Excellent structure, strategically located for the whole city (station, port and historic center). Recently renovated and with taste, large and functional bedroom and bathroom. Everything extremely clean and anti COVID regulations respected perfectly. Guarded parking very close. Guido the manager of the B&B is exceptional, follows you from the time of booking, with lots of useful information and links. Support and help for the organization of everything, even in advance of your needs. Personalized and excellent breakfast. Hard to think of anything better 👏👏👏

Excellent reception, extraordinary in the cultural advice to visit the city never happened! Extraordinarily clean, great taste the furnishings, great taste the breakfast… etc. If you want to visit nearby areas stay here!

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the B&B Il Ritratto for approximately two weeks, in August 2017. I'll jump directly to the conclusion: it is our best stay among all! Why so? Well, let me list the reasons: 1) position: Salerno is a good strategical point to discover the Amalfi Coast, being a transportation hub. Moreover, B&B Il Ritratto is located both near the city center and the train station, port and bus stops (Sita Sud). Also, worth mentioning is that the neighborhood is quiet; 2) B&B & room: everything is brand new and modern, decorated with very good style. The rooms are equipped with everything you might need during your stay and, of course, cleaned every single day. You can also use the b&b's kitchen, where you can find a fridge (stuffed with snacks, fruits and juices) and, of course, an Italian coffee machine; 3) breakfast: you can choose what kind of breakfast you prefer: continental style (with meat, cheese, bread, butter) or the typical Italian style (more sweet, with pastry and croissants). And yes, you guessed: you can mix them. Also, the coffee is really good; 4) staff: Guido and his lovely mother are excellent, friendly, hosts, giving great advice for the best use of your time during your stay about what places to visit and the best places to eat; 5) installazione: finally, yes, we can confirm the other reviews we've read before checking in: B&B Il Ritratto has very good sanitary installations :)

What about… a B&B in the center of Salerno, refined, cared for in detail, large rooms, discreet staff in ways and at the same time prodigal of advice on the city, on the coast and on the Cilento. Good.
