We had our wedding here on 01st July 2022 and it was amazing. From the moment we visited our 1st wedding fair at the Westgrove we knew it was the place for us but unfortunately due to covid we had to hold out longer than planned. But it was worth the wait. Everything was amazing, the venue, the ceremony room, the function room, the food, the staff, the rooms. Couldn't fault a thing. Lorna went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect for us and it really was. Looking forward to visiting again. 100% recommend the venue for any future couples. Thank you for everything. Had a great time at Westgrove and it was even better when Rangers beat Celtic, great hotel and lovely staff.

I visited the bar with a friend today for coffee and cake. The staff on duty were fantastic — very efficient around public health measures and extremely friendly. The desserts were delicious and great value. Overall this was a very positive experience — we felt safe and well looked after. Thanks for the excellent customer service that made this Christmas outing a real pleasure. We'll definitely be back.

The manager at this facility us a disgrace. He was very aggressive to the kids attending the debs. I would understand if they were rude or drunk etc but they were not.
My don & his friends previously booked a room & were not allowed to stay because they attended the debs. They were treated like second class citizens and Publically humiliated. The Hotel quoted that they had the right to refuse and that it was their policy. The boys read the hotel policy while they were there and it is not on their policy. They can only evoke their rights if its Legally right. Ageism is not right. Discriminatiom is not right. Having an agressive Manager representing your facility is insane. The kids at 19 were more intelligent than he was. He could not handle that and got aggressive with them. I rang and spoke to him myself and found him to be aggressive on the phone, So much so that another manager took over his call to me. I am a diplomatic person who very rarely complains. This I could not let go.
They shouldn't have provided a debs service if they could not accommodate them. Simple.

I recently got married here and I couldn't recommend it enough every single staff member went above and beyond for us and we're so friendly but I would like to say the biggest well done and thank you to Ben who coordinated our wedding she is so professional so lovely and so organized we had to postpone our wedding 3 times due to Covid and she reassured us and made everything as easy as possible for us we can't thank you enough.

Well what can I say. we had our wedding in the westgrove on fri 18th. It was the best day of our lives. Ben and all her staff done an amazing job. The food was Tops.

Stayed here last night, hotel is lovely and clean. All the staff were nice. Rooms are spacious, clean with comfortable bed. Unfortunately the food wasn’t great, our starters were lovely but the main and the breakfast this morning was dire. No Heineken on tap either.

Went for lunch. Disgusting doesnt come close. Ordered Sandwich home cooked bacon and cheese with Ballymaloe Relish. No relish ham was plastic packet ham, salad on plate swimming in oil. Sent email to complain still awaiting reply…

Bar was very disappointing. For a big hotel. Not comfortable. Staff were lovely. But service very slow.

Went for food… had to eat at the bar because no seats. Place was full of Kids and they dont have to leave until 10pm… CRAZY. Not exactly a nice relaxing night out.

We had our wedding in the Westgrove on the 6th of September myself and my husband couldn't have wished for the day to of gone better, absolutely fantastic venue staff were amazing and made us feel very special the whole day went off without a hitch, special thanks to Helen, Ben & Juan xx. Lovely large hotel, yet with lots of little quiet places, great decor tastefully done, beautiful gardens.

Went to a wedding there 9 Aug 2019 had a great time staff very friendly. Food was excellent.

Had a lovely stay at the Westgrove with our 3 kids, we had a lovely welcome and the service in the bar and restaurant was great, reception were very helpful too. The kids loved the pool and the kids club.

Just back from a 2 night stay was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Peter the bar manager was brilliant as was paul definitely a great man with a brilliant personality and very good with the children will definitely be back.

from the moment you enter the hotel the kids have a kiddie bag to get them entertained from the off. Staff are so kind and friendly. Ideal for tayto park, shopping we will return again as ideal for 8yr and 3yr old. With supervalue right beside you.

One night stay b&b staff friendly and helpful breakfast was very good no shortage on choices. Rooms spotless my bed pillows and sheets to the highest freshness that I have had in any hotel ever. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Many thanks to all staff.

We won a facebook competition for a 2night bed and breakfast and evening meal for the family we checked in today and couldnt believe how nice the hotel and staff were they had left us a lovely welcome note and vouchers for complimentry drinks the staff really went above and beyond for us the kids absolutely loved the pool and my 6 year old was delighted he had his own room! the rooms are huge and really modern we will definately be returning.

My wedding was the most amazing day I cannot thank the westgrove enough. Food, staff throughout the whole day was incredible. They couldn’t have done anymore to make our day so special. I’m absolutely delighted it was our choice of hotel for our wedding venue, also I LOVE OUR NEW GLASSES that was such a special touch.

Stayed in westgrove last night with my daughter, it was a flying visit because she was attending clane hospital for a procedure! We had an apartment that was beautiful and clean, staff on reception were fantastic, especially one lady (who's name I didn't get) she was there on check in and check Out, made us feel so welcome especially the 4yo who was nervous was made feel so grown up and important, even thought to wish her well this morning, she also had the best spagetti ever! Will defo be back with rest of family and hopefully get a breakfast that time.

Great place to stay. Had dinner there. A waitress has been kinda disrespectful. Too much sauce and dressing on the food. The food is very good though. Breakfast is very good and great. I highly recommend this place. Staff shouldn't talk to customer as if they were a 3rd grade. Even in case of food allergy we know what we can eat and what we cannot eat!

Was here recently for a wedding. Seemed like a well run operation. The layout of the hotel was a little strange with loads of paths leading to the same place. Rooms were basic and for the location they are a little over priced. All in all its a nice place.

Absolutely excellent hotel we had our wedding here on the 28th of July and can't thank the staff enough and how we were treated for 2 fantastic days. The food was absolutely amazing along with the dinner service. The service we received from all your bar staff on the two days and nights was best in class. Thank you Helen and bonnie for all you did for us we can't thank you both enough. Highly recommended this hotel for a wedding.

Booked 2 nights in this hotel with my family and we've had the worst experience. The noise level from our room to the function room is unbelievable. It's 4am on our 2nd night here and we are still wide awake. This happened on our 1st night too. I had complained to the reception and he said that it should be over at 5am. We went to bed at 11pm to catch some sleep but it was impossible to sleep. If I could rate 0 stars I would definitely do that instead because of how terrible this incident was. Without a doubt I will never stay in this hotel again. Before we complained directly to the hotel staff we tried using the phone in our room which wouldn't even work. I am very disappointed as I wanted to enjoy a nice weekend with my family but ended up with a nightmare, wouldn't even send my worst enemy here. I was quite hopeful as the room was lovely it was just how the staff dealt with the noise, if I could even say that they dealt with it at all, since it's still very loud.

Really nice hotel. Staff were top notch. We had a suite which was really big, comfortable and clean.

We arrived early and just wanted to let the hotel know our car was in the car park. To our surprise the room was ready, so we checked in. Because it was my 50th we were upgraded to a beautiful suite and may I add well worth getting if you’re staying. We went for a walk and came back to find some beautiful cake in the room with a message of happy birthday, which made me feel special. It was a beautiful sunny day so we made the most of the gorgeous sun terrace which we had nearly all too our self.
We booked dinner in the restaurant for 7, beautiful Italian but with European dishes also. The food was excellent and the service was first class from Ewa. I’d also like to add a special mention to the young blonde girl in the bar who was both charming and witty, didn’t catch her name.
Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and very tasty. I would have no hesitation recommending the Westgrove to anyone who is thinking of staying there. From check in to restaurants to everyone else we were treated first class at all times. We will be back. Thanks all for a wonderful time.

Leisure center. As I am a local never stayed in the hotel. I am in here almost every day and been coming here for years. The staff are the most helpful and friendly and the management of the Leisure center deserve a award in my opinion. This place is so much different since I first started coming here, It is always improving and making it'self better. It improves every few months and cannot be happier to be paying my money to this Leisure center. 110% recommend.

Had an amazing stay on Saturday night with my boyfriend. Room was lovely, food was amazing (breakfast, lunch & dinner) all the staff were so friendly from the reception to the bar & restaraunt even the housekeeping staff as we passed them in the halls. Will definitely be back soon.

I had my sons communion in the westgrove hotel on Saturday and I can't recommend the place enough. It was fantastic from start to finish. The room, the food and especially the service were amazing especially Andrew and his sister in the bar and also the girls on reception. Definitely will be back.

Average in every way really, nothing too bad yet not really special or outstanding either. Room functional but tired. Parking difficult to find in busier periods. Staff all polite and perfunctory. Food was good, worth more than the 3 stars I give the hotel overall.

Very accommodating, great place for a family break, very child friendly, excellent kids club. Breakfast and dinner both good, pool are a bit ran down but can't fault the rest.

Food is good. Service is good. We were in a wedding afters. So nothing much to review. The place is like a maze tho. U can get lost easily!

A spacious hotel complex. Here the customer is still king. They are set up on groups that are fast and quick to operate. The food level is high and you feel the dedication of the staff.

Arranged event at Westgrove. They went above and beyond to seamlessly deliver an enjoyable day, night and next morning for all. Staff and food superb. I can't rank them high enough.

Rooms comfortable and quiet. Breakfast cold and a disappointment. Pool area and steam room in need of some tlc but pleasant all the same. Reception staff were really welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful hotel. All the staff were lovely. We had dinner in the oak bar and it was really good. Breakfast also excellent. Great variety. Did not have the opportunity to use the health club facilities this time, hopefully next time. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly. Thank you Westgrove.

I've eaten the carvery lunch in the pub. It's nice. Plenty of seating. Good service.

Love this place! Fabulous food, excellent staff, gorgeous spa. Went for a hen and we couldn't fault anything. Spacious and clean bedrooms. I've been back for coffee, dinner, afternoon tea and a bit of our grub. Great place.

Popped in for a coffee and cake to break the journey. I've stayed here before and know the place well. Plenty of parking and relaxing seats.

Very nice hotel, was not what I was expecting from the outside. A real surprise to see how much room there is. All parties , weddings catered for.

On last Saturday, I went to this hotel for dinner with the WALK and we had some lovely meals. Although we didn't stay in this hotel so it wasn't our hotel. We stayed in our own hotel in Blessington, Co. Wicklow. Anyway, it's a very nice hotel.

Nice hotel. Was there for a company training session. Their conference and banqueting service could be better. Their signage to get to the room was bad. I had never been there before. The signage directed me upstairs but when I got upstairs the signage for the boardroom was not clear. I could not find it and they had no company logo outside the room our training session was in. At morning tea and coffee they forgot coffee and had two flasks of tea, this was rectified a short time later but still should not have happened. The staff were all very nice though.

Staff very nice and attentive. Menu excellent. Very pleasant venue. Leaving 5th star available as I'm sure there's always room for improvement!

This hotel is great the only down fall is that if u have a shell fish allergy dont eat the chips or anything cook ib oil. Ie chicken wings/prawns as they are all cooked in the same oil.

I have been to x2 wedding here great location staff are brilliant residents bar you can drink and sing all night really good service when it comes to weddings.

Just had a lovely meal in the Assaggio Restaurant. Food was very good, the staff were amazing.

Was at this for an event and was pleasently surprised at how good the food was and the staff were excellant. Don't let the outside deceive you all is good inside.

Different areas hard to find unless you constantly ask. Signage very poor. Breakfast bit miserly. Staff however are wonderful friendly bunch and always willing to assist. Guinness delivery not up to standard.

Stayed here for 3 nights in one of their apartments with my husband and 2 children. The rooms were clean and spacious, and cleaned daily. The staff were all very friendly. My kids absolutely loved the kids club and the swimming pool. My only issues were that the food was more expensive than what it was worth, and there was absolutely no atmosphere in the bar at all.

Very disapointed. Stayed easter weekend. Was a returning customer with high expectations and it was nothing like I remembered and no longer worthy of being a 4 star hotel. The receptionist was rude and only helpful if you asked for specific info. The other receptionist advised another customer to book a table at the restaurant so I took that advice and as soon as I got to our room I telephoned down and booked for the next evening. When we arrived at the restaurant the next day there was no record of our booking and we were accused of lying about booking by the head waiter. The furniture in the assagio restaurant was filthy. Some tables were against walls which were splashed with a record of every meal that had ever been eaten there. I saw one waitress wipe all the food from the table onto the floor rather than catching it in the cloth. The room was acceptable and mostly clean however the desk looked like it had been standing in a puddle for months. The TV was tiny and there was no Wi-Fi in the room. In short the whole hotel needs refurbishing and the staff need retraining.

Visited this hotel on Easter weekends. When you check in you have zero information about every thing. You need to ask if you want to know the simple things. We wasn't know where is our room, where is a leisure centre, where is restaurant, where is breakfast. Wifi password you need to ask as well but anyway It is meaningless, because Wifi don't work at all in this hotel. We find a deal for this hotel at escapes website and there was said that in Leisure centre they have jacuzzi, swimming pool, steam room and sauna but sauna doesn't exist at all and jacuzzi is always busy so It is very hard to get there. Our favorite attraction is sauna and we was very frustrated to know that It not exist. If we know It before we go to different hotel. Dine and breakfast wasn't nice as well. We very often spend a weekends in hotel, but never have such a bad experience.

Was ok, rooms weren't the best, food was lovely 100% nice, Some staff very ignorant, swimming was a bit dirty, the bed was broken on one side, windows handles were broke, best thing about it Was the chicken wings.

Decent enough hotel, really good value. Not the most fancy place but fine for cheap short break. Might be good for weddings, they have a few nice ball rooms with decent views.

I booked and paid for this hotel on the 25th of July for a family get together in October. I got a phone call 1 week before the family were due to stay here to say they had a function that night and needed the rooms, there was nothing they could or wood do about it. I am left now with nowhere to stay as all the other hotels in the area are booked up as it is such short notice.

Wife and her boss enjoyed their room together so much that she stayed in bed with him until almost checkout. They were well rested after drinking at the bar and having sex in the lovely bath before resuming om the luxurious double bed. Unsure about value for money as it was charged on my credit card and reimbursed by their company since both names were recorded on the checkout invoice. All in all a very good place but cheaters should know that the record of their stay is documented in detail and archivex for over a year. They also provide copies of bookings and invoices for the entire stay including bar reciepts and movie rentals. Thank you Westgrove.

We stayed in a standard room on the third floor. The room itself is an excellent size but there are a number of issues. Firstly the room is always incredibly hot and lacks any sort of air conditioning. The doors of the balcony can be opened but do not remain open on their own so would need to be lodged open with something. As it is a shared balcony there is always the risk your fellow guests may enter your room if the door is left unlocked. The only safe way to cool the room is to open the very small window which has very little effect on a room this size. The view from our room at least was non-existent, consisting of the roofing equipment of the rest of the hotel, we could both see and hear the air conditioning units for the other rooms which made the heat of our own room even more frustrating. With the room being so big you would presume you would also get a decent size TV, not so. The TV itself is barely 20 inches which when viewed from the bed along the far wall makes for uncomfortable viewing. Maybe this is done purposely to detract from the incredibly poor reception, all channels show significant ghosting. Given this is a 4 star hotel I was expecting a fridge within the room itself, again this is not so, perhaps they were concerned you may be able to cool the room with it. The shower has excellent water pressure, generally you would consider this a positive thing but it seems while the shower is fantastic the drains are less so.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in. Tatty and unclean bed sheets on arrival were covered in black balls i. E worn looking. Went down for breakfast with the two kids age 12 and 15 so not that young. Tables had nt been clean found one down the back no one came to us at all had to look for waiter to get tea and then had to go again to get juices jug as they were empty. When we went to get the hot breakfast there was no bread for the toast so I asked the chap behind the counter and he went and handed me a slice pan to put out myself (4 star I dont think) so we cancelled breakfast for the rest of our stay. To find out later we were charged when I rang I was asked if I could call back to get the refund! The room had no air conditioning and we had to get a fan from reception. The only positive aspect of this hotel is the leisure part were the staff were so helpful and it was clean.

We had our wedding at this hotel and they made our day magical. They looked after all over guests with great care. They showed our guests to their rooms took thier bags from them it ment so much to us. As for Gerry the manager on that night was just amazing as was his staff. All the little extras that we did not expect was amazing. They were all very professional and as for the food it was outstanding. We are married two years and people still talk about the Westgrove hotel and the wonderful service they received while staying in the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as they would make your special day as magical as ours.
