Myself and my Cousin stayed here on Sunday night. We got the shop, dine and stay package. Every member of staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was so comfortable and had everything we needed. We had dinner in the gallops restaurant, again excellent food and service. Also great choice for breakfast. We both would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely stay again.

Food is amazing. Very impressed with vegan menu. Very good value and top class service. Definitely would recommend. Husband enjoyed his meal also. For myself as vegan it's very hard to find nice restaurant. Definitely we will be returning ❤️ Thanks a lot.

Can honestly say our stay here was amazing beautiful room food was amazing. Kelly was so helpful right through the stay and her staff are a credit to her will definitely be back.

Just back from a shop & stay night in this amazing hotel everything was absolutely first class the staff so helpful & pleasant the evening meal & breakfast was delicious and our room was so so comfy & cosy this was our second stay and we will definitely be back … thanks guys ❤️

Great hotel! Clean, modern, fantastic 3 course dinner and friendly staff. Great breakfast! It’s a very short pleasant walk to Kildare shopping village. Will definitely come back to stay here again!

Just back from overnight stay at Kildare House Hotel, what a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and helpful, we had lunch evening meal and breakfast and the food was excellent! We will definitely be back. Can't rate this hotel highly enough, 5 stars 👏👏

We just had the most delicious take away dinner from Kildare House Hotel. Best lockdown meal we have had from a restaurant and the best value by far. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, will definitely be back again.

The food in Kildare house hotel is just fab 5 star food.

Had breakfast outside today would highly recommend it, was not cold at all. Breakfast was delicious and great value. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Food and service was amazing. Hubby had Fish and chip. Have to say they where nicest I have ever had. I got Chicken vol au vent and it was also beautiful and fresh. Cant wait ti be that direction again as I will definitely be stopping for food.

Cute hotel but there was a woman sounding like she was being murdered outside the room so hope she's ok now, Location was handy too.

Had dinner here at the weekend for our girly xmas night out, our food was piping hot and delicious! The xmas menu is fab! Will definitely be back, tip top!

Was booked in to stay there tonight — 07.09.19. Yes, the staff were friendly, and yes the bar area looked nice but as soon as went up the stairs to our room my opinion quickly changed. Awful floors, and tired worn walls, the room was tired, scruffy and smelly. The bathroom was horrible and smelled. The bed had marks on it. One of the windows didn't open and when we tried to leave the room we couldn't get the lock to turn. Needless to say I got a full refund and we came back home. Faulty Towers came to mind. We were so disappointed. We had travelled from Wexford! We were also told that our room was the superior room… there are no words!

It's one of the old traditional buildings in Kildare town it's a fantastic Hotel friendly staff and beautiful surroundings.

We had our wedding here and it was the best day ever, Martian and Kelly could not do enough for us and the staff were brilliant, they made sure we had everything we needed, the lay out in the ballroom was magic and food was percent, they made our day so special, I would highly recommend the Kildare House hotel for a wedding or even for a nice meal.

I had breakfast and dinner on Sunday. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. I would recommend this to place for dining on the way to and from Dublin.

Such a warm welcome every time we go here. Food is outstanding and they change the menu up every now and then… but if you still want your favourite they will look after you.

Just spent the afternoon @ the kildare house hotel had a family meal booked for 21 people. What a fantastic experience we couldn't have asked for better service with the food being top notch & the staff where very very helpful. We would have zero hesitation recommending the hotel for ANY occasion. Thank you, great work lads. From the Daly/Stafford family's.

Food here is fabulous with very generous sized portions. Staff are really lovely, do helpful and friendly. The rooms look nice and are very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable! Only complaints are that the water in the shower was cold! And it's really really noisy. I could hear everything that went on in the room next to mine and the windows are draughty so could hear all the traffic on the street so didn't sleep very well despite the comfy bed.

Went into the bar for a quick bite for lunch. Nice sandwich, good staff, did not have to ask for sauces etc. Club sandwich came with chips. Very pleasant interior, comfortable. I did not eat anything else so cannot comment. Sandwich very good though.

A perfect spot if you like comfy and quaint; surrounded by friendly neighbours everywhere. Great staff and has a 'your second home' feel to it. Ask and they shall do everything they can to make it happen. A great place to stay.

A lovely place to have dinner on a Sunday evening. The staff are brilliant and the standard off food is excellent. We have been a few times and each time as good as the last. Great value for the 3 course option and child friendly.

We booked a meal, the Valentine's special. It was amazing. We got an amazing 4 course meal with a bottle of house wine included. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were so friendly and so welcoming. We were meant to have a glass of prosecco on arrival but I was too quick to order the wine. But the staff gave us a drink of our choosing after the meal to compensate for my own error! Thanks guys. The food was beyond expectation in flavour and presentation. Hats off to the chefs who obviously put a lot of time and thought into the menu. This is my new favourite restaurant. See you all soon.

Great food, good service. Parking at the door, and nice interior. Maybe a little quiet at the time we visited (2:30pm Sunday)

This place was very close go the outlet … downstairs was lovely … rooms upstairs need updating but are very clean… the food was excellent and the staff very friendly.

We held our mother's birthday dinner here on Jan 1st 2018. We had a lovely dinner, food was lovely and staff were excellent. Would heartily recommend this venue.

We just did the shop, dine and stay package here. There were 5 of us and we had the nicest time. The staff were so friendly and kind. The food was delicious. Would totally recommend it.

Casual dining and bar. Fairly good menu cheap prices. Service slow but not bad over all. Parking outside however busy weekend you may go for on street parking.

Great venue. I hired the ball room for a party and it looked phenomenal. Very special. The whole place is spotless and there is always a great atmosphere. The food for the party was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. I found the staff very friendly and they couldn't have been nicer to a stressed me trying to organize a surprise party. A special mention to Martin who went above and beyond to make our night special. The staff even got involved in getting my partner to the surprise. I can't thank them enough. We are very lucky to have such an amazing venue in the town.

Excellent food basic hotel rooms clean and tidy.

I been for Sunday lunch a few times since it re opened and was very impressed but unfortunately yesterday I was a little disappointed. One of my daughters ordered fresh homemade cod goujons and chips, she'd had them before and loved them but yesterday they were far from fresh. They were packet fish fingers and fries. My other daughter only wanted a basket of chunky chips which were lovely but pricey at €4.50 for around 10 chips. A total of €26.50 for 1 pasta main, fish fingers and chips a basket of chips and water.

Pity that it is not used more, only bar open is in the restaurant, ballroom is tastefully decorated and well laid out. Has great potential.

The food was amazing but the service was a little slow.

We had a function at home for 80 people. Kildare House Hotel provided the catering. Well, we were so impressed with the standard of the food and the professionalism of the team from Kildare House Hotel that it surpassed all our expectations. We handed over the event to Kildare House Hotel and they thought of everything. We will be using them for all future events and so will many of our friends. Thank you so much Martin, Kelly and the team that made it all happen so seamlessly.

Beautiful hotel very friendly staff. We just stayed overnight the room was very spacious and very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant and a few drinks all top quality. Emmer was very nice made us feel very welcome. Looking forward to breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Will stay again. Also 5 minuets walk to the kildare shopping village. Joan Hill.

We got married here on the 28th April 2017.5* is under rating this hotel. From booking the wedding till a few days after, the staff and management seriously could not do enough for us. Always checking in to see if we needed anything done, they went above and beyond to reach my requests for our day. Anything I ever asked was never a problem and was always sorted for us. On the day of the wedding, we couldn't have been put more at ease and made feel so relaxed. We didn't have to worry about anything on the day as they ran the whole day so perfectly. The meal was suburb and couldn't fault one thing about it everything tasted and looked amazing on the plates. Martin (chef) did a fabulous job. Our guests are still talking about how fabulous the whole day was and how beautiful the hotel is. If your ever thinking about getting married here then seriously think no more as Martin will make sure your day will be the best day of your life…! I really cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you to Martin, Laury and all the staff for truly make Mark and I's day the best of our lives and one to truly remember.

Had to park down side street as no parking spaces, due to christening. On arrival no one was at the reception area. Waited for 4 or 5 mins until a member of staff walked past us and asked were we ok! Reception area untidy and not as per pictures on Facebook. Room ok but bathroom not to my standard of cleanliness. Shower/ bath function did not work (20 mins to get a bath), thus half bath half shower at the same time. Had a stay and dine deal so went for dinner and meal was ok, best bit of stay if had to pin point positives. Very slow service due to been so busy. Dessert was awful. Went back to room to find we were above a 90's Disco / rave (Saturday night 29th April, 17) below our room (107). Wife pregnant and an area was also below our room for the club/ party so the loud conversation/ shouting/ banter was not as we had expected after our day. Companied and told it will continue to 1.30am. No rooms available to swap! Great place if your out partying and coming back at 1.45 once it becomes civilised so you can enjoy the room facilities and sleep. Other wise not a good place to shop and dine in deal as advertised. As you are wanting to relax after a hectic day in Kildare. Will not be back.

I had my daughters christening party there and it was the worst set up, customer service, food, dirty drink glasses and management I've come across in my life. I was so upset over it as it was expensive and thought I'd get better service and quality for the money rather than the local publicans in the town, but I was completely wrong. Everything I paid for never happened, food for 30 people (more like 15) which consisted in me asking for more as there was a minimum amount on each platter, five of my relations ended up paying for their own food. There was no bar staff present when ordering drinks, the smoking area was out the back where there was rubbish, bottle banks and broken glass on the ground. We were asked to leave at 7pm as they were closing the bar. The hotel manager admitted everything we were saying was true and their will be consequences for the staff involved. One got fired because of the treatment we got. But there was no sign of them making things right with the customers. Overall I would class this so called hotel as a total kip and to everyone out there, be warned. I'd never step inside those doors again and neither will my family.
