Waiters were super nice but most part of the menu was verbally, hard to memorize and decide, and possibly some mistakes during the translation.
We ordered grilled octopus but squid came instead, super chewy and tasted a bit bitter from some burn.
The star was the melanzane fritta, which was part of the covert.

One of the best restaurant in Tropea! The food is delicious, we tried antipasti, pasta, risotto and dessert, everything was fresh and tasty! Staff are very friendly and provide professional service! Very nice terrace, everything made with love! Grazie ragazzi! ❤️

Very fresh food from the sea. Staff was pleasant and attentive. The chef is very personable and nice. One of my favourite restaurants in Tropea. Have the risotto di pesce and fish of the day and make sure to end with tartufo.

Beautiful, wonderful delightful place to stay, can not recommend enough!
Family run b&b with restaurant, tastefully decorated with traditional touches, comfortable extra large bed, huge room and spacious modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Cleaned and fresh towels daily, even provided toiletries. There’s a small fridge stocked up with beer and soft drinks and water left in the room.
Breakfast was continental and you helped yourselves, Teresa made us excellent coffee and replenished the breakfast items, she also cleaned the rooms and kept the place looking tidy.
We stopped here for 2 weeks in late May, early June and the weather and stay was perfect. Cece is the owner and tried his best to converse with us using his translation app on his phone, lovely host always tried to do his best for you from recommending a great place to get pizza to providing an excellent meal and cake for my birthday.
I had toothache and he arranged an appointment at the dentist for me, my partner wanted to get a hair cut and he showed us where his barber was. He was happy to help.
His son helped explain the restaurant menu and his nephew Giuseppe who spoke excellent English, was our waiter, very friendly atmosphere and family oriented.
Loved every minute of our stay, and feel very fortunate to have picked this b&b as our home away from home for 2weeks.
It’s five minutes from the main streets and a couple of minutes, if that, to the steps leading down to the beach and harbour.

Quality raw material, treated with respect, elaborated with skill and poetry.
A restaurant that does not betray its vocation and its history.

We were welcome at this family run restaurant although it was still early and we were the first to have dinner as our son was hungry (almost 2 years old).
The atmosphere of the restaurant outside is cozy and traditional. It is located in a small street walking from the main road and is quieter. The service is good and the staff friendly. The master's son also started drawing with our son for a while so we enjoyed a good Aperol Spritz.
We ate spaghetti with Tropea onions, swordfish rolls, a green salad, grilled vegetables and for our son we could order fried squid with chips. For dessert a truffle and a sorbet in Limone. In all it was a fairy tale to eat there! All very well!

But how does this place get these positive reviews? Bad food to the far-fetched, bad service, no safe distance between customers, staff without a mask… Beyond the damage the mockery: the waiter tells us that it is not possible to smoke iqos outside for covid (? ) and when at the end of dinner he is questioned about why none of the staff did not comply with the covid rules he replies: "ma'am… There is no covid here! " what an evening to forget!

Very pleasant dinner in the historic center of Tropea. Outdoor tables, great welcome and super first courses! We went to try the red onion spaghetti and were not disappointed. We also tasted another first (more feminine, but really tasty) : spaghetti with pistachio pesto and langoustines. The frying of moscardini and surici is also good. Recommended!
