Great friendly service, immaculate. Not the perfect location but they make up for that with the free shuttle bus.

We stayed here for 2 nights, the place is fantastic. I can not name one bad thing. From check in to check out the whole experience was amazing. Staff are super friendly and polite, food is delicious, the room was modern and had everything needed.
I would most certainly recommend the place and would definitely come back.

Hotel is outside Salerno, located just cross the road from the beach. In the surroundings there is not too much to visit or do, but if you travel by car or have a rented car, it is quite close (as distance) to Amalfi coast, Sorrento, Pompeii, etc. Timewise, due to the very nice road of the coast but with a lot of curves and slopes, it might be 1 hour – 1hour and half away, depending on the destination. Anyway, it is not lost time as you will enjoy every minute of the trip. Olimpico has a private beach with sunbeds offered for free to the hotel guests. The beach is well maintained and it has a lifeguard. Access from the street is restricted to public. Free parking places available at the hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms, well equipped. The free Wi-Fi is a little tricky to use as you have to log-on daily by inputting your e-mail or Facebook account, but in the end it works and the speed is ok. Pool: nice and clean, like all the public areas of the hotel. The public area is washed every morning, during breakfast time. Staff is very friendly and always smiling.

It's a nice hotel. A restaurant with a large menu but quite expensive. The beach is nearby, the sunbeds are free. The pool is big. There is a free shuttle to the city. But the area nearby is deserted. There's absolutely nowhere to go. There are no stores in the area of 2 km. Even water has to buy in the hotel 3 times more expensive. There is no entertainment except the pool.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this property deserves it and I tell you why. Although we booked well in advance and booked two standard rooms for two nights at the cheapest price, on our arrival we were assigned two rooms in the new part of the property, one of which even had hot tubs in the bathroom, The beds huge canopy. The other not least with huge shower and Samsung TV from a lot of inches. Satisfying my partner when it comes to mattresses, then, is really a feat: congratulations, passed the test with flying colors. Our daughters didn't want to leave anymore… Materials and finishes, not to mention cleanliness, truly at the highest level. The welcome was great from the staff, kind, nice and caring, even the cleaning ladies, very nice during the two days of stay let us visit other unoccupied rooms to learn more about the property. I must say that, when we entered a room we surprised one of the ladies to clean the shower box: I must give her my congratulations, elbow and so much passion, it is not from all hotels to have staff with such a commitment, I assure you I've seen a lot of them. Also great breakfast, with coffee and hood from a real bar machine. The pancakes made at the time were a pleasure for the palate.
The same evening we dined at the restaurant inside, impeccable service and prices all in all even below average. The only sin often missed the electric current, so it remained in dim light.

Clean and nice rooms, very rich and tasty breakfast, very friendly staff. Nice pools and garden. It is a very good starting place to explore coast (Sorrento, Salerno, Amalfi). If you have a car it's convenient place to explore Pompei and Neapol. Only one negative thing which is not connected with Hotel — dirty and little dangerous surrendings.

We were in this wonderful hotel from January 05 to 07 with a group of friends. It was an experience that will always remain in our most beautiful memories. Super Breakfast, superb dinner prepared with quality ingredients and freshness. Congratulations to the chef, all the staff and Mr. Peter for his advice and his professionalism. Good!

The hotel has a shuttle service to the centre of Salerno, which is very convenient;
Very nice and clean rooms
Dinner spectacular I tried seafood dishes and seafood all fresh;
Continental breakfast with crepes and pancakes prepared at the moment;

Now I just have to go back in the summer so I can use the beach and the pool.

Very nice hotel. Far from the city but very complete.

Very nice hotel. 4 stars because they refunded our money, because when arriving late, the road through town didn't feel like they warm, inviting Italian feel we were used to and wanted to change our 3 night stay to 1 night. Would be a great place if you wanted to enjoy the many amenities of the hotel and not venture far away. The facility is very well kept. The restaurant food was average.

We stayed for 10 nights at the Olimpico and the only word to say is wow. Our room on the second floor was perfect, comfortable and with large balcony. The choice for lunch was wide, there was everything.
Although the location is a bit far from the city of Salerno, the free shuttle service is just great. Thanks to Rosario (the shuttle driver) for his time and practical information! We were even offered to spend a day at the Pontecagnano shopping centre on a rainy day, which was not in the normal trajectory of the shuttle!
At the reception, whether Laura, Cristina or FRANCESCA, each offered us the necessary help, even in an excellent French. A big special thank you to Cristina, who took the trouble to contact our ferry company for Capri, in order to ask to change the dates for us. As the sea conditions did not allow the ferry to leave that day, we thought we would lose our tickets because they were unmodifiable. Cristina took the trouble and her time to call the ferry company and handled it like a pro. Thanks to her we were able to visit Capri a few days later! (Our tickets were waiting for us at the ticket office)

The restaurant Mediterraneo (restaurant of the hotel) offered a very large menu, at very reasonable prices. We ate there practically every night, and it was always perfect.

Incredibly clean. Friendly staff. Amazing free shuttle. Only downside was that the restaurant was overcrowded which put a strain on the service, and they lock the air conditioning so you can't make your room comfortable.

This is now my fourth time at this hotel. It's a very lovely looking four star hotel, with all mod cons. Lovely swimming pool. Breakfast included in the cost of your room with fantastic a la carte menu. Cost of the room is very reasonable and competitive considering it's four star. Highly recommended. All the staff are very friendly and hard working, always catering to your needs. They speak good English. Parking facility is off road which is located behind the hotel. Highly recommended.

The food was good and the staff were very nice. The hotel is flawed in details.

Great and pleasant staff however they do not take pride at making coffee at the morning or simply not trained, pitty as they got all the right gear, breakfast is ok and accommodate gluten free (you'll need to ask for the bread), we booked this hotel as it offered a balcony as we like to have our morning coffee that way but when we arrived we were informed that this is not the case so verify prior to arrival and get it in writing just in case, our mattress was broken and they ' fixed' it by turning it over which didn't help.

Great food and wine, hotel rooms are clean and comfortable with access on to the beach, good sized swimming pool, staff are very helpful, friendly and polite, all in all had a fantastic week and rooms are fully air conditioned which was well needed being in 36°, will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family has they have family apartments.

We had the most wonderful stay as a couple in a superior double room in July. We wanted a week of total relaxation by the sea and Olympico did not disappoint: immaculate pool area, outstanding breakfast, comfy room, huge bed, serene ambience, five star service. They've matched us with what probably is the best room in the hotel, number 206, sea view (and sunset over the Amalfi coast view! ) on the top floor with balcony hidden by the palm from direct view from the pool. Room service was very discreet and quick — no knocking on the door, they know when you're in if the room is locked from inside. A few things to note: — They offer a 10% discount if you pay by cash for the room and book on their website. — Beach towels were not provided so pack yours. — Private beach is a rarity in Italy and we really enjoyed hassle-free and very clean beach. Sea was a bit of a let down when we couldn't swim for a couple of days because the waves were too high, but then we hanged out at the pool. — You can use laundry room including washing and drying machine and detergent for 10 euro x3 hours — Parking is free, part of it is under cover, part of it is out in the sun — There is no supermarket within walking distance, just a couple of restaurants where we found food didn't taste that nice but prices were comparable with Olimpico. — As you can see on the map the hotel is in the middle of nowhere so there's no promenade or a place to walk.

Great hotel really a 4 star for Italy. Free shuttle that drops you off at the salt port to visit the Amalfi coast or at the salt station to catch the train. The staff's approach is exceptionally user-friendly… the food is faithful to Italy even in pensions or half board nothing is imposed choice à la carte.

We stayed in Hotel Olimpico during the summer in June. We are a family of 6 from Ireland. The hotel is outstanding in terms of it's service and food. There was a large pool and a mini playground with a private beach reserved for the guests opposite the hotel. The seating at the beach was very comfortable and free of charge. There was a bar there also for our use. The meals were large and very delicious. The waiters made the meals even better! They were always polite and happy. The rooms were in good condition too. We had lovely sea views which were fantastic when the sun was setting. We could hear the sea from our rooms. Overall our experience with Hotel Omlipico was amazing! Thank you to our waiters Loris, Antonio and Christine who made it even better! A car is useful for sightseeing. But there is a shuttle bus outside the hotel.

Great place to stay in salerno. Private beach access across the street. The beach is not very rocky. Rooms are clean and the one we got was brand new. A bit far from train station and port, but nothing the free 15-20min hotel shuttle can't fix! Restaurant food and service was excellent!

Very nice stay in Superior room. The staff are attentive and very nice. The hotel deserves its 4 stars, and we will return with joy.

Lovely attractive hotel with excellent prices. Reception staff were lovely, professional and spoke English very well and made us feel very welcome. We ate in the restaurant each of the 3 evenings we were there, unfortunately one evening the restaurant was over run with noisy unruly children who were allowed to play with the concierge trolley making for very dangerous play. No one intervened. I would definitely consider staying again as the accommodation was very comfortable.

My wife and I, along with my brother and his wife spent 5 enjoyable days at Olimpico. We were greeted warmly and given the keys to our comfortable, well-appointed rooms with balcony and view of the pool. Even though the hotel is a shuttle bus ride from the center of Salerno, we felt that the value we received, in terms of the delicious free breakfast, the comfortable rooms, and beautiful grounds were well worth the choice. The service was attentive, and the shuttle bus ran on time every trip. The staff are lovely, the food is quite superb. All home cooking, you dont want to consider eating in the town when there is such a lovely restaurant in nice atmosphere by the pool. Thanks and see you soon.
