Dream restaurant with excellent cuisine, a lovely view, a delicate and discreet background music on the piano, impeccable staff.

The views are breathtaking even from the lift which plunges say 60m to the beach club with pool and sea access. The hotel has Italian individuality with loads of friendly staff, elegant traditional furniture, patterned floor tiles, elaborate if a little old fashioned bathrooms. Very spacious snd all the time the views.

The Hotel Santa Caterina is set in the most stunning location on the Amalfi coastline, with beautiful bougainvillea covered terraces overlooking the sea to have your breakfast coffee or evening cocktails.
Rooms are all unique, classic and beautifully decorated.
Staff are lovely, helpful and attentive.
The hotel gardens and lemon groves are delightful to explore and the pool area is amazing. Staff come by with iced water, fresh fruit and cool cloths and their is bar service for a cold beer or limoncello or Aperol spritz. The Restuarant food is just the best.
I loved our visit to the Amalfi coast, but The Santa Caterina made it a special memory with our good friends.

Atmosphere, views, pre-dinner drinks and nibbles and service was amazing. We felt like princesses… I did expect a nicer main meal. My pasta was hard and not freshly made, as I would expect from an expensive, exclusive restaurant and hotel. My massage and pedi was very average in quality and I paid 3-4 times more than I usually pay.

Best honeymoon possible. Staff is incredible. Just trying speaking Italian as opposed to the typical American tourist way.

Beautiful hotel located overlooking the sea. The interior furnishings and the details of the tiles of the floors and the beds are beautiful, with typical motifs of the area. Beautiful garden and The Lemon grove with a headful scent. The breathtaking view of the sea and Amalfi. Salt water pool. Impeccable service and kindness. To describe it is to diminish it is to live and pernotrarci to be able to enjoy it. A beautiful dream.

A structure and a unique place in the world.

We just stopped in for drinks after a weary hike but they were so friendly and accommodating!

An excellent 5 star hotel on the Amalfi coast, just outside the town of Amalfi. A shuttle is available to go into town, or you can also walk.

One of the best hotels in the region. Not a fresh but confident heavy suite. The restaurant for the evening is better to book.

Stayed at Santa Caterina Hotel for 1 night. Parking right up front and valet took care of car. Check-in was quick and we got a N1 Suite with a sea view. The room was spacious and clean. We ate dinner downstairs. The piano player was wonderful and food was amazing. The staff was well groomed and always helpful. During checkout they allowed us to keep my car at hotel until 3pm so we could site see in Almafi. The hotel even had a van to take us there and bring us back for free. I will stay here again when we go back to Amalfi!

If I could give a 10 star rating, I would. The staff, the room, the food were all beyond my expectations. There are not enough words that can truly describe how beautiful this hotel is and how great they treat their patrons.

Beautiful Hotel, Incredible Service, Friendly Staff, Amazing Pool I went last year with friends for our birthdays, and we fell in love with the hotel and the wonderful people at The Santa Caterina, we went back this year and it is an amazing place. To relax by the pool and jump in the sea and go swimming in October is fantastic.

We have stayed at many exclusive hotels and found the inconsistent service to be below expectations. Day one, service including the spa treatment was five star. Day two however the complimentary newspaper never transpired, our breakfast plates were not cleared efficiently and it was an effort to provide us with sunbeds in the shade at the pool as they were using the covered shade area as a messy storage area with stacked sunbeds rather than bothering to set them up (this was midday, it wasn't even first thing) and rather than clear the space we were placed next to stacked sunbeds along with another couple who also wanted shade. The bedroom we were in was very noisy located under the dining room and piano, the constant scraping of furniture and whilst the piano was lovely, one evening we were looking forward to an early night and this was not to be. The bed sheets are over starched and the finish in the room was not great, a large visible hole in the tiles behind the telephone in the bathroom, the taps on the bath were labelled incorrectly (hot was cold and vice versa) and a technique required to turn the shower off. The location itself is superb but we were amazed that it is 5 star. A real disappointment for our honeymoon.

A fabulous hotel in a superb location. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the staff is warm and welcoming and the restaurants are excellent. If there's a better place to be, I haven't found it. This is our second stay here, and we will be back again and again.

The top of the top in Amalfi, there is nothing better. A name, a guarantee!

Perfect in every way. Protected from the craziness of Amalfi, but just a 10-minute walk from town. Beautifully maintained, great shower, delicious food, and a private sun deck so you can jump right into the sea. We went in high summer, but would live to return in May-June or Sept-Oct when the area becomes a little more low key.

Wonderful place impeccable service you eat great.

The hotel is in an astonishing position, we went there for a wedding so we don't know nothing about rooms. We had a cocktail by the see and had dinner on a terrace very close to the see. Nothing to say about the food, it was of a good level but probably we expected more even if it's always hard to prepare food for a wedding. So, we can suggest this hotel for the position and location.

This hotel is amazing. Best place to stay in Amalfi. Customer service and ocean views are top notch.

Epic. The staff, the breakfast buffet, the rooms, and especially — the beautiful pool by the sea. It was the best service we had throughout our trip in Italy. Highly, highly recommend.

Amazingly beautiful views from the patio! Did not stay here, so can't say much about the rooms… but the lobby area is gorgeous!

My husband and I recently spent a few days in this wonderful hotel, surrounded by a natural park flower quilting, with a stunning panorama between sky and sea of the Bay of Amalfi, who created a striking atmosphere.
L welcome was friendly and warm.
The quality of the dishes was of the highest level that, coupled with impeccable service and a polite piano background, made our stay unforgettable and we hope to repeat.

Goodnight or Goodmorning world "GOOGLE", the words to describe this hotel would simply a "sense" that would not ever to emotions that I hope you may have aimed the photos that I attach to this review. Among other things I strongly disagree with the meager 4.4 and the unfair 9. Booking 5 but then are scores that reward the excellence of this (which is counted among the world's finest small hotels) gorgeous and stunning hotel in AMALFI, Pearl and leader of Amalficoast, scores, while huge, respect the diversity of human thinking and vivaIDDIO that pure State.

Simply spectacular hotel in every sense!

We stayed here in August with our family. It is truly and amazing hotel in Amalfi. The location and views are breath taking. The staff will make everyone feel right at home. Food is wonderful too!

Really beautiful hotel with some of the best service that I've ever had to date. Beautiful rooms which they put fresh flowers in for us. Love the unique, local design of the hotel and the staff is extremely helpful and accomodating. The restaurant also has the best service and delicious food with good poritions. Great spa.
