Beautiful hotel, staff are so kind and helpful. I would give it 10 out of10

Have to commend the staff as they were fabulous, no complaints there but the quality of food leaves alot to be desired. We waited over 40 minute's for our meal's, and we both got chips that were literally inedible, no garnish on any of the dishes, very poor value for money. Would never visit again.

Very friendly staff are fantastic everyone of them. Beautiful hotel walking distance to shopping centre.

Love visiting this hotel, can’t wait to get back with the family a home away from home very spacious bedrooms for all the family. Great staff, Great atmosphere.

Couldn't thank this hotel enough we had a great stay and the staff were wonderful especially too our son who is autistic and has a obsession with hoovers unfortunately didn't get her name but she made his day buy printing pictures of Henry the hoover and some pictures too colour in he was over the moon 😊 thanks again girls and looking forward too staying again 😊

Fantastic Sunday roast, brilliant set up for the all Ireland, wonderful staff and super safe.

Loved our stay here. They made our special wedding day even more special with everything they done. All staff, managers an owners are fantastic food is absolutely gorgeous never ate so much but the food was that nice couldnt help ourselves from ordering. Room service was great an all staff polite and respectable and anything we ask for they went above an beyond to keep us happy,, would recommend everyone to go long or short stay any function or wedding do. Absolutely fantastic.

Recently had a family lunch for my son's communion in Dooleys, we were blown away by the service and attention from all the staff, we all felt well looked after and safe as all covid procedures were in place. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Thanks so much, could not recommend more xx.

Spotless Room. Loved the prosecco in the room. Nice Touch! Room was a little cold but we got a heater was perfect. Had dinner in hotel on 1st night and it was really tasty. Staff were so friendly and nice. Thank you. Would definetly come back. Great location to shops resturants etc.

Fabulous hotel staff are friendly there’s one waitress Andrea in the restaurant who is just brilliant. Not singling anyone out because they’ve all been brilliant and very
very welcoming. The food is good rooms are very warm turn your heater off and open the window is recommend, I asked for a fan when I went down for evening meal. It was there when I went back up. The entertainment in the bar area has been good, the atmosphere has been great would defiantly recommend. We came over for the rugby 2 bus loads in fact with our group. Match day we had a big screen a separate room with bar open DJ included. We had a fabulous day night, even tho wales lost to Irland. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome loved my stay. ❤️

Dooleys is a lovely hotel. Nice room and restaurant. Room was a bit dusty and also small for the price you pay. Very noisy from bar and function room but that stopped at a reasonable hour but then we had ppl talking outside hotel and in the room. Next to us. Like they were in the room with us it was so loud. Liked the security of the hotel that only guests can access the lift and stairs. Very good idea. Breakfast was lovely only for the fact coffee and toast came after we had finished. Not good for buggies with steps up to rooms. But housekeeping made cot nice and comfy for baby. Thank you for that. She looked so comfy. Room was unbearably warm. We had to turn roads down. Shower was lovely and strong. Not enough towels provided for a family room but then again we could have asked for more I'm sure. Very close to the city centre and a lovely view of the river. Checked in tired and left even more tired but that's the joys of staying in a hotel at a weekend and over xmas. The heat, breakfast and noise is my only complaint but otherwise a lovely hotel and the night concierge was a lovely guy. Big smile which was good to see. Might stay again but at a quieter time of year and dont need a buggy. Back is broken from lifting it up and down the steps.

The staff are so friendly and helpful so convenient to the amenities around very hand to get to hospital and shopping area love Dooley hotel would stay again.

Is too hot at night. Hard to sleep… opening the window is the best solution. Amazing customer service. Nice Breakfast ser up every morning.

Staff very friendly, food good. Great location for town and shopping, site seeing plenty of history. Also opposite bus station and walking distance from train station.

On our 10-day tour of Ireland we checked in at DOOLEY'S HOTEL. A beautiful house with interesting past, very large room with free strong W-LAN. At Dooleys Hotel my wife got the best potatoes in these 10 days. The dinner was very good, rich and was very well presented. The staff is despite the fully booked house very friendly and helpful. If we travel to Ireland again, we will prefer the # Dooley'sHotel.

I stayed at the hotel this weekend with 15 friends. Some of the staff were lovely even if the service was slow. Saturday morning at breakfast we had to ask for cups, get milk and sugar from other tables ourselves. No hot water for showers. We came back to hotel after night out to the rudest staff wouldn't even give us drink of water no mind a drink. The security guard was lovely. One of the girls is diabetic and had to beg for a bottle off 7 up. Would never stay here again even though the rooms are lovely.

We stayed here with the kids for our little holiday and from start to finish we cannot fault this hotel. The food and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Staff were extremely friendly yet professional and intrrected with the children brilliantly. The rooms are so spacious and clean and modern. The atmosphere is so nice and warm and welcoming. Staff in front office welcome you with a smile and great service. 10/10. We will deffo be back again ourselves alone and with the children too.

We had our daughters communion here they other day, it was amazing, all 40 off us enjoyed the whole day, food was top class, service was fantastic, staff couldn't do enough for us, they interacted with the kids, & our guests, they made everyone feel so welcomed, thank you for such a lovely, relaxin day, special thanks to the French man, the girl with the black hair, and the young lad.

Avoid at all costs this hotel is a joke staff treats customers like dirt and the management speaks down to it's customers.

Rooms are very outdated and very small not worth the Money at all, no iron provided.

Rooms basic but clean. The bathrooms need updating we didn't want to use the bath shower as they didn't seem hygienic. Reception staff not helpful at all. Our room (6 first floor) was over the back alley and there was extremely loud music going on very late, when I ask reception they said it's nothing to do with them. I had a small child with me and asked if it goes really late he said nothing he can do it'll stop at some point. As you can imagine any other hotel would've been more accomodating by where they place a child's room or offer to move you even an apology or some sympathy would have been something. It was 3.30 by the time it died down but there is also a casino with flashing neon lights right outside the window. Over all a terrible experience.

Hotel was clean. Beds comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Ate at their restaurant. Food was good and service was really good.

Overall, good hotel to stay. Services are pretty standard, nothing serious to complain about. Room numbering system makes no sense though, room 40 would be on floor 3, not floor 4. No signs to indicate which way to turn on the floor to the room, which is kinda bad, since the room numbers don't follow a standard counting.

Spacious room. Unfortunately had room to the backyard with loud fan. When the window is closed, okay. In the evening great atmosphere at the bar. Live Music by local musicians. Breakfast very good.

Dooley's Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Waterford. Because of that the layout is a bit disjointed. That only adds to the charm and should not deter you from staying here. It has an excellent restaurant and bar. It's convenient to the historic district with plenty of sights and restaurants it's a convenient walking distance from shopping, museums and the Waterford crystal factory and showroom.

Wonderful hotel! Upgraded carpet, repainted, clean & tidy. Better than what I expected. Dinner was delicious & it was quality and healthy! Slept well in this place.

I use this hotel a lot and it is wonderful. The food is excellent. The room I usually have has been refurbished to an excellent standard. The cushions on the bed are so elegant.

One of the best places on our Ireland trip. Nothing pretentious, excellent staff, very nice pub, and great restaurant with great prices. Wish we were staying longer.

Eating in the evening was very good. The room I had was okay too. Just until you got to the individual rooms was like an odyssey. Quite tricky.

A special thanks to the always friendly, naturally acting staff! Our extra wish was fulfilled without any problems. Delicious menu – Also for the eye a pleasure.
Minus point for the hotel's winding construction with stairs within the floor. But the staff will gladly help with luggage transport!

Visited here recently for just a quick evening snack. We sat down and almost immediately a staff member approached and enquired if we needed anything. We ordered and the food arrived without delay. Absolutely and exactly what we ordered. During meal members of staff asked if we required anything. When finished staff members chatted as they cleared the table. Excellent service and value for money. We will be back.

Enjoyed a short stay while driving around Ireland. Close proximity to lots in the downtown area, parking across the street (paid), friendly staff.

Okay so I have just stayed two nights in this hotel after coming from meath and I was discusted! There was a lot of things wrong with our room, 1 our TV remote barely worked, 2 rooms were not cleaned properly we had ring stains on counters from cups from last people who stayed in the room, our kettle had extremely bad stain from tea bags, the soap containers had gooey stuff on it, 3 room was extremely hot, there was no safe to keep your essentials in it, 4 the curtain pole was hanging out of the wall with large screws easily able to be harmful and not safe, 5 no room service for food after 8:30pm, 6 the bath had not been washed down you could see the dirt on it and the shower curtain had all black marks at the bottom of it and then lastely but not least we were awoken at 11 oclock on our first morning (we still had another night to stay) by a maid who which could see we had the do not disturb sign on the door, walking into our room! I was not pleased with my stay and all they could offer was free dinner which the service was bad and waitress was rude, I would stay away from this hotel not to mention when we had conversation with anyone from waterford they looked at us cluelessly asking why did we choose to stay there and advising us never to stay there again and I would 100% agree!

Had a nice few relaxing pints with a good friend and was served by Andy who was only to Happy to get whatever we required.

They have a fantastic carvery on Sunday. Very generous with their portions. Price very reasonably. Nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sunday here I come.

Just come back to Manchester after spending three nights at Dooley's. Great place and very reasonably priced. Food in the bar excellent and the service is first rate. Could not find any fault. When we come back to Waterford in the future (have family there) we will certainly be booking in there again.

Busy hotel in a good location to explore Waterford.

Stayed here on Valentine’s night with my boyfriend and had a very enjoyable stay, such a lovely hotel with really nice attentive staff. Had dinner in the restaurant and we were the only people in there for the majority of our meal and received such great service. Amazing value also for the overnight. The only negative I have is that the room was incredibly warm and we slept with the window open. But other than that overall it was a 5* stay.

Dooley's hotel management and staff are some of the most incredible people I have ever met. Our son Josh was actually born there in our room on 21st of December 2017. Tina, Mags, Colleen and the staff went way above and beyond the call of duty that day with the help and support they gave us all. If that wasn't enough they invited us down again this year for Josh's 1st birthday (which we gladly accepted) and made such a fuss of us for 2 nights, including tickets for the brilliant winterval festival. We are beyond thankful and grateful to them all and have definitely made friends for life. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anybody who intends to visit Waterford. Once again thank you everyone.

Friendly staff nice food bar is fab for a few beers all round good hotel that won't disappoint you.

Had a lovely lunch and a drink very good value have not stayed at the hotel but the do great b&b offers.

Excellent Hotel on Quay in Waterford!

Had a family function in the restaurant and the food was fantastic! Very reasonably priced for the quality of food we were served. Will definitely be returning!

Wonderful place. We had room 84 that faced the main road and the waterfront. At night the lights along the river were a sight to behold. The bed is comfortable and if you close the windows, the room is very quiet. The washrooms are clean and the white effect makes them stand out. The hotel also has some antique furniture that is a sight to behold. The food is excellent and served with style. The staff is cooperative and helpful. What else do you want in a hotel. Go for it, man.

Good food from the in-house Restaurant. The rooms are unfortunately not as clean as you want it, therefore only three stars!

I had to order fish as everything else was cooked with onions or garlic which I am allergic to. I had lemon sponge for dessert. Melt in the mouth yummy. Early bird menu, 2 courses for 17.50 including tea or coffee. Great value for money. Staff excellent. P. S would have given 5 stars if there had been more choice of main course.

Stayed here over the weekend and had the best time, food was fantastic and the staff well they couldnt do enough for me! I will be staying here every time I come to waterford!
