Hotel Delfino

It looks great. But when you look deeper there are problems.
First, the celling in the men's bathroom in the lobby has a horrible leak. Second, at night there is this really loud laughter coming from the casino and I have seen multiple ghosts. This place is absolutely haunted.
Oh, and be careful of those manta rays.

We spent a very good week in Hotel Delfino, for our first time at Isola d'Elba: comfortable bed, nice balcony with side view on the sea, clean, a bit small, but everything needed was there. VERY good restaurant, could choose a different delicious sea food each night, and all 4 courses of every meal were really tasty. Friendly and helpful staff everywhere: reception, room attendant, restaurant.
The beach service included is also a big plus: few steps for reaching the sea and its nice clear water. The position, center of Procchio, is also perfect to reach most of the beautiful sites worth a visit: Portoferraio, Porto Azzurro, Capoliveri, Monte Capanna. Warmly recommended.

We went to Delfino hotel as part of our honeymoon trip and our stay was great! The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good and four course italian dinners were just excellent. In some other review I saw that someone wrote that the portions were small — well I was glad I was able to make it to the second floor every day after dinner :D Free sunbeds, umbrella and private beach were a cherry on top.
Just a few details that can be improved. First we couldn’t find the entrance to the hotel at all. When we finally got to the hotel after we followed the instruction provided on the webside (that the main entrance is across the street from a gas station) there was a barrier but it was code activated but we didn’t get the code in advance, so we had to call the hotel.
The rooms aren’t soundproof especially when it comes to the sounds coming from the corridor. We could hear other guests who came back to the hotel later at night. In the morning we woke up at 7:30 every day because the housekeepers were getting ready and preparing their stuff in the corridor just next to our room.
In the bathroom there was nowhere to put the toothbrush on the washbasin (there was no cup or anything) or the soap. You could put the toothbrush and the soap directly on the washbasin but thats not exactly comfortable and hygienic.
