Faithlegg Hotel & Golf Course is at an amazing location in East Waterford.
The Hotel is beautiful ❤️, with a lovely atmosphere and amazing service. The Health Spa is also great for ye ladies who like a little treat.
The grounds are lovely to have a nice walk and of course The Golf Club is also great for a round of golf.
Only a 15 min drive to Waterford City, or to Passage East where you can get a ferry accoss to Ballyhack, and drive to Wexford.
So close to Woodstown, Dunmore East and Tramore for a drive around the coast.

We have just had the most lovely experience. Super hotel, lovely staff, best food I’ve eaten for a long time (apart from home cooking) glad we brought our swim suits as they have a lovely pool.
Excellent value we will be going back and soon!

We had our daughter s Postponed wedding g there on 2nd October but even though we o ly volf have 50 Ye reall y made her day very special. All staff were terrific and put us all at ease Highly recommend. Thank you one and all ye were amazing and hotel was beautiful and gardens gorgeous.

Had a lovely couple of days in Faithlegg the week before last. We had a lovely break and enjoyed everything about the hotel. The staff were so friendly, the meals were delicious and hotel rooms were lovely. A big thank to Rasa, the accommodation manager for the safe return of a precious photo left behind. Hope to return again!

I just spent a wonderful few days in Faithlegg. Wonderful golf course, great rooms, outstanding food and the staff were exceptional. Special thanks to Allan and all the restaurant team for the brilliant service. Oh and it’s the best Covid compliant hotel I’ve been to on this staycation.

We stayed in Lady Olivia suite over the weekend and it was absolutely amazing! Staff were so helpful, food was gorgeous and the room was spectacular. We were worried about staying anywhere because of Covid 19 but I would highly recommend this hotel, social distancing is kept by all staff and sanitiser is available everywhere. We can’t wait to return!

Thanks to my in-laws for this fab birthday present. Stayed overnight in the gorgeous Faithlegg House Hotel & Golf Club. Gorgeous room upgraded to the best suite in the house, thanks so much to the manager Liam and all the staff for making it extra special, even coming out to sing happy birthday with my own personalized cake ❤️ The hotel and grounds are magnificent, food is mouthwatering, even the spa is unbelievable, the jacuzzi alone is like a miniature swimming pool. Loved it xx.

Just back after a short break. It was our first time staying here and it was absolutely lovely. We just needed a relaxing break and it was definitely the spot for that. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our suite “ The New Geneva Suite” was amazing. It was so spacious and comfortable and an ideal place just to relax. The food at both breakfast and dinner was beautiful with plenty of choice to suit any diner. We hope to return again as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had so a fab stay here over the weekend. The staff are so warm and friendly and they made sure we had a lovely stay. The food here is the best I’ve had in a hotel in Ireland. We stayed in a master room in the old house and it’s well worth having this experience. We felt so spoiled. The man working in the golf club was so lovely to us also, my partner was on crutches and they gave us a golf Buggy to explore the grounds. The jacuzzi is also fab in the leisure centre.
We really appreciate all the effort made by everyone to ensure we had a lovely stay. We can’t wait to come back.

There was a wedding here on the first night of our stay but it didn't impact on us at all. A large family function on the second night didn't interfere with our enjoyment of the facilities or impact on the service given to us. Well done Faithlegg.

Just back from break with my daughter. Wonderful time from the moment we arrived to when we reluctantly made our way back home. The Hotel, Staff, food and surroundings were amazing. Special thanks to Michaela in the Spa. Planning next trip already.

A fine spacious hotel. The food is delicious, the staff are courteous and hardworking. Accommodation is very good and Faithlegg House Hotel is very good value.

We were at a wedding here on Saturday last and travelling from Kilkenny. We were allocated a room within minutes of arriving, well before midday. I will have to say that we requested this weeks in advance and true to their word we were in our room before the said time. Staff were very friendly here and helpful. However a few little things did go missing on the day that stressed the bride and groom out. But that was sorted. Room was nice, nothing worth the tariff that is charged. Didn't appreciate the fact that once the band and disco finished staff were in the function room, tearing of table cloths and covers on the chairs and stacking them while guests of the wedding were still there. It was like here's your coat now get out. The lady that was on breakfast the following morning I found lacked manners to the guests coming into breakfast. She took the room number and then told us in a brash tone to wait in the lobby until you are called, and the Bríde and Groom were spoken to in the same manner. If I can leave this review with one suggestion… That would be to have a table reserved for the bride and groom at breakfast so that they don't have to wait in the lobby with everyone else. After all they have left a substantial sum of money there for their memorable day.

Fantastic accommodation with great views and golf facilities, rooms are great in size and well kept would have got all five stars but for some staff issues ie in the bar and at breakfast being a bit slow. . But otherwise great.

It was very nice to be in Faithlegg House Hotel & to enjoy having dinner with my wife and family at the splendid dining room — the food & the atmosphere were unforgettable & of the highest quality! Also may I say the staff were both efficient & extremely courteous. We also had a wonderful & helpful conversation with Eddie the House Manager regarding places of interest in the countryside adjacent to the Hotel.

Attending a wedding. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Food was really nice. Only complaint was the service was terrible. Very slow! Can't blame the staff as the were all very young. Obviously no proper training…

I had the best meal I’ve ever had in my life at this hotel. Venison with braised cabbage! It was so good! The accommodations were very nice, the staff was very friendly. The only downside to this hotel is the crows outside on the premises. The squawking didn’t stop from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. It made it difficult to sleep as we could hear them from our room… otherwise this place is great!

We stayed at the Hotel for a family wedding and all I can truly say is thank you. The Hotel is stunning with great history and located in the countryside 10 minutes from Waterford town. It has a golf course spa with pool and fantastic facilities. As a large family we stayed in the hotels chalets/ holiday homes located beside the Hotel and they were fantastic. I found the staff warm courteous and very accommodating. To stay in Faithlegg is a real treat and it is definitely worth a visit.

Great staff great history great food if eat early, took in some golf and swimming plus cycling. What more could you want for holidays. To top it all they have a Faithlegg Icehouse Lager especially brewed in Waterford not available anywhere else. How about that. Families love it too. On my honour, and not far from Waterford.

Lovely hotel with lots of charm, but needs up its ante, we ordered three different coffees, ended up with only one of the coffees ordered and the milk jug & cup both chipped. There was only a few people ordering drinks from the bar so not busy, you would think they know a Mocha ended up with an Expresso, ordered a Cappuccino ended up with an Americano. Ordered a pot of tea for two people later ended up with a pot of tea for one, we decided enough was enough, head out somewhere else.

Beautiful house and grounds. Golf course magnificent. Food and service 1st class and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely will be returning.

Just a beautiful big, big house that has unbelievable gardens, little sitting rooms for a drink or afternoon tea. Attended a wedding there that I couldn't fault in any way. It was beautiful and intimate for the couple, a setting that is so made for an outside ceremony (which I attended). Just the biz!

A long awaited weekend away after having a baby three months ago. We were so looking forward to it but to say we were disappointed was an understatement. From the hazardous entrance to our room especially with a buggy, waiting 45 minutes for our order to be taken in the clubhouse (no lift or slope to get a pram upstairs. No idea what a person in a wheelchair or just with poor mobility would do), asking for toast with our breakfast and not getting it. Staff borderline rude to us first morning. We were given a room directly above the bar and after two nights we ran out of the place home to get sleep. Paid extra for the 4 poster bed. You couldn't move an arm without the beds creaking waking us. To make matters worse first night was music which we could have got over as it finished reasonably early and was easy listening. Second night there was a wedding and they sounded like they were in the room with us and camped out on the stairwell outside the door. More exhausted now after what was supposed to be an enjoyable first family break away. After 13+ years in the industry myself I would Never put a couple with a young baby in or near where there would be such noise and also we had nothing to do with the function. Unless this hotel is not in the position to offer any quiet rooms. I thought that this would have been our first family break away to remember and possibly somewhere we could return to.

This hotel was elegant and comfortable. The room was very nice. However, the entire evening and morning the sounds of crows squawking never ceased. From the moment we arrived on the hotel grounds until we left, the crows never stopped. It did not allow us to sleep well at all. Aside from that, the hotel is fabulous. Hopefully they can do something about the plethora of crows surrounding the entire grounds.

Food pretty good, compliments to the chef! But some young waiting staff need some training. Wine list needs assistance! Excellent setting. Good I hear for golf. …

Had a wonderful experience in the day spa. My husband and I had a massage each and it was the best massage I've ever had. All the girls were lovely. Thank you very much.

Rooms good/very good; lounge & restaurants attention very good. Food good though probably requires a wider main course. Easter week-end was busy though staff handled it very well. We'll return for midweek breaks. Probably a More 4.5 out of 5, in m view.

Just back today from a 2 night stay in this hotel. After a very stressful & tiring couple of weeks I was really looking forward to switching off and having some much needed me time. To say the hotel met our expectations would be an understatement. From the lovely friendly greeting at reception, to our lovely room and all the staff being so friendly and helpful it was more than expected. Tracy the customer service manager was extremely friendly and helpful and offer some good suggestion when we had a slight problem with our room. I also treated myself to some treatments in your spa, David my therapist was fantastic. I felt so relaxed & pamper after the coupe of hours I practically floated back to our room. It's almost 7 years since we have stayed here last, there has been some great improvements in that time, and I can safely say it will not be that long till we come back again.

We stayed for a weekend and the dinner menu was identical both nights, which was very disappointing. People often spend 2 nights away and I think that the hotel should be very aware of this and change the dinner menu daily. The staff were very nice. The reception area smelled of smoke I think because of some wedding guests who didn't want to get wet. It is a lovely spot nonetheless and I wouldn't be opposed to going back.

The grounds are very nice as is the hotel but my rating refers to the bar food. We were seated in the bar near the coffee making area and the noise from the coffee machine and the bar was bad. The chowder was very good as was the brown bread. The Thai Red Curry left a lot to be desired at over €17. It was heavy on sauce and not a spicey one at that. It had 5 small pieces of chicken in it and a miniscule rice portion. Extra rice was given on request. The fish of the day with chips was good.

Rooms good/very good; lounge & restaurants attention very good. Food good. Easter week-end was busy though staff handled in very well. We'll return say midweek breaks. More 4.7 out of 5.

When an old stately house is refurbished as an hotel, it's difficult to get the balance right between keeping the old style but making it comfortable and cozy. Faithlegg House does this very well, with helpful staff (and free coffees due to a mistake on our part, which was a nice gesture). A little bit out of the way, but large grounds and parking areas make up for the closed in feeling of the narrow roads around it.

If you like plush and a little dated then you will love this place. Service good but sometimes under pressure.

Lovely house and hotel! Breakfasts are a must. Live music in the lounge was fantastic. Really well set out grounds a very high standard 4 star hotel. Take a car if wanting to head to Waterford as is a why out of town bit very quiet and peaceful. Good hotel for the golfer!

Beautiful hotel with great facilities. As it is set in mature wooded area crows are a bit of a nuisance (noise and fouling in the car park) but other than that a fabulous experience. Highly recommend it.

Wonderful place to stay. Hotel is in great location with wonderful grounds. Reception and bar has a nice old estate feel while restaurant and rooms are modern have everything you need. Food is amazing in both bar and restaurant! Staff are very friendly and professional.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Spa yesterday. The Hotel staff in general are just so friendly and accommodating. I was greeted at the door, assisted at Reception and directed to the Spa by three different staff members! Once at the Spa, one of the girls took me to the changing rooms and went through all the facilities. When I stepped into the leisure centre the staff there took over and were equally as nice. I had my treatment with Michaela who is honestly gifted! She goes above and beyond. You can see that she has such a genuine passion for people's well being which makes the entire experience extra special. The grounds are spectacular and you really get a sense of stepping out of reality and into relaxation!

Did enjoy our stay, spa is amazing and Jackie is a super talented therapist, best treatment ever. Pool and Jacuzzi area was also a highlight for us. Food was good but could do with been a little more modern. Room was v. Comfortable, a little disappointed on arrival as not the same luxury room as seen on website which is a little misleading. Overall v. Nice but maybe not as luxurious as we expected.

We got a deal online which made our stay good value. Really liked the jacuzzi, steam room, friendly staff. The food was good overall. The wine list was poor in terms of price and quality. The room was underwhelming but comfortable.

Nice and peaceful… nice staff… lovely location… BUT… make sure ur not in any hurry to eat… a bit slow or maybe a bit understaffed… AND… make sure not to be starving… portions on all levels are very small.

Staff were wonderful. Let alone were they helpful to visitors, but they were helpful towards each other and in very good form.

LOVED IT — Nostalgic atmosphere and grounds area a bonus. Dinner was outstanding and will play golf next time we visit. Loved the authentic rooms and vibe of the staff towards making the experience real.

A lovely quiet hotel. Beds comfortable, room clean and food was ok. They did try to make vegan food but it was a bit hit and miss with some dishes being okay and some just awful.

Portions of the food are a little on the small side for their price. Rooms/beds are very comfortable. Staff can be a little ignorant but mainly good. Plus, they charged me €3 for a glass of water! But if your around Waterford, you should pop in for a night or two, even though being charged for absolutely everything I would recommend a stay.

Just back from a wonderful 2 nite stay for our wedding anniversary, from start to finish it was an amazing experience, the rooms are so nice with an amazing shower and the comfiest bed ever, the food was amazing and the afternoon tea to die for, the best thing about the whole stay was the staff who were so helpful and friendly throughout our stay, I would highly recommend a stay here.

Room is very comfortable but some others need updating. Food excellent and staff very attentive and helpful. Very nice view from bedroom and this is a return visit this year.

Faithlegg is a nicely located hotel and only a few minutes drive from Waterford City. Although the grounds are quite nice, the hotel rooms themselves I found to be a little underwhelming and outdated, as is the leisure centre. However, the bar area with the big open fire is really nice. The food was pretty good, not amazing though. Overall, I would describe it as being decent value for money but I probably won't return.

It was not my ideal to have to use a portable ramp to get in with my wheelchair, but once in the staff was the best, friendly, courteous helpful, the best.

Any hotel is only as good as it's staff and the staff at Faithlegg are amongst the best I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Friendly and incredibly helpful at all times they made our stay in the fabulous hotel all the more relaxing and enjoyable. Special mention to the guys behind the residents bar. Highly recommended.
