We attended a wedding there last weekend and I couldn’t praise the hotel enough. A beautiful hotel, really spacious rooms, place was absolutely spotless, gorgeous food and the nicest staff I have ever meet. I will definitely be back.

Tks 2 all staff we had dads 80th Saturday evening food was fab and staff was so lovely.

Why would anyone have there child's communion here, we had a child's communion booked here and gave a deposit and they decided to close when restrictions would have allowed us to dine outside and they still have not refunded our deposit. Almost ruined the childs big day thank god another Hotel accommodated us.

Stayed here last Friday night 22nd October. Fabulous hotel, very clean and very helpful staff. Bedrooms were spacious and clean

Overall a beautiful Hotel.

Today we had 10 dishes between us and every one of them was spectacular. The duck, salmon and steak in particular deserve a mention. Well done to the chef and team. Gordon Ramsey himself couldn’t find fault. 10/10 Hotel itself is excellent. Relaxed atmosphere, clean and friendly. Staff are pleasant and professional. 10/10 Easy parking, 10/10 Room (we had a suite) it was nice however I would say that it could be even better. It was missing the wow factor. Mattress should be 5 star but isn’t. Bed squeaks (yeah yeah) and the coffee machine didn’t work. Small details would turn this from 4 star to 5 Star. 8/10 As for the drink the Guinness was really good as was the Carlsberg. Wine was perfectly acceptable. 10/10

We had our wedding on Saturday can't even explain they went above and beyond for me and my partner. Didn't have to question anything they went over expectations staff good Pawel Lester amazing.

Such a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is very clean and the restaurant food was very good. Want to especially mention the hotel seems to have alot of young local teenagers working on site which are a credit — extremely polite, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend to family and friends.

Raheen Woods Hotel is a hidden Gem, fabulous Hotel, Friendly Staff, food Scrumpious, Room with Balcony was great especially in the Hot weather, would highly recommend this Hotel.

Stayed for one night with my wife and two teenage kids, absolutly beautiful hotel, staff were just amazing, food and drink was just super, thanks Elaine for everything too, see you all again soon after nikoles operation. ❤❤🙏🙏

I just had the best takeaway dinner from the Raheen Woods, ever since lockdown getting takeaway is just not the same as going to a restaurant for food, but after tonight it was just as nice. I cannot recommend the food enough. Also which made the experience even better was Joe who served us. My boyfriend wanted to get cocktails for my birthday (while we were picking up our food) and as it was a busy evening and would be a while for the cocktails to be made Joe went out of way to deliver the cocktails to our door 🥰 So happy to have a place like this close by especially in times like these ☺️

Very well managed hotel from the owners and management to bar staff and waitresses. Any thing we wanted they were more than happy to accommodate. The wedding was the best I've ever attended and pulled out all the stops 5* all they way well done everyone.

Stayed there this weekend and loved it! Staff were so helpful and friendly, rooms were so clean and spacious, food was phenomenal. Would 100% go back!

Beautiful hotel, inside and out. Staff are so helpful and courteous. Had fabulous lunch today with four friends and did not want to go home. Sat in the garden afterwards with our coffees,, and the flowers and shrubs are beautiful. Ambience was perfect.

Had an absolute fab time with these two snappingbhave t go but miss my other babies at home highly recommend the Raheen Woods Hotel I mean its absolutely amazing spotless clean the staff are the nicest people I have ever met in my life couldnt do any more for us definitely be back again food is gorgeous nothing over priced rooms huge an spotless pool play centre everything different need to leave the place.

We had our wedding on 6th July 2019 in the Raheen Woods Hotel. When we first met lester, frances, Oisin and Catherine to say they where outstanding is an understatement. From the very first meeting with them they where so friendly and made us feel so welcomed. They where there from start to finish and even to this day everytime we would go to the hotel we would still get the same reception from them. Everything we asked for was never an issue, we never felt rushed or unsure of any decisions everything was so well organised leading up to the big day. On the big day itself we had absolutely no issues, the lovely catherine and oisin minded us for the day, it was so relaxed and timed to perfection. As for the food it was beautiful and plenty of it. The hotel itself is stunning and as for the function room it was beautiful. The staff at the raheen woods where exceptional, professional and very friendly. We cannot Express our thanks to the raheen woods on making our wedding day truly amazing. We would highly recommend the raheen woods. Thanks Mark & Fiona Naughton.

Brilliant hotel, great service and outstanding staff.

Had a meal in the bar… Was waiting 30 minutes to be served, was ignored several times by staff, got up moved tables and eventually got served. Meal was fantastic, service excellent when I got it, but was waiting ages.

A Beautique hotel in beautiful surroundings With all the modern touches including free Wi-Fi. Fabulous friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Rooms are very spacious and beds are made every day with fresh towels and all the different elements you may need replenishing.

Absolutely amazing hotel venue. Could not recommend enough. From the moment we booked our wedding we were so looked after. An amazing team of staff. Particularly Francis and Oisín. Thanks again for everything.

They have the weddings down to a fine art, everything is done so professionally. The greatest asset is their staff. They just go above and beyond. This is our second wedding out of three here this year and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

Had top class service again at the weekend for our sons communion… Lester and the team looked after us very well and the food was excellent as always.

Had the pleasure of attending a wedding Saturday. What can I say only outstanding service, staff were amazing and as for the meal just wow best weddings meal had in years. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Looking forward to going back with my husband.

Been here lots and usually love it and food is gorgeous but sadly bought family who are here on holiday here today for lunch and were served by the rudest waitress I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. She was rude from start to finish and her colleague was just as bad. Gutted as were really looking forward to lunch and she completely ruined it. Won't be hurrying back sadly.

Too many rules from new staff. I won't be using this hotel again after many years of use. Unfortunate as it's ideally situated for my needs.

My husband and I got married on the 23/6/18 and had our reception in the Raheen Woods hotel. From our first encounter with Frances and Oisín we were very impressed with the venue and what it had to offer.
Big thank you to Catherine and Oisín who couldn’t do enough for us on the day! Ps Frances, no need to worry when your away, Catherine is a mini version of you!

Very nice hotel. Food is good. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I was in for lunch with two small kids and they were very helpful with high chairs and kids menu. Prices are responsible. A very enjoyable lunch.

We picked the Raheen Woods as our wedding venue because of all of the little extras offered in the package. We had also been to a wedding there a few years back and really enjoyed our experience as guests. As a half Irish/half Scottish wedding we were delighted to see the option of a bagpiper came as part of the package! We were not disappointed.
We live in Scotland so planning a wedding from abroad could have been tricky but the Raheen Woods made it easy for us. We had a couple minor issues which we had to raise with the hotel during planning but in all our dealings the hotel staff were professional, courteous, and everything was resolved to our satisfaction.
Frances in particular was an absolute star in the lead up and particularly the day before when the groom and groomsmen were setting up. She had great advice on the best way to do things and helped with setting up the tables the way we wanted but also in a way that worked for them. She even helped assemble our cake for us the morning of the wedding!
On the day the staff could not have been more accommodating to us and to our guests. Many of our guests’ feedback was on how great the staff were, always making sure everyone was happy. We had several guests with dietary requirements and they all reported being very well catered for. Our three-year-old nephew at one point had a meltdown during dinner and my sister said the staff were very attentive, seeing if they could help in any way.

Fantastic hotel had all the perks of a high end hotel with the added bonus of the kids adventure place out the back beside the pool. The kids LOVED it especially after a 4 hour drive it was perfect to stretch their wee legs, hotel was fantastic and just the right distance from Galway. Will 100% be back.

Ruth and I were married in the Raheen Woods last Friday the 25/5/18, from our very first encounter with the staff and the location, we were blown away. Frances, Lester, Brian and Oisin could not have been more helpful and accommodating and they catered to our every need. We were so impressed by the service that all the staff provided to us on the lead up to our wedding day and the day itself. The location is beautiful and the food that we were served on the day cannot be matched. We have spoken with a number of our guest since the day and everyone has raved about the friendly and professional staff and the family atmosphere they experienced throughout their stay at the Raheen Woods. If anyone is the process of looking for their perfect location on their big day, look no further than the Raheen Woods and their staff. Frances, Brian, Oisin and Lester catered to our every need and request throughout the whole wedding process without query. We wanted our day to be perfect and we set our expectations very high and I can honestly say that our expectations were met and then exceed by a great deal. At a wedding today great staff food was lovely. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

By far the worst bistro I've ever been in. Was there today at a Communion. Dinner was reserved for 2.30 but table wasn't even ready till near 4.30. Ages waiting for the food, soup tasted like pepper and the bread came after most were done with the soup, butter came when bread was gone. Waitress was very rude when politely asked for the bread. The dinner finally came forever later. Beef was chewy, veg was raw, I mean 100% raw and the portion sizes were tiny, not that it mattered because it tasted too bad to eat. Then onto the dessert, the cheesecake wasn't even fully defrosted and the spoons were dirty. Coffee came round and was followed with another wait for the milk. Kids were also served last for dinner and dessert. Infact all adults were done with their desserts before the kids got theirs. Just wish it I could leave 0 stars but unfortunetly the lowest rating I can give is 1. Do not go here!

All was perfect exept the heat, not acceptable special when you have kids.

We came across this place by chance, we seen a sign for it on the motorway on our way back from Galway and said sure we'll pop in for dinner. The bar/restaurant area was really nice and the food was great, I got the roast beef and had it devoured in 5 minutes I'd say. Only thing I'll say is the chocolate fudge cake was a bit dry and it came out with mint ice cream instead of vanilla which u thought was weird but all in all a great experience and would definitely visit again if we where in the area.

Visited the Raheen Woods Hotel for a couple of family functions lately and it was flawless, great food, superior service and all reasonably priced. The dinning areas are really roomy & pretty which creates previcy for the party at each table. Highly recommend a visit it's conveniently located near the M6 in the heritage town if Athenry.

The hotel is lovely but the bar could be better. Food hasn't been great there lately and several times the tea cups have stank like wet dog/ smelly feet!

There for a wedding I did not stay over. Probably the nicest wedding food I've ever had. Hotel and grounds were impeccable only small thing would be the dance floor is a bit on the small side for larger weddings.

Business meeting. Nice place. Plenty if private spots to discuss. Enjoyed lunch after.

Had a really beautiful meal in this hotel. It was late afternoon mid week when we called in. The service was excellent we were waiting a while for the food it it was worth the wait. Not one issue with the four in our party really excellent. Would definately visit again.

Fantastic facilities in athenry. A few minutes walk outside the town, but in an easily accessible location. Staff in the leisure centre are always very helpful and friendly.

Room was very spatious, clean and well equipped. The dinner at the restaurant was a bit of a letdown. One would expect great taste and presentation from a place like this, but we ate better at pubs around Galwayand were let down by the quality in a fancy restaurant like the Raheen Woods. The food is not bad, but if you have time you could find better near the hotel. Next time we would not eat here again. Good for family dinner but would 't recommend for business dinner. The breakfast was better, no complaints there. Staf was very friendly.

Only dined here for lunch in the bar on a few occasions and honestly food is not great. Very expensive for what you get. Only for convenience with buggys etc would not be hurrying back.

Fab hotel. We were there for an evening meal with kids and friends. Staff was a pleasure to deal with, answered every one of our child related requests without a fuss, and we had many. Gorgeous interior design. Food was great, by far the best vegetarian meal I ever had. We went for the cajun vegetable pasta and it was delicious! Strongly recommend to anybody, child friendly, superb kids menu. Top marks, well done to all.

The hotel itself, the service & the staff were great. The room was a little dated, but clean & spacious. The food however was a let down, both room service and cooked breakfast were below par.

Fab hotel. The more I think about it since my stay the more I loved it. Staff… they were unreal. The front of house. Bar. Restaurant they were all so lovely and friendly. If ever I'm back in that part. I know where I'll be stayin. Reasonably priced and just a lovely hotel.

I had a lovely love Easter break in this hotel with my 5 year old daughter, and I cannot rate it enough. When we arrived to our family room, the hotel staff had an Easter egg left in the room for our daughter which of course she was delighted with. The pool was great, water was not cold and the staff at reception very friendly. The food was amazing on both evenings, and the wine was fab. Oisin the Hotel manager was very accommodating and all the staff were just really nice and friendly. There was an activity play area on the ground floor, which was great for my daughter as she had hours of fun. The spa has crèche facilities so if like myself you were travelling alone with a little one you wont miss out. I have stayed in many hotels with my daughter and this one was by far the best, as my daughter was entertained and it was all just very easy going. This is my second year staying here with her, and I will be returning again very soon.

Stayed here with my partner for two nights over St Patrick's Day and I couldn't fault it at all Such a lovely hotel and the staff couldn't have been anymore pleasant or helpful Such a great location away from all the hussle and bussle of Galway which is an AMAZING city btw lol Ten minute walk from the train station and it takes you in to the heart of Galway City in 15minutes Highly recommend Will definitely be staying again :)

This is a beautiful hotel it is a pity about some of the staff who are very rude and use bad language at their customers, and are not baby friendly. I would not recommend this hotel.
