What a great team of staff you have in your bar. Lovely food and every single one of your staff at the weekend are just amazing, helpful and attentive.

Stayed at Riverside Hotel last night, clean rooms, staff are friendly, will definitely be staying there again next time we are in sligo x.

Stayed for 1 night absolutely perfect room was spotless hotel was lovely staff were brilliant food was fantastic would highly recommended.

We had our wedding reception at the weekend for 27 people it was the best day/night Trevor and the staff were brilliant really helpful they catered for our every need and made sure our day ran smoothly. Food was fabulous Couldn’t recommend them highly enough to have a function in there venue.

Lovely friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. Great food and bar service. Lovely clean rooms. Even though the hotel was busy staff were very attentive. Would definitely recommend the Riverside, look forward to our next trip.

Great location on the river. Great staff and food was fabulous. Would definitely recommend a stay here and sligo itself has a lot to offer though covid did impact on the whole experience. Can't wait until we get back to normal. When things normalise will definitely consider revisiting.

Staff were amazing super welcoming and friendly. Made you feel very comfortable. Rooms were spotless clean. Food was lovely also. Myself and my boyfriend got a river view room which was stunning. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in sligo.

Couldn’t have been happier. Visited previously, but this time with our ASD son. Staff were so friendly and accommodating.
Mid week stay during rag week led to a fair bit of nighttime noise but night porters were lovely and did their very best to sort it out. Did not put us off in the slightest. Have been before and will go again.

Lovely rooms and spotlessly clean. Particularly liked the walk-in shower instead of having to clamber over bath sides. Food was excellent. Staff really friendly and helpful.

A great reception from staff. Room was absolutely spotless and one of the biggest beds I've slept in could not recommend this establiment enough will be BK soon.

Room was perfect with a great view over the river. Very clean. From check in to leaving everything was perfect. Polite staff, great food, and we will certainly be back again.

Clean, big rooms with all the mod-cons you need. The bar belonging to the hotel is also a good start to your evening out of town. Bars, restaurants and clubs are in walking distance. Great first impression.

Great position in Sligo, near the river and the center of the city. Great services and hotel and it is cheap. I'm having great time in here!

I only went to the bar and heard some music. Great bar wait staff. Very nice. It has a lovely location by the river. It seems like a very nice place. I did not stay in the hotel.

Had a function there on Saturday night — staff brilliant and special thanks to Yvonne the events manager couldn’t do enough for you and Basil you had the room looking amazing. Highly recommend booking riverside for a function. Thanks for a great night.

What a surprisingly great hotel. A wee gem right on the Garravogue river… Third floor room with a little balcony and fabulous river view. Room with a kitchenette, two sofas and an even larger flat screen TV than the one in the adjoining bedroom… Clean and spacious And well equipped. Staff friendly and helpful. Had a beautiful Sunday lunch served on the terrace. Good food and reasonably priced…

Having stayed in Sligo many times. I have tried a lot of different hotels. For me, riverside is the number 1. Great rooms. Great rates. Great staff.

We had a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party here last night in the private function room. Cannot recommend this place enough! Room was a perfect size for a function with own private balcony, buffet was gorgeous. The staff from start to finish were so helpful and honestly couldn’t do enough for us. The Bar man serving us (sorry I didn’t get your name) helped us so much with setting up the projector, and the music & keeping us all topped up for the night. Huge thanks also to Yvonne who gave us great advice and loads of help. Will definitely be back for any further parties!

Spent a lovely 3 nights in this hotel. Great location a lovely short river walk to town. Plenty of live music around the town with Hot House Flowers concert outdoors but all quiet back at hotel. Lovely river views from our room. The door of hotel leads you onto a river walk or option to cycle. Bike rental in hotel. Room and bathroom was comfortable and so fresh and clean. Breakfast was excellent. We had dinner one night. Great options on the menu. We were well satisfied with quality and certainly the price! Staff are friendly and helpful many of whom are young local staff. The Riverside Hotel will be our spot for all further visits to Sligo.

Very helpful service all round, if you ring ahead of your stay and request a space to be saved as a wheelchair user I found that they were more than glad to do this. Wheelchair accessible room was spotless and very comfortable and with a view over the river. Food in the restaurant both for breakfast and dinner was perfect and the staff were so lovely and helpful. Hotel is situated right on the river and is only a couple of minutes from the Town. We would definitely return and recommend.

Interesting hotel. Had a bussiness trip to Sligo and this was surprise of a 3 stars hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy. Service is very good. Staff kind. Self served breakfast was ok.

I had a wonderful breakfast. Place is clean, staff smiling and welcoming. And location is again so unique, beside the famous Sligo river and lovely swans and ducks. Never being inside but I have some views photography of the surrounding. Awesome location.

Very nice overnight stay, room spacious and comfortable, also nice and clean with view of Garavogue river. Bed very cozy and full irish breakfast and coffee first rate.

Lovely hotel … clean and tidy … good breakfast available. Right on the river edge. Lovely setting … not many car park facilities. But they go out off there way to help you out.

I had my son's christening in the forde room yesterday. This venue is amazing, the room was beautiful with a private balcony overlooking the river.
I would highly recommend it for any occasion! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic!
I'd like to say a special thank you to Basil for decorating the room, he really is so talented and helpful and also to Dave who made sure we were well looked after! Thanks to all the staff who worked hard to make sure we had a fantastic day!

Another great place for foods and drinks, also a Main Room for Business Meeting, and also Live Sports tv.

Had my daughter's christening here and the food was perfect. Big portion sizes, delicious food and lovely staff. Couldn't have asked for a better day.

Great hotel located in walking distance of the main town of Sligo. Rooms have the basic requirements tea / coffee, towels but no housecoats, irons or room safes. Parking is very limited at the hotel but there's plenty of free parking only 100 yards up the road on your left Most rooms looking onto to main street have balconies which is a extra bonus, would imagine that the rooms to the rear looking onto the water would have them aswell. Hotel has two lifts and a nice airy feel staircase leading to all floors which are clearly marked so don't worry about getting lost in a maze of corridors. Nice choice of draft beer and spirits at the bar and the menu would covered most people's taste buds. The staff are amazing from housekeeping to bar / kitchens and the reception team, guaranteed you will receive a warm welcome from these guys.

We had our wedding here on the 5/8/17. We had an amazing day. The staff are so attentive and their attention to detail was exceptional. The hotel was spotless. When arrived on the Thursday for our rehearsal they had just power hosed the balcony we were having our service on. They later had a carpet fitted to the balcony. That evening they check if we want to change to colour of the lighting. They thought of all the small details and it made to day seamless. Anyone considering a small intimate wedding I would recommend them 100%. The food was flawless. Everyone enjoyed it and almost 2 weeks later people are still talking about the food, how amazing the hotel looked and how well presented the staff were. Thank you all for making our day special.

Excellent location, lovely rooms / bathrooms. The Mill Bar is decently priced. The staff were very helpful. Didn't have a great sleep, it was either the bed or the mix of drinks. More likely the later!

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location, right on the banks of the Garavogue river. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Very helpful and pleasant staff. The hotel has a gym with some treadmills and exercise bikes. The front desk can also help organize bike rental. There is a restaurant and bar. An ample and very tasty breakfast is included in the B&B rate. Parking is limited but there is another large parking lot a short distance up the street.

The Riverside hotel is located by the Garravogue river and has really nice views of the river. The price was extremely good value and included breakfast. The room was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend staying here to anyone who is visiting Sligo. The only issue I would have is the parking. It is very limited at the hotel but they provided parking up the street but it's only a small thing.

Riverside is one of the best experiences that I have ever had in a hotel. This is a 3 stars with the soul of a 5 stars hotel. The staff will do everything to make you comfortable during your stay.

The guest suite was fantastic it had plenty of space and clean and the breakfast was top class couldn't ask for more. The staff were only too willing to help as well.

Great views from the rooms. Rooms spacious and modern. Unfortunately the hotel was very noisy when I stayed with other guests making lots of noise in the corridors and playing loud music in the rooms. Good breakfast but the dinner was not good, overcooked chicken and sauce that tasted like it had been sitting for days. Great location if going out and about in the city, recommended for one night stay if you don't want to eat there and are not planning on getting a lot of sleep.

A really nice place and very friendly owner. As for the food, wow they do serve generous portions and the quality is exceptional.

Stayed along with my wife for 2 nights during the Fleadh in Sligo this week. The location of this hotel is excellent as it is very close to town center but still located in quite area along by the river. The hotel has access to both sides of the river due to walk over bridge located at the hotel. The standard of the rooms were excellent and the service was top class due to willingness to help and assist with any queries that we had. I would would give this hotel 10 out of 10.

Thank goodness Sligo has got a hotel to hopefully inspire and lift the others in the town! Well done, whoever is behind it!

Very positively surprised. Not quite sure why this is only a 3 start. I have stayed in a ton of much worse 4 stars. But then I have no clue how the star systems works. This place is awesome. Clean, feels new. Friendly staff. The bed… Oh the bed. I'll be thinking of this mattress for a while. So good. Room with window to the river. Don't really have anything negative to say.

Exquisite food We hadn't planned to eat in the riverside but the menu drew our eye so we lingered on in. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome and It was a nice atmosphere. I was treated to a wonderful Halibut with a sauce vierge which I must say was cooked to perfection. 5 ***** from me cant strongly recommend enough.

Phenomenal, excellent function recently, staff excelled in every way, professionalism, friendly, courteous. Food delicious, service excellent, no detail was too much highly recommend, can't wait to go back for our next night out.
