Just back from a fabulous night at the Lakeside Manor. Have stayed many times this weekend was made extra special thanks to Sinead at reception. Food excellent nothing too much trouble floor staff great. Tasty breakfast beautiful views whilst eating it and nicest brown bread ive had in years all homemade Entertainment all weekend geeat variety special shoutiut to the Terroke Experience great fun. Looking forward to returning very soon.

I would highly recommend lakeside Manor Hotel. The staff are excellent, friendly and extremely helpful. Definitely the best service I have seen in a long time. Well done to all at the hotel. I will definitely make a return trip.

The Staff Management make you feel so welcome & safe very clean and of course the Beautiful lakes and Marine. No matter where you sit outside your looking out at the lake and its beautiful surrounds with flowers plenty of Beautiful colour benches and tables. And of course you can have beautiful food also. And the service is excellent also.

I love staying here and even though ther was a bid mix up with my reservation the receptionist the staff could not do enough to help us I would definitely recommend the Lakeside Manor and I will definitely be back I cannot wait for my next stay at the Lakeside Manor.

This place is grubby, run down and painfully understaffed. I was there in September, the place was barely paying lipservice to covid protections, tables marked as sanitized were filthy and as the evening progressed there was no table service, only service at the packed bar. Food was ok, but would have been improved if it had been what was actually ordered, or if it had all arrived at the same time. Watching the rest of your party finish their breakfast before your own has arrived isn't the best way to start to the day. During the pandemic I ate at other places that were exemplary in their efforts in ensuring the safety of their guests, they stand in very sharp contrast to this place that I enjoyed my time there was very much inspite of the place, rather than because of it I wouldn't go back if you paid me.

Great Food, great Staff, great location and wonderful big bed :) Our room was nice and clean as well. Will certainly be back!

Best break away very good hotel girls that work their thanks alot very helpful would. Do anything for us X food was beautiful and anyways on time everyone their was welcoming very nice people X the views are beautiful the lights at night on the lake is beautiful would recommend to everyone thanks alot for my weekend away. Hotel was clean can't wait to come. Back kids loved it too.

The breakfast staff were very friendly couldn't do enough for you the first night dinner was very good but Saturday night dinner was not great but would stay again x.

We had a great stay, stayed for 3 nights, the staff more than helpful and so friendly, nothing was to much trouble for them. The food was lovely. The bedroom was clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable. We actually got engaged in the hotel on our last night. We will definitely be back.

Enjoyed a 3 night break here last week. The food was excellent and staff were very pleasant and service was great. The views from our first floor room were amazing! ❤

Lake is lovely and fun for the kids but the food was bad and outside eating area not too clean.

It's a lovely place to have dinner drink a few pints and looking over the lake beautiful it is.

Lovely welcome from lovely Alexis and naimph plus the rest of the girls. I hope the owner appreciates them. Good food. Comfortable, clean bed. Staff very helpful with local activities quirky place which we like. Has been an enjoyable few days. We will be back.

Had my daughters christening there, food portions were very small, asked them to cut the cake which had little keepsakes on it, we never got back with the rest of the cake so somebody must have thrown them out & left phone charger in the room & when went back for it, it was gone.

Stay away from this absolute appalling hotel. Food is awful staff are awful rooms are dirty windows screwed shut not an ounce of air in the place. Dirty towels in room also witnessed the owner fight with one of his staff pushing and shoving and shouting at him leading the staff member to walk out. There for 2 nights and the worst 2 nights ever. Had to pay for taxis to and from town to eat.

Firstly a good clean is necessary, then a proper manager who treats staff well and knows how to run a hotel. We tried 3 rooms before we got 1. Riped curtains, no soap or toiletaries in room,. No BBC 0r english channels on tv, bar needs a good clean too not to mention old delph and glasses. Service v slow and breakfast poor. Outside not kept flowerpots full of weeds and litter around. This place could be a wee goldmine if it was run properly. Avoid at any price I certainly wont be returning!

Lovely old style place. Quite relaxing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Thought it needed better cleaning especially with dishes. But food was gorgeous.

Great service and staff as well as great views of the lake. Good spot for some down time but they do have a nightclub that is right next door to let your hair down. The service here is great and all of the staff are very helpful and curtious. Would recommend this place to stay to anyone single or a full family.

Lovely location, fantastic view but the food and service don't match it, not terrible by any means but nothing special. Plenty of other options locally that I would prefer to visit.

The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast disappointing because of an apparent lack of staff. The staff themselves are however most pleasant. The website says that there is a slimmers menu but this is not available.

It had been a long time since me and my family went here for dinner but we were happy we chose to give it another chance. The food was lovely and the service was friendly. The seating was perfect and the prices were reasonable. Great selection of drinks and food.

Beautiful, swimming and bathing seemed family friendly in and around the boat jetty. Always be careful around a lake and get some local advice before swimming in certain areas. Nice for picnics and relaxing on a sunny day.

Such a lovely spot on a sunny day. Sitting relaxing at the lake while the kids play in the sand. In then for lunch which was fabulous. The staff are lovely and friendly and very quick service. Highly recommended for a relaxing family day.

Lovely private lakeside beach and swimming area. The hotel serves food all day and there is an ice cream and coffee stand close to the marina. Toilets are available in the hotel. There are signs in place forbidding the bringing of your own food but from what I could see, this was not enforced.

Went here for the day. What a fab place and location. Spotless clean The lake and gardens stunning Ice cream man outside at the lake. Great views Will go and stay again.

Giving one star as you can’t give none. The hotel is the grottiest place I have ever stayed. All staff we encountered were rude and clearly didn’t want to be there. The bar absolutely stank and when we walked in there were flies everywhere. Sat outside had one pint and didn’t even finish it. Avoid this place at all costs. There is a lovely bar/restaurant in town if you are looking for a meal. For accommodation go somewhere else.

Place is dated and cleanliness is questionable at times. The loo in the room wasn't cleaned properly on arrival and one of the bath towels while clean had a huge stain on it. I got a dirty glass with dinner the first evening and on using the public area toilets on two different occasions I found them dirty and smelly. The staff were wonderful and friendly and were working flat out the whole time we were there. It's a good place to stop for lunch or dinner on route to your destination as the food is pretty good and reasonable with a good variety to choose from.

Beautiful hotel, such friendly staff, and breakfast was delish. Great view from our window looking out to the sea and the boats. Went out to the ocean on one of the boats to catch fish. Great experience.

Get bar staff and great little beach/pier area outside. On a summers day there's a nice family feel to the place.

A group of 4 of us had dinner here today, we were moved upstairs to the function room which was filthy dirty and in need of a serious declutter! The staff were friendly and very busy but my god the manager was so rude to them! It was shocking the way he spoke to his staff and humiliated them on front of customers! Food was standard enough considering the dirt of the place! The lake itself is saving this place because the Manager hasn’t a clue!

We spent 3 nights here and loved it. The hotel is located in a scenic area next to the lake, it has an interesting, unique decor, the rooms are spacious, and the staff were beyond helpful. The owner even went out of his way to give us a ride to Deerpark Forrest walk, which is full of great walking or running trails beside the water. We had planned to go out to dinner in town, but ended up eating here every night because the food was so delicious. I'm vegetarian and was pleased with the veggie options (my favorite dish was the rhubarb goat cheese tarts) and my partner said the steak was the best he's ever had. Not to mention, the inclusive breakfast is made to order. All-around great experience :)

Glanbia Xmas party brilliant nite the food was excellent new ballroom done up stairs it's first class and so beautiful and so clean thanks to Maeve and Jim Brady and all staff for lovely nite.

Shower was cold, breakfast was awful, found a hair in my food, cleaners didn’t change my bed once in the whole week we stayed there. Definitely wouldn’t come back.

Location is great next to the lake however the hotel is very jaded. Needs modernising.

So I was in the hotel on the 7th — 8th of September and a friend of mine and I when to get a chocolate bar from the downstairs pub and one of the workers there followed my friend and I down stairs and asked us what we wore doing and my friend and I being sober at the time told him what we wore doing and he just look at the pair of us and said "right you two back upstairs now or I'll f**k you two out I don't care who's debs it is" and we just said ' we're hugary we're just getting a bar and well go up" and they he started to raise his voice and shouted "GET UP NOW! " And we followed what he said and then the rest of the night he followed us all around the hotel and night club I would not recommend this place at all.

Lovely outside but inside did not appeal. Bought 2 G&T's and one glass was dirty, the other had lipstick.

Popped in for dinner on way home from a match. The views are spectacular and the lady in charge was very friendly. Food was beautiful. I had the roast of the day and the portion size was huge. The place was extremely busy and there was a real warm atmosphere around the place. Will definitely be popping in again.

It is a lovely hotel, the food is amazing, the rooms are cosy, and the staff are fantastic especially Maeve who is very welcoming! The view is just beautiful, I will definitely be coming back!

Stayed over for business. Nice rooms, great view, good service, the young gentleman john-joe that was serving us was probably the hardest working and friendliest hotel staff member I've ever seen… Good stay overall.

The view of Lough Ramor from this hotel is stunning, even if its raining. The lobby and bar are tasteful and homely. There is a pool room and the toilets were clean and tidy. Staff were pleasant, and helpful yet they are understaffed. The breakfast was awful, none of us ate it. Evening meal and the beef was like leather, the sauce was divine, the tea pots were cheap and spilled everywhere. A beautiful location and bedrooms were ok, yet the one we had was out dated.
