As usual our stay was amazing, I have stayed at this hotel multiple times Through out the years as it is in the best location for where ever you would like to go and always The service is marvelous especially from the bar man I can’t remember his name but he is the man, (sorry if it insults you) With the red ginger hair the most well mannered, great humored, friendly bar man that Iv ever met and Iv worked in the industry for many years As a bar woman my self and my god this hotel is very lucky to have him As an employee, he makes guests feel like there at home in there local but with a higher class it’s fantastic! Complete 5 star rating highly recommend.

Absolutely disgusted that I have to spend another two nights in this kip. I respect the staff who are trying their best to help us but we have had a nightmare since checking in. Go outside and experience the real Kilarney because the management here don’t know what that is. Embarrassed from the start when room was downgraded to a smaller room because room we were promised wasn’t ready despite paying five days in advance in full and told them we would be checking in at almost six in the evening. Breakfast order for room went missing and then was miraculously found and arrived over an hour late. We went around ring of Kerry for day and arrived back at half 8 to find breakfast tray in room and no cleaning done. We missed our dinner booking as a result in another restaurant close by and were resorted to kebab trays in room. Won’t be caught dead in here again.

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious.

I loved my two night stay! The breakfast was amazing, and the breakfast staff were exceptional. The full Irish is worth experiencing. I enjoyed walking around the downtown area to. Enjoyed the town and the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay from Friday until Monday the staff were very friendly and beautiful food we loved our stay looking forward to visiting again.

Just spent three nights at the Eviston House Hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it. The rooms were very clean and roomy and the staff were extremely helpful especially the night porter.

Very well-maintained downtown hotel, nice rooms. On the ground floor you will find a large typical restaurant with live music every night.

We had top notch service! Staff were friendly and very hardworking. Rooms were comfortable. The pub and restaurant had good food and entertainment. A special THANKS to Mark.

Lovely lively hotel. Really central. Rooms clean. Staff really friendly. Bit disappointed with breakfast. Nothing wrong with the food but got a menu the first morning and second and third mornings hit mad rush of the tour groups staying in hotel and ended up getting the end of their breakfast buffets!

Clean hotel and perfect for a stay of a few days. However, be prepared for noisy environment during the night. Also rooms very hot and stuff but that was probably due to the unusual warm weather.

Our reservation was forgotten, the service was slow and unfriendly. Eternal waiting times were the order of the day. The food just isn't delicious. The only thing that is delicious is the beer. But there is not much that can be done wrong. Really bad.

Really great place and the people were very kind. I only dropped a star because the pipes made really loud noises during the middle of the night and woke us and our neighbors up. Can't really be helped but it was pretty loud. Everything else was great!

A friendly hotel in the heart of Killarney, the Eviston house has large rooms, amazing water pressure, and is very close to dozens of eating and drinking options. The rooms are not air conditioned, but most of the time this is not an issue. Fans are available from the front desk, which we used. The pub on the main floor offered great live music in the evenings, and the bar was available for ice throughout the day. Breakfast options on the 1st floor above grade. Check in was quick and friendly. It is a sprawling hotel, so it may be a small hike to your room. Would stay there again!

Beautiful Hotel in one of the coolest towns in Ireland. They were very welcoming and we had a great time. I needed Ice for a sprained ankle and they supplied it free from the bar which was a big help. Great place!

A good, central location with helpful staff; however, be advised and read reviews such as those on Trip Advisor. For me, this trip brought to light why it’s better to stay slightly outside the town as Killarney can be rough at night especially at the weekends.

Would not recommend. Room was very basic, old-fashioned, small. Breakfast was average but small.

Where to start. The place is sheds-ville. You have to walk through a clapped out nightclub from the car park. It's dank and dark. Got to the room but needed a cut lunch to get there. Through maze of dark and long corridors which seem to go on for miles. Got to the first room. Toilet buttons fell off the wall as soon as we tried to use it. Tiles were cracked all over the place. Lots of gap filled holes in tiles from where fixtures had been removed. Bath had beading around the sides to stop water going down it but it would not work anyway. Room was musty and smelly. Got a different room allocated. This one was even further away than the last one. At least the bathroom tiles were not cracked. Bed was knackered. Got up the next day. No hot water so ended up with a cold shower. Reception said they would send an engineer but never did. Didn't get any reduction on the room rate to compensate. Staff didn't seem to care and it was as if they knew the hotel was knackered and they accepted this would annoy some customers as a result. Well it worked. This is a tired, old, under invested and under resourced hotel which is made to look better in the photos that it appears. Don't be fooled by it. The hotel is old, tired and expensive and you'd get far better value at the hotels around town or just outside town.

Excellent few days there. Clean comfortable. Danny Mann Pub great can't wait to go back.

Our stay at the Eviston House Hotel was really nice. The staff were really nice, the room was absolutely decent. Sadly, the walls are pretty thin which means you'll hear the neighbours. The breakfast is pretty good as well, you can get some hot food as well as cereals and toast. Even as a vegan eater, you'll find something here. Their pub "The Danny Man" serves a vegan pie as well which is very tasty and can be recommended. It's close to the city centre.

Me and my wife stayed for a week. Very friendly staff and a very warm welcome. Excellent service and meals and entertainment would recommend it too anyone also great places too vist.

Large room and bathroom, varied and quality breakfast. Excellent location Friendly staff. I don't put 5 stars as the Wi-Fi signal in the room is poor, not so at the front desk.

The hotel is located in the center. We stayed a Saturday night and it was full. In front of our room was a fast food shop so when all the pubs closed, people gathered around the shop and we could heard all the noise. If you are looking for a quiet place, this hotel is not recommend it. However, if you are looking for a central location, it is recommend it. The entrance to the National Park is close, as well as the shops. The receptionist was nice and the bed was comfortable. We didn't have breakfast included.

Stayed here last night, had a bad experience. The tone was set at the reception with a very rude staff member who to my opinion did not want to help us at all. Asked for a special request as it was Valentines day and only got a upgrade with the room which was completely standard. Also I could not order a drink to the room and when on the phone to ask if they did low and behold it was a very rude no and goodbye reply from who was at reception. Also we were told the lift was broken so had to lift our bags up two floors which was a hindrance. Overall because of this I will not be going back here.

Lovely staff, great breakfast. Room was small but very comfortable and warm. Nice, clean bathroom with a really good shower! Would stay here again and would recommend to a friend.

Stayed for new years and definitely will be returning… The night porter eddies went above and beyond to accommodate us he very helpful as my partner was very sick and eddies came with medication and checked in to see was every thing ok which I was very grateful for. Thank you Eddies look forward to seeing you again soon.

Dated a fair bit really, just selling the Kerry blarney no parking but staff are ok… ish it's Kerry they just want a quick buck.

Very nice hotel and extremely friendly staff. Would certainly visit this hotel again in the future. The beds were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Centrally located so that a car is not needed once you are checked in.

Rooms need to be upgraded — they look a bit tired. Street noise prevents a good night's sleep.

Had lunch in the bar, food was lovely and the staff were friendly. You should give this place a try you wont be sorry.

I stayed for two nights in half board at the end of July spacious rooms but not too clean, I found a sock close to the nightstand and it was still there when I left, the kettle to brew coffee contained the coffee residues of the previous guests. Typical Irish breakfast but a little poor dinner but the tables are without tablecloths so the environment becomes depressing. I went out in the morning at 6.00 for jogging and I found 4 guests sitting in the hallway drinking beer. Although the hotel is central I will not stay here again.

It's a fab hotel the staff are lovely best place to stay in killarney good shows on at the danny Mac must see is Michael Kennedy and his dad they are fab.

Badly in need of updating. This was our 4th stop on a tour of Ireland and the most expensive and the worst. We were supposedly given a deluxe room, I would hate to see the standard. The toilet was positioned such that had to sit at an angle. The bathroom corners and bath had evidently had issues as they had tried to repair it with beading and silicon the outcome of which was terrible. Although we do not rely on the complimentary toiletries there was a better more meaningful selection at the B&B the previous night. I know you do expect hot water out of the hot tap but should not be so hot that there is a danger of being scalded. There was no in-room guide showing facilities of hotel, time of breakfasts etc. We were advised the best route to the room but this was tortuous, exit back of hotel into car park, enter lift, press 3 for room starting with 2. Exit the lift, trek through the myriad of corridors, down stairs and finally arrive at room. If take lift from front house press button 2, yay, trek through the myriad of corridors and finally arrive at room. Being in my 60s and travelled all over the world this hotel definitely ranks amongst those of the worst.

Stayed for the celebrations of the Munster final. Perfect central location. Comfortable rooms. Does what it says on the tin!

Comfortable, clean, well soundproofed.
Full Center and close parking (the one of the tourist office, attention in the street is paying). Friendly and smiling staff. What more can I ask for a price that remains accessible?

Stayed there Saturday night. Comfortable stay, beds are a tad small but ok. Room was bright, view wasn't that good facing to the rear of the hotel onto the roof. Music next door in the Danny Man. There was a bit of a rumpus in the early hours of Sunday morning on our floor that lasted for some time. No one from the hotel came to resolve this. I'm sure that it was a one off.
Would I stay there again, yes I would. €149 for the night, a bit pricey but you are in killarney.

Great place. We stopped over for lunch on our day tour and had fantastic tasting beef roast and mash with nice n fresh vegetables for lunch and a pint of wow Guinness each. The staff were friendly, yet professional and efficient in their customer service, I even charged my mobile while we had lunch. Thank you,. The ambience is excellent with a fire in the fireplace, and nice lighting. Will stay there on next visit.

Staff were lovely and friendly, food was amazing, rooms were nice but too warm, a bit noisy at times, great location central to everything but car park is terrible, its tiny and its pot luck as to weather to get a space or not.

Lively hotel, good bar. Clean, good size rooms. Limited. Parking if its busy.

4 star No! more like 3 star. Bedrooms very small, dark and small opening windows so hot. Food served as coach tour was poor. We heard one lady saying a similar thing in Reception, the staff were very accommodating and offered another room, comment from the manager was 'she should open a window' he obviously didn't realise we were sitting close by. This is one to miss.

Small rooms. Clean but nothing particularly nice. Nice location right in the middle of downtown as the best thing I can say. Our room overlooked a noisy alley with lots of conversations waking us up in the middle of the night. Advertised car park but the lot had about 5 spots and all were full before arriving so we had to pay for a spot in the public lot and carry luggage 3 blocks.

Dinner is good but breakfast not much, hygiene isn't great but the staff is still available.

Bedroom was fine but the bar area is need of refurbishment very outdated.

Was not great value for monie. Rooms nice service was good after havin to pointout that brecfast was not included in the 75 euro pernite rooms. But the staff redeemed themselves buy sending brecfast to the room. So service was good.
