Review of TH Capo Rizzuto 3*

I and my family have visited this Hotel in the summer of 2016 and am very disappointed. Already on arrival I had to find, that you get only very bad and unfriendly Service, and a communication was mostly in Italian. Bags were only carried after a discussion to the room and the room we had to find alone (about 30 min). The guest is NOT a king, but rather the staff. The rooms were atrocious, dark and in the bathroom there was mold. It was offered to us not as a replacement, even though other rooms were free (we asked the cleaning ladies). Instead, we were told lies such as, "the toilet is broken". Please do not book this Hotel is far from 4 star Standard in Italy. Also, the hotel management to confirm to us that it is a 3 star Hotel, although on the booking pages are of 4-star. And 3 star in Italy mean in about 2-star in Germany, although there are no clear guidelines. Eaten is by the way a 8-seater table. You may not eat alone, and is set together with other. As a German, I had the feeling a second class person to be in the Hotel. About 70 % were Italians. The location is very good but also very crowded. In some cases we were not able to enter the Pool, since an incredible number of Teenagers were in the Hotel. As a result, it was always very loud by the Pool or on the beach. The Hotel was also more like a holiday house for children, as a 4 star Hotel. All-Inclusive meant just that, you could get drinks in 0.2 L plastic cups at the Bar. Drinks in the room costs extra. We had to argue a lot about our small child (3 years old) was allowed to take a milk in the room. In the end we gave up and 1 € for the milk/cocoa paid. Italians can purchase a "gold card". So all good then Lie on the beach or places in the "Restaurant — more of a Cafeteria". I could not bring in experience, how do I get such a Card, probably at a surcharge. Conclusion: This was my worst holiday ever and for 660 € p. P. (19.08. — 26.08. ) extremely expensive for such a bad Hotel. Also many other guests from France/Sweden and other countries were very disappointed by this Hotel. For me, it was a rip off, so BEWARE! You calculate with a 3-star level (3 stars) and you will not be disappointed.
