Gormanston Park Hostel

Gormanston Park are a disgrace. They've closed this amenity to the local people and stopped the local soccer club Stamullen FC from using the grounds even when they were paying through the nose for it and had to reseed the pitches themselves. With no other accessible green space in the area they've essentially put the club's future at risk for 100s local children. All they're interested in is lining their own pockets and have shown a complete disregard for the surrounding community.

Stayed here for 2 nights with 60+ others in our party. The accommodation is basic, but clean, warm and good shower facilities. The food and staff were nothing short of brilliant. The staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, cannot fault it.

Nice and quiet location very near Dublin. No stress around here.

We had 2 large student groups at Gormanston this week and it is one of the best facilities for groups that I have experienced. Great facilities, fantastic food and friendly, helpful staff. Thanks for everything — we will be back!

Spent the weekend here on a team bonding session on August 3rd and 4th. Had a very good experience. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Special word of thanks to Celine and head chef. Food was high quality and accommodation basic but clean. Football pitches are to a high standard and indoor complex is fantastic. It would be great to see the swimming pool fixed and its a shame that the golf course is only a footgolf course nowadays. Overall though, couldnt reccommend Gormanston high enough as a team bonding venue.

I went to the Footgolf today for a game with a friend. The course was really bad. There was no signs for holes or tee boxes. It was a nightmare trying to figure out where to go or what hole to play. Some flags were not even in. Really bad organised and could be a lot better.

Had our inline hockey playoffs here last week. Accommodation was perfect for what we needed and staff were superb!

We attended a cheerleading competition stayed 1 night rooms were clean and spacious, food was lovely and staff were very friendly hopefully be back next year.

It was such a beautiful and magical place… honestly! the service was great, the Staff was amazing and very helpful, the security was tight and standby for help. Went for my first footgolf game and had lots of fun. The ground were well kept and the balls provided were good quality. The only issue was understanding where to pay and start playing. There was nobody at the 'hut' at the start so we needed to ask directions and drive across the campus to find the reception and then around the one way system, out to the main road and back to the start of the course. Also, a map of the course would be a good idea on the score card. Thee are relatively small and the experience was very good overall.

It's great place for a little walk, there is a foot golf as well. Amazing tunnel will make you feel like in Dark Hedges.

Not only wonderful place but we heard very interesting legend about this LARGE GROUP ACCOMMODATION WITH EXCELLENT SPORTS, TRAINING FOR & EVENTS FACILITIES .

Excellent place staff are fantastic and the food was brilliant.

Great for a weekend stay very friendly great place for the kids lots to do great food plus a very nice bar down the road live football music bingo two pool tables & darts great for a night out great for sporting groups.

Very nice and courteous staff. Very helpful staff. Good food. The place is like a one star resort for group retreat, camp or conference. Used to be a boarding school. The boarding facilities now refurbished and managed as leisure/ accommodation facility separate from the school. Some parts still under renovation while we were there. Very good sport facilities for youths and adults.

The park is in college grounds and dates back over 200 years. It has a 9 hole golf course, football pitches and a river running through.

Not what we expected! Advertised as gomanston park hotel, its not! No TV & no kettle no bar, no phone in room, no cooked breakfast room was clean. Its a students leisure place, thats all. Thinking we were going to a hotel & thinking we will be having dinner in hotel nothing like it at all! Very disappointing had to walk up road to bar & get dinner which was lovely.

Absolutely love the place. The footgolf course is very good and there is also alot more to do. The staff are brilliant too.
