Excellent holiday hotel: very nice location on a small harbour with sandy beach and crystalline waters; ckean and cozy room with sea view balcony, very welcoming and kind staff; excellent breakfast and very good food at dinner (we were on hb) ; very good swimming pool area and 2 tennis courts; thanks to the whole staff for making our stay unforgettable.
An Hotel who has his best days behind him (I'm pretty sure it was a nice place with good Management) and actually not worth the price they charge per night.
The rooms are old but the bed is good, and the room was prepared nice and cleaned up well every day. The noise from other rooms where quite loud.
Breakfast: Very bad, not enough from everything, and the staff not even tried to prepare it nicely. The "juice machine" where every day a big mess and the staff did not care about …
Restaurant: We did not try.
Beach: Nice Beach, but also here Infrastructure is a bit messy and not really clean inviting.
We we saw the hotel and the Infrastructure we had the feeling that they rip us of with a fantasy price.
Elba is such a nice Island with many nice Hotels and places, but Desiree is definitely not the place to go!
