Recommended… spacious and clean room. Friendly staff…

Proximity to the ONLY airport in EUROPE that you are able to clear US Customs from at DEPARTURE, and the fact that this Hotel has scheduled Airport shuttles synchronized to most flights, and the Awesome Customer Service, AND a Restaurant/Bar onsite I don't think I would choose any other accomodation next time in Dublin, Ireland. A+++ Fellow US Travellers, UK, IE, and EU do have different power outlets, BUT you can purchase an adaptor Onsite!

2nd time of staying here this year. 1st time we had an issue with the shower being freezing but this time I had no complaints… staff on the desk were friendly and helpful and the restaurant staff and the food was great and plentiful. If you drive yes you have to pay for parking and if you walk be prepared to dart across roads to get into town or to bus stops.

Couldn't find my reservation then was not pleasant to deal with also not enough cups in the room and stifling hot.

Kids and dog friendly, good breakfast, nice service.

This place is a joke when you pay for the room which is not cheap they charge you another €9 euros for breakfast which is not the best then parking on top of that and the staff not helpful at all plus you can not check in till 3pm Joke altogether definitely won't be going back to this place Cope on Travellodge Swords Money Grabbers.

The room are ok the staff is good close to airport.

Place is a joke. 100 deposit required on arrival as it is their policy seemingly. Pay for parking after 10am. Grubby stained carpets in rooms. 3rd bed might as well be for a dog. Stay up the road in the premier inn for the same money nearly and it’s decent.

Facilities not great and Wifi not working. Had to pay for parking even though I was a resident. Acoustic property of Windows is shocking because I can hear every wordthats being said in the car park from my room. Never again.

A reasonable hotel convenient to Dublin airport, which in all fairness is the only reason I went there. The rooms are adequate and clean while the restaurant is acceptable but not outstanding. Personally I feel expensive for what it is.

We were very pleased with the accommodation it was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly also.

Simple rooms with cabin character. Unfortunately only very bad to ventilate. Long narrow corridors. Good beds. Kettle in the room. Nice that there is a bathtub. Unfortunately no sitting outside.

Stayed here twice on one trip 3 weeks apart. Room was clean, nice, with coffee and tea. We checked in super early after a flight which was fabulous. The staff printed our boarding passes for our next flight. The restaurant had excellent food that was not expensive. There was a shuttle to/from the airport. There are stores, gas stations, a bus station, and ATM's within walking distance as well.

Poor quality. Dirty and grubby place to stay. Reception is inefficient and quite rude, offering no assistance. Charging for car parking is just a cheap method to further overcharge for crappy service. Bathrooms are poorly equipped with minimal smelly towels. Bathroom floor is easily wet and dangerously slippery. Rooms are noisy throughout the night with paper thin walls. Obviously the health inspectors have missed this excuse for a motel in recent times. give this place a miss …

Good hotel with clean rooms and very friendly staff. Location isn’t the best if you plan to use public transport as although there is a bus stop nearby, it’s quite a long journey into Dublin although the airport isn’t far. Make sure you have some Euro/Cent coins ready for the bus or arrange to buy either a Leap Card or one of the other passes from Dublin Bus beforehand as there are no contactless debit card facilities on board! We didn’t dine in the restaurant but it looked clean and modern. Overall a good hotel.

Staff are friendly, rooms are decent and restaurant is good as well. Breakfast for €10 worth it, big breakfast in the morning for a busy day ahead. Decent sized car park with plenty of spaces. It’s just a little fat away from public transport to get into city. The hotel does have a shuttle service running towards the airport quite frequently, which costs €3 each way.

It's just like that. Compared to other accommodations rather bad than right. But for the price you will find better hotels or B&B. 98 euro for a double room. Then 5 euros for parking and 9 euros per person for breakfast… something comes together. For a very year-old accommodation. Take your finger away and prefer something else to find or book.

Absolutely fantastic. Faultless. Deliveroo and Just Eat deliver here but also on site restaurant and leisure complex within 5 min walk. €3pp shuttle to airport or €14 for a taxi for 4 people plus luggage. Room 312 recommended.

Wonderfully friendly and helpful manager & reception staff. Restaurant waitress & chef always smiling, extremely polite & nothing was too much trouble. Noted resurant latecomers were given a warm welcome & greeted by happy faces. Beyond excellent!

For the price it is a great hotel for those with a dog. I didn't see it when I booked the room but there is a 20 euro additional fee for those traveling with their pooch. My room was very clean and stocked with clean linens. Only real complaint is the walls were a little thin and could hear upstairs and people walking down the hallway. Still slept sound and the bed was comfortable.

Great bedding, conveniently located close to the airport, shuttle to central Dublin and close to the highway.

Disgraceful place. Dirty, no free parking, no free shuttle, extremely noisy place. Definitely not where you want to stay before an early flight! Make yourself a favour and get to the premiere inn just beside (same range of prices)

Very reasonable rates. Room was clean and well proportioned for a budget hotel. Parking is €5 for 24 hours. There is an airport shuttle bus check bus schedule before booking. Breakfast is buffet style for €9 which isn't bad for Dublin. It can get very busy on the road outside the hotel so ask for a room not overlooking the roundabout. The hotel can get very busy so the Wi-Fi can get very slow in the evening. Mobile data connection is very good. Overall this is exactly what you would expect from a budget hotel. The prices in Dublin are crazy for hotels so this one gets 5 stars for value and service.

I chose this place because I needed a place near the airport where I could stay with my dog for a night and I was pleasantly surprised! Yes, it is a bit of a dated/older building BUT it was super clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind/helpful/friendly. At one point I had trouble figuring out the bathroom hardware and went to the front desk to ask a stupid question. The manager was there in his sharp suit and overheard and came to show me himself! The on-site bar/restaurant offered some quite good food, including vegetarian/vegan options and the prices were very fair. (The salad was very fresh. ) I have only good things to say about the establishment. You can tell the staff is well-managed by people who take pride. It might be a bit humble, but it is a good place to stay. My only negative is not even really a negative. Because I had a dog with me they put me in one of their pet-friendly rooms which had a bit of a pet smell, but that is reasonable considering. I'd say in terms of cleanliness and service it is as good as any of the posh hotels I've stayed at.

We booked at last min. After a long haul 20 hour all in from Australia. We where shattered. Good price for one night. The guy on desk very pleasant and helpfull. Loaned us chargers as we where missing a case. Slept well a hot shower and cup of coffee worked wonders. Was a bit of noise during night. But quietened quickly. Woke and had a full breakfast which was lovely couldnt fault it. And very reasonable price. Certainly will stay again. Thank you.

Nice hotel and situated not too far from the airport. Rooms were your basic double bed hotel room but very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and the airport bus picked up & dropped off at the door!

The beds were clean. The cost of parking was ridicolous. TV remote was broken. Good showers. Good restaurant. Great location. TV was too small. There should have been biscuits free to eat in the room. It was good dogs could stay.

Perfectly adequate room to sleep in. Rooms clean and comfortable. Arranging parking a bit more complicated. Easy when you know how. Would use again in similar circumstances.

Full accommodation in expensive Dublin. Has the charm of Etap — Hotel, only considerably more expensive. Very good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

Clean place with a lovely cozy restaurant We did not spend much time in the room but it is clean and the beds are comfy. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant on both times we stayed and the food was amazing. The hotel is 10 min walk from the town centre and 5 min away from the bus stop that brings you to the city centre. There's a shuttle bus to the airport. If you drive, you need to pay for parking €5 per night.

This was a reasonable room with basic facilities. The reason it got a 2 star rating not a three is because of its pricing policy. The rooms were around 70 euros a night but then the hurricane cancelled all the flights in Dublin airport and the hotel doubled its rates to 150 euros to cash in on the disaster and peoples misery. This is my eyes is unacceptable behaviour and I would have expected better from a chain such as this. Poor show guys, I stay in your hotels a lot but not anymore. This sort of behaviour gets noticed and was being discussed in the queues and huddles at the airport the following day so gives you a really bad reputation.

Very over priced, 153 euro for one night? Kettle didn't work unless you held down button and the look on the receptionists face when I asked for more coffee and sugar, you would think it was coming out of his own pocket wi fi shite and only 2 plug sockets? Not a patch on the cork travelodge for a lot less money, wont be staying here again.

To be recommended. Room was fine. Good breakfast. Reception staff very friendly and helpful with getting bording passes. 5

The common facilities are cozy and nice, the rooms are old.

Our vehicle was broken into in the car park! We reported it to the reception and was told that the cctv cameras could only be accessed by managers.
I am writing this as a warning to and for dog owners as we know we were targeted for having dogs, thankfully the dogs were with me at the time. However we shall not be stopped here ever again.
The reception staff were useless! The security were more helpful than them!
They have lost our business and I would hope other dog owners also.
It was shocking how we were treated!

5Euro for parking, place needs a bit of tlc I get the budget accommodation bit but finding a hole in my bathroom floor stretched that in my opinion Bed was comfortable any a good sleep was had.

Rooms were comfortable and just what you'd expect at a hotel near the airport. Wifi worked well in the rooms. Rooms were clean and tidy. I'd stay again.

This Travelodge has a great location, close to the Dublin Airport. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a diner on the premises. A bus runs to and from the airport for a fee of 3 Euros. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this Travelodge, however there were a couple of drawbacks. We had made reservations through a third party travel sight and requested a room for 3 adults. The reservation said we would have a 1 double bed and 1 single bed, that would have been great, but we actually got 1 double bed and a terribly uncomfortable cot. Also there is not fan in the bathroom, so there was mold on the ceiling. The location and friendly staff were great, but those cots should NEVER be used for an adult.

Our room was unfortunately very dirty and noisy. On the ceiling of dried insects. Seemingly made from the house, no one is Keeping thoughts about it. Breakfast is quite acceptable. For € 7.50, however, relatively little selection.

Absolutely awful. The room was filthy, dead insect in bed, limescale all over the kettle and bath. Hot and cold sink nozzles were fitted incorrectly. Makeup on supposedly clean bath towels. No lift for suitcases. Radiator when turned on smelled like it could catch fire any minute. Cheeky customer service. Hair blocked bath drain. Could hear barking all night from another resident who had a dog. Will definitely not be staying here ever again and could not wait to leave as soon as we stepped in.

Love our room.! Beautiful and modern furniture! Comfortable temperature in the room. The WI Fi connection is excellent! We had unlimited hot water. The room is very clean! I will recommend it to my family, relatives and friends!

No frills budget stay close to the airport with an easy walk into Swords for any amenities you might need. Clean and modern. Parking is NOT free for your own car but free, however, for a rental car?! Does have an airport shuttle, that is 3E per person that is not well described on website. Pick up is at Coach Parking at Dublin Airport, it's a purple and yellow bus that is not marked so it will not be obvious.

This place feels more like a homeless shelter than a hotel. Rooms haven't been updated since the 90s. Bed was comfortable otherwise it would've been 1 star. Also, costs 10 euro per day to park here despite been resident in the hotel. Do yourself a favour and put 10 euro per day to your budget and stay somewhere else!

Most comfortable, affordable and convenient place to stay before flying off. Great breakfast buffet at affordable price. Highly recommended.

Maybe not the best hotel in Dublin as its becoming dated. But is located a short walking distance swords town centre so ideal for those on business Trips. Easy access to the airport with a hourly shuttle bus service. Free car parking which is a added bonus. Would recommend.

Not as good as I expected, rooms have a weird smell inside, hard beds, windows have a bar on the outside so you can't open for fresh air or let the smell out.

Really nice friendly staff here, would really recommend as everyone was so lovely. Would definitely visit again.

It's clean. It's a Travelodge.

The room was spacious enough, but not quite clean. The bathroom floor was disturbingly sticky and the hallways smelled unpleasant. The bed itself was clean and comfortable, in fairness. The costs mentioned in earlier reviews have diminished. Wi-Fi is free, if slow, and the shuttle bus is down to 2€. The entire building is need of an aesthetic refresh, as all interiors are distressingly early '90s. I will seek out alternative accommodation next time.

Wish that I would have gone else where. There really are only a few positive things about this place, like its relative proximity to Dublin International. Otherwise, they nickel and dime the crap out of you! They charge you 5 euro per day to have Wi-Fi in your room! What kind of BS is that? This is the first time that I have encountered a Wi-Fi charge, after travelling for an entire week around the country. The shuttle charges a 5 euro fee to take you to the airport, and a 7.50 euro fee to pick you up. Mind you, the airport is only 3km away. The rooms were OKAY at best. There was blood on almost all of our blankets/pillows, and various fixtures around the room were in a state of disrepair. For example: our heated towel rack was all but unattached from the bathroom wall, and failed to operate (the cord was the only thing remaining attached). The cafe food was not very good, and they only provided basic soap bars in the rooms, no shampoo. The mugs they gave us to hold our tea/coffee in had rings on the inside and faint lip marks on the rim, almost as if they were only quickly rinsed out. Oddly enough, the water line leading to the shower head was over pressurized, which produced an uncomfortable, and almost painful (if it hits the wrong parts), stream of water. There is virtually no ventilation in the bathroom, so if you stay in too long the entire room becomes completely covered in steam/water.

There are no services instead of bins. Reset toilet. They even make bed.

Prices vary from day to day and food is very poor standard procedssed fare.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Pleasent hotel and great prices.

It made me feel nice sleeping next to all of my friends for a few weeks during our stay. They didn't even kick us out! great! will be back soon to use the shower! great experience, great staff, cheap internet, clean beds, WOOT! I love swords, and abu.
