B&B Il Bacio di Capri

My apologies for the delay in this review. This was an idyllic B&B. Ana Capri itself is lovely and much less busy than Capri. The view from our room was stunning looking across at the bay of Naples. We were blown away by how lovely the roof terrace was and because it is a small B&B we usually had it to ourselves and it was so peaceful with awesome views. Both brothers who run the place were so welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful with transport and restaurant recommendations and just general info. It was about a 10 minute walk to town and there there was plenty going on and very easy transport by bus around the island. Wish we were there now…….

Wow — There are very few people in this world as kind and as welcoming as Christian and Davide.
If you're visiting Capri I couldn't recommend a better place to stay than here. Central location, beautiful breakfast each day, incredible views and beyond amazing hosts. I can confidently say this was our best stay over 4 weeks in Italy and we will certainly return.

We had the pleasure of staying in this truly unique B&B full of attention to guests. Perfect location for short walks in the village or up to the blue grotto which is only 30 minutes away by walking down a comfortable staircase to return by public bus. Excellent location just a few minutes from the center of Anacapri and not far from Capri by bus. The breakfast is also really rich and varied with fruit and sweets. The cleanliness and quiet of the rooms are impeccable. Really excellent!

Coming to Capri at the peak of the season, when JLo is performing at an Unicef charity gala it is impossible to find a room by short notice.
After hours of research and many phone calls I came across this lovely B&B at the far end of the island in Anacapri. Very far from the action of Capri, but at least on the island.
Christian, a lawyer, and his brother Davide have converted their family home into a 3-room b&b and give you the most hospitable service you can possibly imagine.
The place is inaccessible for taxis so it can only be reached by long walks.
This you have to be well aware of if walking is your pet peeve, but Christian makes up for this and kindly drives you everywhere with his small car that fits all alley ways.
The most attentive (and necessary) service you can imagine from a host. Thank god he only has 3 rooms and can offer this service.
The rooftop breakfast on the all-day solarium terrace is also one of a kind. Take room 2, because it is the only one with a small balcony at least.
All in all THE most romantic and affordable stay on Capri for a mile.
Strongly recommandable! It truly deserves its 5-star rating.

The owners, Cristian and Davide, were extremely kind and helpful. Not only did they come pick us up at the bus stop to help us with the luggage and show us how to reach the place, but they also explained to us how to get around Capri with a map and gave us some nice tips on what to do and where to eat. When entering “il Bacio di Capri” you instantly feel at home and yet the rooms’ beautiful view on the sea and the perfect location in the centre of Anacapri are a constant reminder that you are in one of the most beautiful places of the costiera Amalfitana. We loved Cristian and Davide’s attention to details, from sending the cleaning to the room as soon as they noticed that we had left to go to the sea but not sooner, to the lovely breakfast tray that you can enjoy in the terrace (they even asked for feedback to make sure that they included everything that we liked the following day). To be honest, I couldn’t recommend “il Bacio di Capri” more and should we ever go back to Capri, we will definitely stay at Cristian’s and Davide’s place once again.
