regardless of the weather.

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are a good size and the bed is extra large. The breakfast service is very good. It has a beautiful rooftop terrace, although the Wi-Fi does not reach up there. The location is not very central but it is within walking distance. The neighborhood is relatively quiet.

Disappointing and not recommended for the price!
Rooms in old-fashioned beige-brown colours did not match the modern illustrations on the hotel side. Obviously there are renovated and unrenovated rooms, the latter of which we had. The window in the room was very dirty and the service staff at breakfast was inattentive or unattentive despite almost empty restaurants. Not present. The only plus point is the good location to the old town, which is quickly accessible after a short walk.

This was, without a doubt, the best hotel we stayed at during our time in Italy. Highly recommended. Staff was very professional and friendly. The jacuzzi on the roof has the best view in all of Bologna.

We have been greeted very kindly, at all times everyone was very friendly and courteous to us. The rooms were very clean. No complaints. Breakfast tasted super delicious. The hotel can recommend with a clear conscience.

Very spacious and clean rooms, equipped with every comfort and staff available and competent for any eventuality.
Located in a very convenient area, 15 minutes walk from the center.
The hotel also offers the possibility to park in an adjacent parking garage for €13 per day.
Small gym but with tools in very good condition and really well kept. Very impressive Roof Garden with nice view of the city and its towers.

A nice structure right near the center of Bologna easily reachable on foot or by public transport. The room is very clean A couple of good restaurants at 50 meters walk, friendly and smiling staff. Too expensive the parking lot attached to the structure (only flaw)

Noisy and cold room. Our room on the 5/F had a nice view of old town. However, there was a bar on 1/f at the same side of the hotel. With the outdoor seating of the bar, we could hear the noise from the bar all night long. Besides, room was cold even though we adjusted the temperature to the highest. Breakfast was just ok, not much varieties to choose from. Staff was friendly. Room was good size and bathroom was spacious. Unfortunately, it's a bit far away to walk to the old town. It's about 35 minutes walk to Piazza Maggiore. Would choose another hotel closer or at the old city next time.

Always good at the Aemilia in Bologna. If possible, try to get a top floor room. The views are stunning!

I organized an event in the hotel. Initially I was very surprised at the cost (higher average) of room and rooms. I have to say that we could not make better choice, whatever service and assistance was above all expectations, it is far above the average of the 4 star hotels that usually have this rating. It's basically a 5-star —! All the staff made themselves available even before we could have a need, to satisfy it, as if the event were theirs. The room was very clean Really a top quality. Restaurant at the paper with typical dishes and not really great and with prices below what I expected. Pre-and post-event assistance of the very first category. I don't know what else to write to make it clear that if you need a place for a well done and professional thing this is the place.

I spent with my fiance on a weekend at this hotel near the center, we enjoyed it. It was a very nice hotel. Impeccable welcome with a great welcome drink; Good breakfast Excellent service, only flaw as far as we are concerned was the excessive heat of the room, which we could not regulate in any way! If ever I have occasion to return to Bologna we rialloggerei surely!

An excellent base to stay for a few days as we discovered Bologna. The staff are particularly warm and welcoming. Our suite was large and very comfortable and well appointed — with a very comfortable king size bed and plenty of room for storage of our cases. The Manager booked a table for us for a show at the Bologna Jazz Festival — and we had the best seat in the house! Many thanks for your warm and generosity.

I have stayed at this hotel at least half a dozen times. My experience has been uniformly outstanding. The front desk staff is first rate. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The breakfast buffet is excellent. It is at most a ten minute walk to the university, and just over 15 minutes to the Due Torri in the city center. A great hotel.

A perfect base from which to explore the vibrant city of Bologna.
15 minutes from the centre, mostly under the colonnades with a spectacular view from the roof terrace. Take a bottle of fizz up from the bar and sit and watch the sunset.
The staff are pleasant and helpful, and the hotel is clean throughout. Breakfast is relaxed, never too busy, and sets you up for the day.

Nice, clean, modern, spacious room. The hotel is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, close to the city centre. However, the inside of the hotel is not quiet at all. The staff are lovely. I enjoyed the breakfast, but I was very disappointed by the food menu in the bar (which is also the room service menu) : a very limited selection of frozen pizza and sandwiches.

Good location — only 10 minutes from beautiful Bologna center. Resembles boutique hotels, due to it's size. Room service is not available 24h so check the info on the menu. Rooms are clean and simple. Down side can be that on most of it's 5 floors the corridor has wooden floors, which can be disturbing with all the noise shoes and kids running can create. Staff friendly.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. The amenities are great, with comfortable rooms and great staff. The breakfast buffet is great, and the restaurant has decent prices. The staff are thorough and attentive. The location is great, within walking distance of many attractions, and the rooms even have a nice view of the area. Recommended!

Just a few steps from the bus stop is convenient to get to. Clean and cozy with the terrace. I didn't get to see the rooms having been there for work in the day.

Arrived on site while we had our booking confirmation the hotel refused to receive us in the middle of December… finally they had a room at the price of the double announcement. In the face of this fact and in the festivities of the end of the year have accepted their offer unjustified and not quite honest.

From Bolognese, I recommend this hotel if you want to make beautiful figure with foreign guests, especially Americans. It's a stone's throw from the center. You breathe an international climate and the welcome is professional, although the lobby is not superb.

I have been to this hotel for a Conference, I saw the rooms, but the hotel is modern clean and the staff I found competent and friendly.

Very nice room with a good view of the city center. Price was very reasonable for what you get, and the staff were very helpful with directions and recommendations.

Stayed for 1 day. We booked the room while we were in Bologna. We got down there during our train journey to Venice. It was a great stay with the hotel staff very friendly, they even offered us a discounted room fare. Breakfast was sumptuous. Thoroughly enjoyed and we will come back here if we are in Bologna.

What a great first hotel in Italy! Wasn't sure what to expect, most people don't even hit Bologna on their Italian vacation. Walked from the train station at night in some rain to get here, almost passed by it but they had some helpful signs along the way to indicate the path, thank goodness! Going inside, seems like a very nice hotel indeed. But it's only when I saw my room and relaxed for a bit did I really appreciate the quality hotel this place is. It's not the cheapest, but I still feel I got a great deal for the price considering the quality of the room, and the best hotel buffet breakfast I can ever remember having, in any country! Oh yes, and regarding the lack of a shower curtain and the half door, that is strangely enough a standard in Italy that I experienced in many different cities there, you get used to it. It's also within walking distance to the city, and there is an amazing restaurant (Cesoia) right near it that I highly recommend. If you happen to visit Bologna, and I suggest you do if you want a less tourist-y look at Italy, you could do sooo much worse than the Aemilia Hotel.

I honestly don't see much from 4 star s. It is nevertheless appreciable though rooms with bathroom for disabled people is not the best to be found for those with normal people. Nonexistent parking, there's a fee and is also salty.

Aemilia Hotel attended our good be during our stay in Bologna. The hotel is perfect room *, home *, the restaurant *, parking * that of good for a reasonable price, this Hotel perfectly matches a four rare stars of today. I highly recommend this step if you have stayed in this beautiful city of Bologna.
