This is without doubt one of the friendliest and most accomodating B&B's I have ever stayed in. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

The Rooms are absolutely spotless and would outscore 80% of Hotels
The Breakfast was excellent top class cooked to order.
The Propreitors were friendly and welcoming and it was all positive

TOTALLY WONDERFUL! Owners couldn't be lovelier or more welcoming. Rooms modern and immaculately clean. Food was delicious; they even shared their freshly cauggt trout!

I couldn't recommend this bnb enough. Staff friendly and such a warm atmosphere. Food was just perfect and loved how in the second morning they knew exactly how I liked my breakfast. I slept amazing as well. I will be back.

Staying 2 nights with breakfast. So upon arrival the owners were very friendly and guided us to the room. They do have a dog, medium sized when we arrived, but we were in and out often during the following day and the dog was barely around, very docile and friendly, even around kids. The bedroom we were in had a double bed and a single bed, both with 2 drawers underneath, there was a stand beside each half of the double bed and one next to the single bed, a hanger rail with some hangers on. Also had a TV, there was Wi-Fi available, but we didn't use it so can't say what it is like. Breakfast included cereals, fruit, juice and a choice to order a hot breakfast as well as tea or coffee. There is car parking space in front of the place. Overall an excellent stay, would recommend it.

Stayed here while working in the country owners are lovely people. The rooms are spacious and spotless and the breakfast was delicious. I'd highly recommend this place to anybody lookin to get the head down in Castlebar.

Cannot recommend this place more highly. Great welcome by the owners, clean and well-stocked rooms, and above all a superb breakfast laid on. Plus good pubs in the area. This was the standard that we later held other hotels/B&Bs to!

We were a group of 15 french motobikers… We were very welcomed by the keepers… Directly offered a coffee or a tea, something to eat. After the long way and the difficult night on the ferry from Cork, it was very appreciable… Rooms are very confortable, extremely clean and nice. The breakfast delicious… One bike had a problem… A piece had to be welded. The housekeeper found a man to fix it… It was done within an hour… Super job, weldel an painted… ON A SUNDAY EVENING! Just to say how nice and helpfull is Carragh House… It was the nicest place we stayed on 7… I do recommend it…
