We have wanted to try Yeats for a long time, the car park is always busy and the outside is very clean, well kept and inviting. We were so disappointed with the food and the service, it was such a let down from start to finish. When we arrived and placed a drinks order one of the drinks got forgotten. The kids food arrived after the adults meals. The portions were very small. One of the meals failed to arrive until after the rest of us had finished eating — the staff didn’t even notice one of us was missing a meal until we asked where it was! We left as soon as possible and we were still hungry! I’m afraid we won’t be going back.

Food was shocking. Not only were the chips not cooked, they tasted putrid. I'd advise people to avoid this place like the plague.

Stopped in on the way home from Donegal to Mayo without having made a reservation. No problem we were given a table, served by very pleasant staff and back on the road within an hour. Excellent service and good food in very nice outdoor dining area.

Called in today the 1st day of outdoor hospitality and all I can say is very well done management and staff, we were served with beautiful food and beverages in lovely soundings. 10 out of 10 all around.

Had fabulous afternoon tea there. Extremely well priced and there was copious amounts of beautiful food. Would highly recommend.

Lovely friendly waitress called Carmel.
Covid rules adhered to the letter.

Food is great passed threw there on way to sligo and went back again on the way home to cork.

We always stop here whenever we are passing, the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly.

Stopped off for a bite to eat on friday 14th on way to west port. We both ordered the southern fried chicken, what a disappointment, the food was horrible, presentation poor, we just could not eat it. Do not eat here.

Food absolutely brilliant and staff second to none. Highly recommend the Yeats.

Had a great party here celebrating my special birthday. Food was great & music in full flow.

We stopped here for lunch. Terribly over priced below average food. Struggled to eat any of it. Staff were friendly though.

Stopped by for dinner. Service was excellent as was the food. Beer selection was great and the cheesecake and coffee was delicious. Definitely a great place to stop for a bite to eat.

Myself and my partner stayed here and we both found this place to be pleasant, very good food, friendly helpfull staff, friendly and relaxing atmosphere. And we will definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay such a pleasant one. Hup Donegal.

Stopped in on the search for food. The place was packed which was a good sign. I had the chicken curry and my fiance had the lasagna. Both dishes were gorgeous. The staff were very helpful and pleasant also. Good heart food.

Stopped for some food on our way on holiday. Went in as we were passing and was impressed with the menu. Food also passed with full marks. I had lamb shank, good size portion along with a lovely jus, fresh veg. Other had fresh battered Cod. Only down side duck very dry and tough. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Would recommend. Prices not too bad either.

Nice and clean environment. Friendly and helpfull staff. It's just a wee bit out of the way of things and not much to do but will be excellent for people using it as just an overnight stay.

Great spot for breakfast. Have been here a couple times. Minor complaint — last time I was here, I ordered an extra sausage with breakfast — I got it, but the black & white pudding were not provided instead. Bit strange.

I stayed there last week the food was excellent the staff were very good the room was clean and tidy I would recommend it.

Clean old fashion type restaurant. As we only had breakfast as the only reason to be there, we were disappointed. Food not appetizing and the tea was cold. Won't use this restaurant again. I should have rated it a one star.

This hotel is magnificent;the staff are very nice and courteous. The Food is gorgeous and we have eaten there on numerous occasions. I havnt eaten in a restaurant where the food is continuously gorgeous. Mick the owner is so pleasent and helpful nothing is too much trouble for him absolutely endorse this place to the hilt 120% satisfied every time.

Nice good but their tempura prawns were pretty bad with batter being raw from inside. I asked them to fry the prawns again but batter was so thick that it remained the same.

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents because they r not on social media but that doesn't mean they should accept bad service an food so it begins today good Friday but for them it wasn't do dad orders mash potatoes cabbage and ham it was fine mum was unsure what she wanted but seen nice fish n chips going by so that made her mind up but when it came out it was a big let down fish looked like it was battered 3 or 4 times very brown an hard batter so her being in the catering industry for 50 years an still working in it brings it up to the waiting staff it was replaced with salmon an salad well what they called a salad very poor but any how mum ask for a tea an dessert menu tea never came an no one came to ask if they would like to order a dessert so mum got fed up an went up to pay bill an said to the waitress that she never got het tea an waitress reply was she had to boil the kettle twice not sure wat the relevance for that was an said no one came back to ask for dessert this service is not acceptable I am sure the owners would not be pleased losing out on desserts an teas an that's just for two people the definitely will not be back disappointed big time they have been going there for the last 7 years the time they were thete today was around 3

Food was amazing reasonably priced and staff were excellent.

Wonderful food selection and the staff were very cordial and when we asked what was on the dessert menu what a selection!
Our waitress Laura made our visit one to remember and we’ll be back when we’re in the area again just wish Donegal had such a restaurant at reasonable prices!

Good food quick and good Guinness.

This place was a nightmare! Went in for breakfast. There was two other customers as Well as us. 3 of us. They came over gave us the menu and never came back to us. So after 30 mins we got up and left! Talk about useless staff! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Who ever the manager is he should be looking for new fresh staff!

Perfect place to rest your head at a good price with facilities to suit everyone. Food is excellent and a wide choice with nothing overpriced. And finally the Guinness is perfect. I shall return very soon!

Food was quite good, probably the best in the area. Sat at a table by an emergency exit which was freezing and eventually asked to be moved, when my Mother in Law needed her coat on at the table. Would have been good if the staff had of noticed and taken proactive steps. Other than that, I should say staff were very busy, and very helpful. Be careful leaving the car park. There was a 4 car crash outside yesterday.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, however the food was terrible. First the wrong food came out then when they brough the correct food it was very cold as if it came from a freezer. Second time this has happened to me here inside one year. Very annoying as it is such a basic request.

Driving 4 hours taught the place looked OK! My chicken sandwich was full of black pieces soup was disgusting boiled bog water! Salty with lumps of God knows what partners hamburger was pink in the middle.

Great food, great staff. Great stopping spot. We were well impressed, came up from knock for tea. Got in b4 the rush.

Never get what we order always something missing! Chicken curry cold on two occasions and a chicken burger cold on another! 3 of us went up 1 night and orders steaks and only 2 main course were brought out and said it to them we waited a further 40mins for the steak and it never came so we paid and left with a very poor apology! The only thing saving them is their helpful and friendly staff!

Food well prepared and reasonable price… the best dishes on the menu at half price to ration children's… to part of have kids menu.

I really enjoy stopping here with my family while driving north from Galway to Donegal! Staff is very friendly and the steaks are good :)

What a great, and reasonably priced hotel! The rooms are large and clean, and have TVs and excellent bathrooms. Also, the service was quite friendly.
