This hotel made all the difference in our short but intense stay in Naples. Has a central and strategic position, we did everything on foot. Very quiet so slept very well. The staff is qualified and very smiley, which is critical for open up your heart! The breakfast room is crazy. We will definitely be back why Naples deserves much more than a weekend! I could not wish better to celebrate my 50 years for them!

Nice Hotel, central location, decent price Decumani Hotel De Charme is a charming little hotel, not much to look at form the outside but some lovely details inside. This hotel is in the heart of Naples, so there is SO MUCH to do and eat. The staff were amazingly helpful all the time, arranging taxis, recommending restaurants, and serving an amazing breakfast in a lovely ballroom. Pros Breakfast was wonderful, big selections and fresh pastries as well as healthier selections, fruits yogurts etc Beds were very comfortable. Ballroom with a grand piano to play! Central location Cons the hotel is a little tired in places but is lovely and clean (this should not put you off staying here)

The hotel is beautiful, the location is very sketchy… Naples itself is not my favorite place in Italy.

The hotel offers a continental Italian breakfast served with a buffet set up at the luxurious 18th-century lounge inside.

Decumani Hotel de Charme is located in the centre of Naples, a 15-minute walk from Naples Railway Station and the ferry port to Ischia, Capri and Sicily.

Old, derelict, dirty, ghastly service, defective Technology. Some called it rustic and ancient Charm. In fact, you're in old Ruins with a moldy Bath and faulty Fridge. A Remedy will not be put in place. If you Ask for cold Mineral Water or Wine, you only harvest Your Head shakes. At Night you can choose between the Crash of the Air Conditioning or the Crash of the Road with the window open. Both Are intolerable. Breakfast scoffs at any Description. Old Coffee and synthetic Juice. The Fruit Salad was already black. The highly acclaimed Dining Room is full of Water Stains, Mold and the Plaster has burst off everywhere. The Tables are so wobbly that the ghastly Coffee spreads across the Table every Time it moves. The only positive Point is the friendly Staff. For that a Star … Just stay away!

Location: 5 stars. In the heart of the historic area, close to great pizza, and walkable to everything we wanted to see and do. Breakfast was good — especially for being included and had a wide variety of food. Eggs, meats, huge pastry selection, fruit, etc. Breakfast is served in a beautiful historic room. We could have sat and had coffee in there for hours. The only complaint was the size of the showers and the hair dryer. The hair dryer would short out every minute and then needed a minute break to be used again.

Great room, location in the center, the evening full of youth as soon as you exit the entrance. Room to eat beautiful, ceiling 10 meters high all frescoed. Historical building.

Room 211 TV very old and not working, signs of wear. Old furniture, shower to be fixed. Good location.

Very nice staff and comfortable rooms. Was given excellent advice about local restaurants. Breakfasts: good quality food and reasonable amount of choice — unless you are a 'F. E. B' anorak.

In the heart of Naples between alleys and historic buildings a wonderful hotel in what was the palace of a wealthy prelate and so you also feel the guests.

Very elegant Hotel, without unbridled luxuries, but of taste and class; Clean and quiet room Neoclassical breakfast room with stucco and monochrome frescoes that makes you fully enjoy being in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, immersed in the beauty overflowing with art and history. The breakfast is rich, fresh, abundant, with products of the quality territory next to those of the typical continental breakfast requested by a mostly foreign clientele.
A note about the staff: of a proverbial kindness, all of them. Again a special note to the girls of the Breakfast: Nice, friendly and sincere smile.

The location Garage close by, very narrow streets to handle. It's located in the. Old Center… close to Pedestrian.

Complicated to go by car, but walking is very nice, quiet neighborhood, students.

Nice place, hab girls with single beds girls and small bathroom, poor location and no parking-it is to be on foot because the streets are not all passable many people and photofines without clear indications of the hotel… The breakfast place a dream and Excellent attention to the girl.

It is very well decorated, has excellent breakfast in a gorgeous salle. Cleaness could be improved (i left a toilet paper behind toilet seat and was there for two days… rooms are big but with no amenities like coffee maker, glasses or even a bin to throw something. It is quite difficult to find the hotel but I must say that staff is very kind and the location is very convinient! you will not need subway or bus to go around!

It is nice hotel but definitely not 4 stars. It is very central, room is big but there is no slippers, no coffee or tea even more no free bottle of water. Cleaness is not so good. I left behind the toilet seat a toilet papee semi-used and it is still there after 3 days. Staff is very kind, breakfast is excellent and breakfast place is magnifique but because of the lack of amenities I would not recommend it as a 4 star hotel. Also, of course there is no view of the rooms but at a parking.

A nice hotel in a splendid location (100m away from"spacca Napoli", wonderful breakfast in a classy room. Maybe the room needed a little patch up but a beautiful stay overall.

Far from the station. Very small rooms. The shower in the bathroom gets flooded every time you take a shower. Only good note the breakfast although they have coffee in the Waffle maker and in Naples is not acceptable. The 4 stars in my opinion are not real.

It's hard to drive up. It's hard to find any pointers. Uncomfortable shower.

It seems to be well located but just arrived for a 3 night stay. Room is spacious and well presented but problems with bathroom which haven't been resolved yet — leaking sink, disappearing toilet seat.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms and linen es clean daily. The breakfast good and fresh. The location very central in the old part of the city. All made for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Very hot for $329 — two things tourists want — air conditioning & able to sleep after 15 hrs walking. You have to call reception for ANY air conditioning at all — was hotter inside than out. Was very angry after arriving from Rome to find very very hot & having to call for a/c… we will enjoy anyway. Dissatisfied should have booked @ hotel w/air you control. Was so HOT all the time in the room & staff stated do not touch air conditioning. Room never cooler than 90 degrees. Nice eh, show around room & if you're not use to it intimidating yet very interesting area.

See some location… Great rooms and staff. Dont be put off by first impressions of the Historical region its wonderful.

The location is not pleasant. Walking difficult. You either fall on the cobblestones or are run down by the cars as you must walk right in the street. No decent restaurants nearby to which elderly folks can walk. Tv does not work. Called twice for repair without anyone coming.

Good hotel, no extra confort type bar or common rooms equipped, great location in ancient Naples for shops, Movida and metro, I do not think very suitable for children.

If you want class and elegance in the middle of the historical centre come here! The building holds so much history it feels like to step into a time machine. The salone with frescos is amazing that's where you can have breakfast and relax. For spring and summer they have a lovely terrace. I would suggest to ask for a quiet room as the square nearby is very active but nothing to worry about as it is a very civil area. In the night don't freak out if they close the main doors or the hotel entrance, it happen to us few times and it was very funny! They close the doors but with a simple know the staff will welcome you in. Exceptional customer service, I will highly recommend to everyone.

Location is very fun and central, but not the quietest. The hotel itself is quiet, but the street and city are noisy, especially on weekends. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good, but there were a few spots in the room needing refurbishing — shower head that wouldn't stay up, hair dryer that died.

A hotel that loses bcp points to my eyes because of the noise in the evening and at night if you occupy a room on the street side. Indeed on Friday and Saturday evenings the nearest café remains open until 4am… it's screams in the street, music all the time that keeps you from closing your eyes. If you want to book anyway, ask for a regional room on the courtyard side.

Lovely hotel, great staff, very close to very lively area of naples! If we had stayed in a different area of naples I don't think we would have enjoyed our time as much.

Good hotel: big well-equipped rooms, excellent water pressure in the shower, super friendly and helpful staff, excellent location. I wasn't crazy about the breakfast, but it did the job.

The staff made our midwinter stay here most pleasant, the rooms were impeccably clean and spacious, the breakfast was real food (wonderful Neapolitan woodfired oven bread, freshly made cake, real juice, local clementines, hand-cut salami) and was served in the delightfully faded grand salon, the decor throughout in antiques was elegant and calming, Overall way, way above any Italian three-star and thoroughly recommended — just don't flinch when you get in the makeshift lift!

The hotel was great, its on the second floor of a very old building in downtown Naples. It's been refurbished and is very nice. Our room was good size, free Wi-Fi access, and reasonable mini bar prices. The manager and staff spoke english and were helpful. The Bad: Naples is the dirtiest city I have every been too, graffiti on every wall and trash in the streets. We stayed here because we wanted a central location to see Pompeii and Capri. I highly recommend the Hotel, Naples not so much.
