Kfar Habad is a small religious community located in the Center District of Israel. Situated approximately 20 kilometers southeast of Tel Aviv, this district is known for its peaceful and serene atmosphere. Kfar Habad is primarily inhabited by members of the Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic movement, a branch of Orthodox Judaism. The city is named after Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the seventh and last Rebbe of Chabad-Lubavitch, who was commonly referred to as the "Rebbe of Habad." The community was established in the 1940s, and since then, it has grown into a thriving religious center.
