Fabulous grounds and impressive drive up to main house brilliant venue especially for weddings.

Poor vegetarian choices in the restaurant and you can see the problem getting trained staff but all in all a great place and atmosphere and staff are very friendly.

Fabulous food, excellent staff, beautiful place and area. We were so relax and comfortable. We would come back again. And the massage, etc so so relax 😊😊

We had a celebration meal for our son’s 22nd birthday and we absolutely loved it, great food, great atmosphere and friendly helpful staff, we would highly recommend it for any event😀😀

Had a beautiful lunch at the Cliff of Lyons, the staff are so friendly and gave us lots of information on wine. We enjoyed it so much that we are planning to have an overnight stay there with dinner.
We walked all around the grounds and it was beautiful, especially Lily Pond!

Cliff at Lyons sits on beautiful, green land. The buildings are lovely. The room we had was well decorated and roomy. We had gorgeous views out three sides of our room. The staff was very polite and helpful. The restaurant served a delicious meal as well. The flowers were stunning!

We recently had our wedding here and we could not recommend it highly enough. Everything was to perfection and nothing was too much trouble. We had our ceremony in the fabulous church they have on site and reception in the Dovetail as we had a small intimate wedding, it was truly magical. Truly professional and we had the best day of our lives. The setting, the surroundings, the food were to a five star standard. Cannot wait to go back. Clare and Niall.

It's nice. Good rooms, comfortable, clean, in a lovely setting. Small details, though, need attention, to make it outstanding. Food is good, if thr menu is small, and there's no option for an evening meal which is lighter than the full restaurant, or any room service. If it rains, you'll get wet — providing umbrellas for the walk to breakfast would be a good idea. Breakfast is good. Check in and out is efficient. They failed to book me a taxi, and then told me their taxi firm had "turned off its phones", and then despite me asking for another one to be booked which could take credit cards, they couldn't do that. 30 minutes later, this made me late for my next appointment. They need to pay attention to the details to live up to the promise it makes. Will revisit though.

Top class, 5***** I'd give more stars if I could. Niamh and Laura at the Well spa have exceptional talent. Best treatments ever and that's saying something as we have been to many great hotels; The Europe hotel, Fota, The Muckross Park, The Brehon, The K Club, The Shelbourne and many more over the years. The botanical facial oh wow if I had the money id get one a month and am looking forward to returning for a full body massage. During the many products being placed on my face hot stones were massaged into my neck/upper shoulders to relieve knots/tension, a large stone was placed on my belly which was warm + relaxing. If you want a relaxing treatment, with finer detail, cosy environment, green fields and trees to look out at and watch Tommy the Terepine swimming in the pond, amazing therapists that make you feel very welcome, it's very professional, grey uniforms, very relaxing + you will not be sorry. Total relaxing, lovely tasty in season freshly made food at Trellis cafe, run by the lovely Sandra who makes you feel very welcome and is such a lovely lady, no task is too weird, she'll sort you out, whatever you want. Thanks Niamh, Laura and Sandra for making our Spa day a truly wonderful experience and we are already making arrangements to come back again soon.

One of the best Irish Wedding locations shooting Wedding Photography and Video in. A self contained and beautifully designed location. No long drives searching for suitable backgrounds as Cliff at Lyons has excellent exteriors and interiors. The water mill race and footbridge are perfect for Bridal shots and the Civil Ceremony location has excellent natural lighting. Altogether a treat for a photographer and videographer. I couldn't speak highly enough about this amazing Hotel Cliff at Lyons. Another wonderful hidden gem in our beautiful Isle. From the moment we stepped into reception, greeted my the beautiful Florian & Aoife to the time we checked out. We had the most Wonderful time. What makes this Hotel a step above others, is the Staff. All of them who work tirelessly from the Orangery, Mill House & Household Staff taking time to cater for everything we needed. Making our break so special, one we can't forget. Return visit planned with treatments at The Well Spa. Thanking Irene & Ladies who kindly demonstrated their wonderful products today. Location was perfect, peaceful setting & time to cycle along the Canal.

I know, I haven't been a guest of this hotel yet, but for sure I will be! What a beautiful place! The interior designer is fantastic, everything is so nicely done, combined, every detail is taken care of! Ireland top 10 places to stay at, definitely!

We were here for our sisters wedding on Monday and had an amazing time. The place is beautiful and full of character, food is fantastic and the staff really made the whole experience very special, they couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend!

Very nice spot although be it a little out of the way! Really nice place. We attended a wedding here and the ceremony was held in the orangery at the side of one of the buildings. Very pretty! The dinner was held in a really striking room with a waterfall as a backdrop in a weir outside the windows. The whole estate overall was very nicely maintained. The staff were polite although be it a little unhelpful and when I requested cocktails from any of the bars we were told that they did not do them for weddings. A rule that seems a little silly to me as a bar is a bar.

Did not stay the night but attended a conference. Very nice hotel. Good and service was good too.

Stunning venue and location. We stumbled across it whislt out walking along the canal. We had a bite to eat in the cafe and were pretty shocked at how pricey it became! We ordered off the specials (usually a cheaper option, ) I got chicken liver pate and my husband got leak & potato soup. Soup was pretty bland and although mine was delicious, the portion was tiny! We got a tea and Americano and the bill was over €30! We will shortly be moving within walking distance to the venue and had thought we'd found a regular haunt as grounds really are stunning! But with prices like that, unfortunately we won't be that regular! Such a pity because it really could be a buzzing venue if prices were just a little less! Also, lovely staff but are they mostly new!? A lot seemed to be still in training…!?

The most amazing venue … I got married here last year and have to say it's a magical unique place. I have visited few times since for our Anniversary and also got to sample your fab afternoon tea which I would highly recommend people to try. But today was a whole new wonderful experience in the new Well in the garden spa. Laura and Niamh are an asset to your hotel. So friendly and welcoming and also amazing at what they do. My mother and I both really enjoyed our full body massage and all the little extra treats that I've never had from a spa experience before. The relaxation room is stunning to say the least. The whole spa experience was 5 star and I can't wait to return already … Best wishes for the future with the amazing spa …

One of the nicest wedding venues in the country. No expense spared on this beautiful property. Open 7 days a week a must visit.

We went for dinner in the Orangery to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had our wedding at Lyons 3 YEARS ago.
Our dinner was wonderful. The food was absolutely wonderful. The choice on the menu was really interesting. The choice of wine was great and the wine we chose was perfect for our meal. The staff were very polite and friendly. We were treated as though we were special guests.
Even though there was a wedding on in the venue the restaurant was was very calm and ambiance just right.
The meal was expensive but we thought it was worth it. We were clearly eating and drinking quality products.
Love love love this place.

Beautiful spot right beside the Grand canal just outside the historic village of Celbridge, which is the birthplace of Arthur Guinness. The Cliff at Lyons has a lovely restaurant, great cafe and is a popular wedding venue with luxury accommodation.

What a venue all I could have wished for for my daughter's wedding. Even better I would defy anybody to find a more attentive welcoming and accommodating staff — anything we needed was instantly looked after. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend.
