What a wonderful welcome from the fabulous host Pauline! Killyliss Country House is charming with every comfort provided and a fantastic full irish breakfast, but it is Pauline herself that made our stay extra special. Pauline deserves nothing less then 5stars. Such a warm welcome and genuine person. The house is best described as a lived in family home. You are part of the family. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We even learned to play solitaire. Pauline recommended Kierans restaurant in Ballybay which was delicious. We ate there both nights. A clean and welcoming home from home. Thankyou Pauline for your hospitality. Definitely recommend Killyliss Country House x.

This is the most comfortable Bed and Breakfast we could have wished for. Located in the beautiful Monaghan countryside, not far from quaint Ballybay, Killyliss is an elegant house with lovely big rooms. Pauline is a wonderful host and gives a very warm welcome. Breakfast is excellent and a variety of options are available. For anyone wanting a base from which to explore central Ireland Killyliss would be a perfect choice.

We spent 1 week et we came back to France on the end of december 2017… Thank to Pauline for her warm welcome, her nice touch every morning with the snow on our car Our children were so happy to be there, they didn’t want to come back home From Virginie.

Stayed here in this fine house just for one night but it was well kept and well furnished rooms. Lots of dvds if you've the kids with you and a lovely breakfast as well. Pauline who runs it was very friendly and organised taxis for us too, and she's an all round top lady.

Overall a wonderful place to stay… nice rural location clean room with a very comfortable bed and a very good breakfast. Very friendly as well.

A delightful B&B with eclectic ornamentation, and a great location for exploring lake-land county.

Nice place, not so modern but extremely friendly & hospitable. Host was fantastic. Delicious breakfast, portion just a bit small.

Loved our overnight stay. Had both rooms at the top of the house for our family of 5. They were clean, beds were so comfy and there was plenty of space to get together to watch a movie in either room. Breakfast the following was excellent, huge variety of fruit, cereals, fruit juice finished off with a delicious cooked selection. Thank you so much for our stay.

What an amazing B&B! My family and I stayed here last year in June. This was actually my first B&B experience and it has made me fall in love with them. Pauline was a wonderful hostess. She made sure we were all comfortable and enjoying our stay. She was very knowledgeable of the area and after finding out our ancestors were from the area, she was very interested in helping us find more ancestral information and possible relatives. The B&B was very clean, cute decor, quiet atmosphere, and just very friendly and welcoming. My fiance and I were in our own room with a comfortable bed and en suite. My parents and brother shared a room across from us. It was wonderful that Pauline was able to accommodate the five of us. Breakfast was served downstairs and was fantastic! Lots of pastries, fruit, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, and more. Just a wonderful experience! Definitely recommend for any traveler and will stay here again if I'm ever in Monaghan again.
