Gormagh

We loved staying with Anne at Gormagh B&B. She is such a lovely person and we had a few nice, long conversations. Her house is cozy and our room was clean and inviting. Breakfast was good and she even set us up with take away breakfast the morning we had to leave at 5am for the airport. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting this area.

Stayed just one night with Anne and so wish we had more time for a longer stay. Her home is so cute and very comfortable, the grounds are natural and gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious. But the best part of our stay was Annes' company and conversation at breakfast. She is super friendly and funny and I enjoyed her. When and if I get back to Ireland I will absolutely be sure to stay at Gormagh and for more than one night.

This is a beautiful B&B presided over by the wonderful Anne O'Brien. The rooms are bright and comfortable, the food is great, and the service is precious. The location is close to town but out in the country where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and have a pleasant walk along a country road. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and will return.

Anne is the most welcome host we ever had. She was always in for a chat and some good recommendations. Her breakfast was amazing and the rooms are so cozy. We would recommend everyone in the neighbourhood to book a night or two and just relax.

Gormagh Bed & Breakfast was the cherry on top to conclude our fabulous trip to Ireland. My fiance and I got engaged the night before and traveled to Tullamore for the distillery tour and to eat at The Blue Apron (VERY GOOD! ). Anne welcomed us warmly and celebrated our engagement joyfully. She provided wonderful recommendations for things to do in town and shared lovely stories of past visitors and Irish culture. She is a true gem. We will be back to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! All our love to you, Anne.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gormagh B&B.
Anne was warm and friendly. We arrived early, she set us up in our room right away.
She gave us several suggestions for dinner in Tullamore.
Our room was spacious, well furnished, with luxurious linens.
The beds were very comfortable.
The bathroom was spacious with excellent water pressure.
Breakfast was lovely, perfectly cooked, and presented.
Gormagh B&B is the quintesenntial Irish B&B.

Anne was the most welcoming host. It was our first B+B stay after spending a few days in Dublin. Lilly (the pet donkey) greeted us as we drove up the long driveway to the house. Anne welcomed us as if we were family. After settling in, we talked over tea and breads. We took a drive and visited downtown Tullamore. We let Anne know that we needed to rise early the following day to catch the Ferry in Doolin. She had an awesome breakfast ready for us at 6:30 AM. Turns out that I left my Claddagh ring behind when we left that morning. Anne located it for us, and sent it home to the States with a beautiful card. I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay at Gormagh. Thank you again Anne! Sincerely John Halloran.
