Amazing views, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and nice room+kitchen. But very hard to get in and out there. Public bus stop 15-20 mins walking away through step hills and stairs. Bus doesn't usually run on time, so average waiting time for us was 40 minutes, sometimes in the rain (bus stops in the middle of the road, with no shelter whatsoever). Pogerola is 10-15 mins away up stairs, very beautiful and quiet village. Poggio Antico has 3 parking lots, though we didn't want to hire a car as the roads through the coast are usually collapsed, plus cars are very annoying when walking in Amalfi and other places. A motorbike could have been an option, but take into consideration the expense plus no Italian wine when booking! ;)

We absolutely loved our stay at Al Poggio Antico! The apartment is lovely and has an open platform. Very clean and organized! A beautiful view of the Almalfi from the balcony! Antonella and Vittorio are wonderful! They are very thorough and attentive! The reserved parking was absolutely worth it. 10 euro a day is a very fair price! The bus transportation is the way to go! The bus stop is not far from the apartment, about a 5 min walk. Bus tickets can be bought at the Tabaccheria near by for only a euro 1.30 a ticket! Definitely worth It! We highly recommend this place for couples, or families. We are a family of 4. (A child and a baby) they offer a crib if needed! Pictures of our balcony view…
