Not even the worst hotel can spoil the experience of this beautiful country — Italy.
In a way that did not like:
1. Very skimpy breakfast. Worse than in a regular hotel such as B'B. Nonsense: no tea (for the first time I saw this in many years of travel! ). Italians do not drink tea for breakfast!? Laughter, but had to eventually buy in the store and carry for breakfast tea bags with him.
2. No one speaks much English at the reception or animation. Conclusion: this hotel is not waiting for foreign tourists. The administration is captivated by its own ideas about resort holidays (example with tea above is very revealing in this sense). Evening shows, as you can guess, are also strictly in Italian.
3. This hotel has invented its own all inclusive: called soft all inclusive. The essence of it is that drinks are available to you only from vending machines in the restaurant (wine, juices, cola, water) during breakfast, lunch, dinner or in the bar on the street from 10 to 21 hours (non-alcoholic). If you woke up early, had breakfast, bathed and wanted to drink — wait 10 am. I understand the desire of the administration to earn on the paid bar in the evening, but in the morning you can open vending machines with water and early at least for an hour, especially since breakfast is up to 9.
4. In the restaurant you can pour red and white wine from packages. Its quality is highly questionable. There's no beer. Want bottled wine and draft beer? You will be asked to pay extra and move to another smaller restaurant. And anyone who knows how to count and appreciates quality, it is clear that it is easier to go in the evening to a restaurant on the street and spend money there.
5. There is no hook or shelf in the shower room. Where to put soap and washcloth?! I had to buy for 1 euro soap on a sucker and solemnly stick it on the wall. That's funny. Thank you, you don't have to buy a toilet.
6. Beach towels are given out at the reception, and in the morning clean may not be and you have to wait half an hour. Take it from the evening, in short, and drag to the room, so easier.
7. Bonus for those who paid extra for a separate restaurant, are the first three, close to the sea, a number of sunbeds on the beach. The rest of the guests can not occupy them.
8. The hotel is designed for the age category in principle and is popular with Italian pensioners. A lot of disabled people. If you are young and energetic, this hotel is definitely not for you.
9. The consequence of p. 8 is widespread smoking. Pence walking in front of you and smoking on the go, a neighbor on the beach with a cigarette in his teeth and fumigating you — this is a daily picture, unfortunately.
10. You will not be allowed into the pool without a cap, which you need to buy at the reception for 3 euros. Seeing this for the first time, I suppose that this nonsense is associated with the savings on cleaning filters, which are constantly clogged with hair. However, if you are bald, then this item is not a problem for you.
Moments that you liked:
1. Behind you in the restaurant fix a personal table. It is convenient, do not have to look for a free every time and always know where to sit your sit, if you came, for example, later.
2. Rooms are cleaned before lunch. That is, returning from the beach, you are sure that already removed and you will not be disturbed by the maid neatly when you climb into the shower. A rare case, by the way, for a resort hotel with a large number of guests.
3. Many sports grounds: football, basketball, tennis, ping pong.

Total 10 minuses vs. 3 pluses. Whether it is worth settling here, coming to Calabria — decide for yourself. And The Rock and The Surrounding Area, of course, are beautiful.
