This hotel was picked due to small budget. The hotel was clean and the room itself was modern and comfortable. The air con in the room worked. Although a balcony no seating for it. The hotel claims to be in Naples it is not luckily read reviews and so hired a car, if we had not had a car we would of been stuck. The hotel is situated in the middle of an industrial estate nothing around for miles and the local transport expensive and unreliable. Certainly not for a family or a relaxing holiday. The hotel staff were friendly and anything we asked for (kettle in room) they did provide. Must say the food in the hotel was unfortunately terrible and expensive and would only give 1 star for that and that is only due to the catering lady being very lovely and helpful. If you choose this hotel please get a car and travel to see what Italy has on offer be careful on those roads though they drive aggressively with no concerns or care. Glad I've been but would not visit again.

We booked through a smartbox and received an excellent room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet area not far from transport and the center of Naples. We had a great time. A respectable hotel where we will definitely return.

I was a guest of this Hotel from 21 to 25 June this year. Hotel no longer young place in a commercial area — administrative and why not also sporty (Hippodro of Agnano) ; which has in the past without a shadow of a doubt a considerable success. Rooms remodernised with taste, extremely clean, although the presence of the smell of sulfur can in some create problems. The Restaurant? Although quite large it offers corners of good intimacy with the kind and discreet welcome of the staff, very qualified. Menu: not vast, but on the days of stay, as my custom, I enjoyed all the dishes with full satisfaction of the palate and the service offered. Thank you and goodbye American Hotel.

Booked with Smartbox package for dinner and overnight stay for two people. Pleasant experience. Staff at the reception and waitress kind, patient and professional, breakfast rich, paccheri tasty fisherman. Slept in room 116: modern, clean and spacious. The only note goes to the mattress that, for my liking, was really too hard. Subjective opinion aside, 5 stars deserved!

I stayed here on a school trip, I had checked on a booking site The photos of the hotel, the rooms are completely different.
The rooms are very small, and with an excessive amount of beds, so much to be difficult to move.
The space of the room is unnecessarily divided into two, half used for the entrance and a remaining part to the bathroom and to the beds.
In the bathroom there is no window and the bathtub is not equipped with knurling or non-slip mats.
The sky modem is available but can only be used if you have the sky card. Wi-Fi is present, but the reception does not arrive on the third floor.
The staff are nice enough, especially they are available at any time if for example a guest stays locked out to open or to provide extra pillows.
You eat well, the first ones are good, the seconds a little less and the sweets are quite good.
The breakfast is varied, and the bread is very good.
The elevator is working, and offers the passenger listening to Nice music.
In conclusion, unfortunately personally I have not been satisfied.

Excellent quality of the rooms, spacious and modern with large bathroom. Sky TV in the room and little sofa.
Good breakfast, not very rich but with good cakes and a salty part rich enough.
Friendly Staff and reception open 24 hours on 24, the hotel has private parking for customers.
There is the possibility of shuttle service with NCC, given the peripheral location, the Metro Line 2 station is about 3km.

Hotel overall good, acceptable and honest price. Food good and, if not to your liking, you can ask for something else. Excellent service, helpful and friendly. Good and possibly adaptable rooms for 3 people.

Poor Hotel, friendly staff. Price for groups great. Cleaning absent, the beds were arranged randomly in the room, hair all over the floor, plenty of dust under the beds not to mention the bathroom, stains and splashes on the ground, dust and hair accumulated in the corners. Guarantee of hygiene or so it was written, but as soon as they arrived they had not even pulled the water. As for the food, the quality was just enough, not worth the 4 stars. It is not suitable for groups without any doubt.

Poor hygiene: Under the beds there are "dust mats" as if it has not been cleaned for more than a year, in the bathroom there is hair on the ground and inside the services.
But I have to admit that the staff were friendly and kind.

Very elegant hotel, fabulous rooms, great comfortable, clean and spacious! We were at lunch and dinner: great food, sublime the second of fish the salmon that we tasted, the Caprese cake was soft and yummy… breakfast plentiful and rich! Excellent and exquisite staff! We will be back soon and gladly!

Stayed my family and I for one night. The rooms are spacious and clean the staff courteous and kind breakfast plentiful. We didn't get to eat, but definitely will not miss opportunity to come back to you. I'il See you soon. Good luck with your work!

Very kind and helpful pereonale, parking and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast Clean and nice room. Very nice bathroom. To recommend. Next time, I'm definitely going back.

I spent 2 nights in this wonderful Hotel, I've gone away with the desire to come back soon, but this time to stop for longer! Everything was perfect, the structure was welcoming and helpful, of a cleanliness never seen so perfect… well kept rooms where you breathed fresh air!. Not to mention the breakfast. A super breakfast! In short, not disappointed indeed I will return. A Hotel that I recommend to everyone.

Bad food and staff in the restaurant Bad experience.

Internet sucks (if there is any), you can hear traffic outside, the bathroom door has some strange door lock. This can't be a 4 star hotel.

Nauseabonde smell, old and untreated room, very eccentric, however nice staff and breakfast OK.

The name is american hotel. Here was Napoli in Italy. Casuality was the recommendable point.

Rooms were large, hotel was in a questionable part of town.

I stayed 2 days at the American Hotel on business.
Spacious and clean rooms; staff friendly and very helpful.
Breakfast and restaurant offer diverse selection.
Covered parking controlled by automatic gates at night which provides security for your car.
Recommend American Hotel for their stay, would return.

The rooms as you order they may be, are really small and space is poorly optimized. As for the food, the overall average for me is between 6 and 7 (from 1 to 10). Great service! But, I think this is a four star Hotel.

Bathroom indecent, the opening of the faucet in the sink water comes out of the shower, cold water in the shower is nonexistent and the paint in the bathtub you are peeling off. Little electrical outlets, and wi fi Internet (free) is slow and does not take. Sky, matter, takes 4 channels.

The staff at the hotel, clean rooms, delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner, we were already last year we returned this year we thank all the staff and management will be back again.
