Just had a wonderful wkend in this Hotel, Hotel was just gorgeous, food amazing, views spectacular, Staff were so friendly and helpful especially Gavin looking after our breakfast.

We got married in ballyroe heights hotel on Friday 15th July and it was the most amazing day and the hotel staff could not do enough for us. We had to change dates during covid and any request was never an issue with the staff. From the day we booked the wedding up until the day of the wedding they were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend anyone getting married to consider Ballyroe for their wedding reception.

Was there for a friend’s wedding and everything was just perfect. Lovely meal and a fantastic ballroom. Great staff and a great ambience.

The food and service is always excellent at Ballyroe if your in Tralee I recommend you take a trip out to it just outside town on Ardfert road.

It’s a beautiful hotel, with amazing staff and great food.

Stayed in Ballyroe only for one night. It was the most relaxed stay in a hotel. My son is in College in Tralee so the next time I will be back for a longer stay Staff so friendly. Beautiful Hotel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Myself and my husband got married in ballyroe heights hotel last Friday and it was beyond any expectations we ever had. It was the most magical day and the hotel staff could not do enough for us. Any request was never an issue and from the day we booked the wedding to the day of the wedding, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommend anyone getting married to consider Ballyroe as an option for their wedding and if you're not considering them, you're missing out!

The food was absolutely delicious. Great service. I needed dairy free so had the lamb with fondant potato & veg. It was wonderful to have something so delicious & assured dairy free.

As part of a business trip, we stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. Extremely clean and excellent service throughout our stay. On our first night during dinner, we where served by an engaging and bright lady called Becky. What a credit she is to your hotel. She made our stay all the more enjoyable with her professional but fun outlook. Thank you Becky.

We had our son's christening in the Ballyroe Sunday and it was just amazing from start to finish. Each member of staff were so nice and friendly in each department. Food was just fantastic and the function room was just so spacious. I would like to thank each and every member of staff that made my boy's day special. We will be back John, Christina & Baby Ben.

Stayed here last year in July with our 2 kids. Staff so friendly and helpful, food was delicious, really good cooked breakfast in particular. Lovely views and nice outdoor seating area to take in them. Woukd definitely stay here again, very good value too, keep up the good work folks 👌.

What can we say got married in ballyroe last Friday even though during covid all the management and staff couldn't do enough for us thank ye all so much best hotel in Ireland from the moment we arrive to when we left the following day. The whole day was perfect and its all down to all members in ballyroe.

Very kind and well coming, so clean and keeping to all the guildlines in place, lovely staff and kind to children and the food was great.

Absolutely fab restaurant very family friendly and very reasonably priced … we had 6 children with us and our waiter Liam was nothing but patient and so polite checking on us numerous times… will definitely return.

Beautiful hotel staff are very nice food is also beautiful rooms are very clean wud come bac again and wud recommend the hotel to any one.

Very friendly and helpful staff working there couldn't say enough about them. The hotel itself is basic but spotless clean and has modern features. The food was delicious. Only fault I had was there was no pool.

Ballyroe heights hosted our Christmas party this year and did an amazing job. Wonderful room for a mid sized party, food was great, service brilliant — overall a pleasure to deal with!

We had our wedding reception here on 6th July. Couldn't recommend this hotel more… from start to finish they were absolutely fantastic… Patrick was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing was ever a bother… the food and service was fantastic on the day… couldn't of been better. We recently celebrated our Wedding Day at Ballyroe Heights Hotel and we could not have wished for better service from beginning to end. Working with Jonathan and his team was an absolute pleasure and we cannot thank Jonathan enough for the fantastic food provided on the day. So happy we decided to have our wedding reception in Ballyroe heights hotel.
The grounds and views are outstanding but it's the management and staff that made our day amazing and hassle free by making sure everything ran like clockwork, with delicious food and excellent service. Ballyroe heights hotel is at the top of my list of recommendations as nothing was a problem to them and open to all ideas or suggestions you might have.

This is a wonderful Hotel, lovely atmosphere, Staff are without a doubt excellent & very caring. It's a family run hotel & each of the staff members treat as there own. The food is excellent & the rooms are lovely. Great bar & restaurant with a massive view. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

Stayed for one night, we asked if there is anything that could be done with the bathroom fan. They assured us they will switch it off and they didn't. Breakfast was ok, full Irish as you can get anywhere. Dinner in the restaurant was just amazing! Corridor didn't give us nice impression while walking to our room for the first time… a lot of cobwebs… however the room and bathroom were really clean! We would go back.

The accommodations were middle of the road. The shower was impossible between terrible pressure and difficulty with getting any hot water. On the upside the location was wonderful. The staff were delightful, professional, and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant was also very good.

Staying in the banna beach resort for a family holiday and went to ballyroe heights for dinner with 4 adults and 4 children and have to say couldnt recomend it enough. We were here 2 years ago the last time we came on holidays and were hopefull our experience would be just as good which it didn't disappoint. The friendly atmosphere as soon as you enter the bar is always a great start. The interaction from the girls with the children is so nice. As for the food everything was amazing. The menu is simple but lovely and it was so nice to see a kids menu with proper food on it not just chicken nuggets and chips. Well deserved 5 stars from us.

Lovely staff and in a very scenic location. However, the last few times we ate here we found the food rather lacking. The portion sizes have been reduced and not in a good way. Ballyroe was always renowned for its high quality food. We had our wedding here back in 2012, had a fantastic day there and everyone still talks about the fabulous meal there. However, lately the food has been disappointing. We will give it a try again because it is a nice place with very friendly staff but let's hope they get a new chef.

Went to a wedding, expected the usual service you get with every wedding. Easily the best food and staff of any large event I've been to. A very in unassuming place to arrive to but they put on a great show, couldn't fault them. Don't know what it's like to stay there, just there for the evening.

Great hotel, unfortunately the service is totally mies with groups. In the restaurant and for the reception, on the other hand, 5 stars. My rating is based on dinner and breakfast service. There should be an urgent need for tutoring.

The rooms are clean & well equipped! The restaurant is outstanding! Only the baths are typical of Ireland/England with crappy shower heads equipped with bathtubs, from which no sensible beam comes!

This hotel is located about 4 miles outside Tralee. It situated in Ballyroe and looks over the majestic Tralee Bay. I was here for a meal in the bar area. The food was lovely and I couldn't fault it. A reasonable price also. The only thing that docks a mark for me was the service. Staff were kinda disinterested and seemed unfriendly. Probably because it was a busy time but a small bit of conversation is always a nice way to set the mood of a place. Overall great food and at a good price!

If you are staying in the back rooms in the basement of the hotel, the Wi-Fi is hardly available. A must today! No German TV programs. Breakfast very poor!

Love this hotel cant say enough about the view but the staff cant do enough for you all are so nice and helpful cant falt the bar food or the breakfast the bedroom I was in was spotless and comfortably my only complaint would be that the bed room was to warm found it hard to sleep especially when the bed was so comfortable otherwise thank you for a very present nights stay.

Lovely hotel lovely views but if you don't drive its a taxi in and out to the town€15 each way. Otherwise great stay staff were brilliant.

Stayed there midweek. Had a fantastic meal… brilliant service. Beautiful clean room. Also great breakfast and late check-out. Would highly recommend it.

We had dinner in the Bar, it was Fab, really quick and lovely staff! Nice few Gluten free options available too.

I want to thank the staff there at ballyroe, came early for my mother's Day meal with the family, it was beautiful, 5 stars all the way, also came from Limerick, it was worth the journey, thanks again Martina o Donnell & family ☕

What can I say we had our wedding reception here last Friday absolutely outstanding. Jonathan, Mike thank ye so much for so a great day top wedding venue. Food was outstanding the room itself was amazing. Claire in reception was so helpful. Jonathan you are so lucky with staff you have there all outstanding. Would highly recommend it. 5 star treatment we got thank ye so much for everything.

Beautiful place to stay with amazing friendly staff. Good food and beer at responsibly prices. Not to far from tralee town centre. Ideally suited for people willing to travel to local attractions.

I normally enjoy my time here as I was growing up and attending different events but have not visited it in a few Years. I went there a few weeks ago and the Sunday lunch menu did not cater for my dietary requirements. I am vegan and despite the "main" menu starting in half and hour the waitress told me that the chef was unable to make me anything without animal products. I asked her could she ask the chef if he could make me a stirfry from the main menu as it would be available in a half hour anyway and she said she would check and see. She then came out and said this was possible and I asked her to please confirm that the food would contain no dairy or animal products (adhering to vegan diet). She literally said that the chef was becoming annoyed with her for asking these things which was very unprofessional in my opinion. I have worked in waitressing before and have been in customer service for a long time and she made me feel like I was bothering her for simply asking if a simply stir fry could be made up for me. The chef said he could make it for me which I was grateful but when it came out it had honey in it which is an animal product and not vegan! I felt so upset and flustered as well as embarrassed in front of my friends. For a hotel/restaurant that has such high ratings I'm so surprised that it has not kept with the times as vegan is something that is becoming a lot more common. This experience truly left me with a negative view on Ballyroe.

Ballyroe Heights Hotel is amazing. From arrival to departure the staff could not do enough for us… nothing was too much trouble. We attended a wedding here and can say that attention to detail was second to none. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back. Thank you to everyone involved in the running of this wonderful hotel.

Staff were really great. Can't fault then in the slightest. The wedding reception we went to was also well managed. Just thought the rooms didn't do the staff justice. Pointless small TV on a large wall looked very odd, shower head arm so shirt I was passed against the wall using it, tiny towels. Just seemed easy things to fix. Details people.

What a beautiful hotel, couldn't recommend it enough, food was fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for us, room was beautiful with loads of space we had 2 kids with us and they both had a bed each, plenty of towels in the room and absolutely spotless everywhere in the hotel, well run hotel with wonderful staffwill defiantly be making a return visit brilliant for a family holiday.

I loved the restaurant : good food with good music and beautiful views on the landscape. The rions were cool too.

Everything good, hotel in Norma, breakfast however miserable and little little European, I would say for nothing, pity. Friendly staff and nice area. I only wonder if whoever installed the sink faucets had smoked something just before. Try X believe.

Great Hotel, very professional and friendly staff. My room was clean and perfect for a night's stay. We ate in the bar Restaurant and again staff superb friendly and still professional. Food was of high standard and good portions. Will use again and recommend.

Hear from the Sunday to the Friday with Glentons. Is a beautiful hotel. Staff couldnt do enough for us and all of them so friendly. Nothing was a bother. The 4 course meal in the evenings was amazing also the breakfasts. The staff work very hard to attend the needs of the guests and always smiling and little things asking you how ur day was after excursions. Me and my boyfriend will be definetely returning. I would recommend this beautiful hotel. Should be rated a 4*. It is our 1st visit to the South we will be back. Loved everything about the Hotel and the places we visited.
