Unfortunately, our room was no bigger than a storage room. For 1 person possibly. Gerde are enough. For 2 people an imposition. In addition, the room was not clean and therefore too expensive.

You know when you watch a show like Gordan Ramsays hotel nightmares and wonder "do places this bad really exist? ", Well this place is living proof that they do. The place felt like crashing at your mates gaff in university. There was no sense of privacy, every wall in the room was stained, the walls upstairs kept humming for some reason, the carpet had things mashed into it, and the bed was stained, unfomfortable and covered in hairs. Then to top it all off Abbington House is also over priced and in a terrible location. If you have any other viable option do not stay in this place. Get a hotel or a student gaff. You'd be better off.

Stayed at a single room at the top of the stairs. The bathroom is quite magnificent but unfortunately you can’t sleep in it. And I did try. The single divan bed is pressed against the door containing the noisiest hot press tank that went on **all night long** The noise bothered me so much I actually took the mattress to the floor of the opposite side of the room and pressed the base of the divan against the door of the effing hot press in an attempt to reduce its noise. Other than that it is just an old house with flowery red carpets on the stairs and on the room. I also heard the downstairs neighbour snore happily away while I listened to the whistling sound of the hot press. If I had paid €30 I would have accepted it. For €60 I certainly expect more.

Not bad for one night's stay, bathrooms would need an upgrade ours had mould on the roof above the shower, could also do with an air freshener in bathroom also as there is no other ventilation other than the fan above shower. For the price you are paying I would have expected a bit better facilities. In saying that it was very warm but we had to turn on radiator. The front rooms can be quite noisy with traffic trains etc.

Great value place to stay in Dublin.

Clean room but a bit small! Was in a nice area of Dublin.

Ok but expensive and noisy.

Cold, heating did not work. The rest was more or less OK, but for me that was a deal breaker. Also, beware room nr 6, the lock is really tricky and it can jam randomly, making it an oddyssey to open again. If management solves these two issues, place would be recommendable.

Actually, I'm not a fan of reviews, but I need to air my joy. Room so big that you cannot fall to, breakfast does not exist in the alleged sale of 90 euros and then you can see, others have paid only 70 euro. Well maybe they had not the optional mold in the bathroom (even on the ceiling) and fresh blood stains in the bed of the predecessor. Vermoderter smell in the whole building. So best to recommend. This describes my impressions.

Impossible to rest with the noise.

What a terrible experience! When my boyfriend and I arrived to Dublin we had to take a bus to one of the most far away and poor areas of Dublin to get to the B&B. Once there I didn't like the appearance of the place and we decided to cancel the booking (paying the fee) … I felt threatened by the guy over there, he didn't let us go without "calling his boss beforehand"… It was dark and there were nobody around… Finally we left and found another accommodation.

Wonderful little B&b with fantastic owners! Comfortable room with a lovely bathroom.

Stayed there for couple of days. Clean rooms close to the public transportation and great breakfast.
