It is truly five-star hotel. The room is so convenient and large. Fabolous and superb. It is exactly at the centre of Medan City and highly recommended for family to stay. We have stayed here several times, and will come back again for future visit to Medan. ☺️

Everyone is welcoming and professional. Nice high floor rooms and so modern facilities. Pool is also nice with staggering views of Medan. I recommend the corner rooms which you can get almost 180° view with the electric-operated curtains.

This hotel is elegant and refined in appearance, but the real joy of the place is the staff, who without exception were excellent in every way. They all provided that lovely and quite rare combination of courteous and positive informality with a very high level of administrative and professional skill that is the hallmark of really good hospitality. I would return to this hotel if in Prague without hesitation.

When we arrived we found out that our rooms were taken. They were able to upgrade one room to an exclusive which was an amazing room. The it her room though had to be a smoking room and we were quite disappointed. The room was quite smoky. The pool is beautiful and they have a gym as well. The room service was great and the breakfast was excellent. Overall I did u have a good experience except for the room.

Excellent stay and service. I was here the other week and enjoyed my time. The morning breakfast is an experience. Fantastic food and they have everything you could want. Perfect location in the center of town and close to the main mall.

We spent six nights for Christmas week.
The hotel is very good, the staff super helpful (especially the breakfast waiters who were really charming) there is not so much tourism that originated elsewhere than in Indonesia so they are really small onions with us and our daughter Four years.
Room Service Super efficient.
And the food was particularly good. A lot of choice at the buffet. We loved our stay.

Very good services from all staff, very friendly, captain of the F&B section is especially helpful excellent services at all F&B. Room is nice and clean. But room temperature control seemed not really working, it was cold at 23 degree c, we adjusted it to 27. Seemed still cold…

Very friendly staffs and service, room were big and nice. Just a little bit cleaner and brighter decor will help, especially the floor covering. But I still will stay in future as I used to be when visiting Medan.

One of the best and luxurious hotel in Medan, the room is spacious and offered with a bathtub. Breakfast is available with a great range of selection. Service staffs are very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommended for business and leisure traveller.

Very nice hotel, with very good equipment and restaurants (Chinese, Best of Medan, Buffet Hotel restaurant and steak House in basement, this last topissime! )

Exactly what I expect from a 5 star hotel. Super comfy and big rooms, all is well maintained. Food is galore. Located strategically in the middle of everything, taxi will only cost around 3 usd to go to train station. It might not be that close to attractions that you can walk, but Medan isn't a pedestrian friendly city anyway. It's a Marriott without the annoying paranoid security control like they have in Jakarta.

Probably the best hotel in town! Ballroom is good, and hygiene as well. Food could be better, like any aging building, JW Marriott medan will need constant renovation and updates to keep up with new and upcoming competitions. For now, the throne remains theirs!

I think the best hotel in town. Great hospitality, awesome food and very nice rooms! 1hr away from KNO airport as there is always a lot of traffic. Taxi costs between 150k and 200k IDR…

Amazing hotel in a difficult city with a young child. We spent the Christmas time there.
Morning Buffet completely… perfect! Choice, quality, personalized service. Far from home, we were able to find the holiday season, decorations, Santa Claus, gifts in the room.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice breakfast selections. Spacious room with comfortable bed. The only downside is that the room is a bit old and need some maintenance improvement in order to keep up to the standard of JW Marriott. Overall we had a good experience in this hotel.

The room quite spacious and comfortable. The kids really enjoy spending time in the room. The breakfast also good. Sure will come back again for another visit.

I love this place. Their breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet is superb. Not to mention it located in center of the city.

This hotel deserve its stars. I love the spa and swimming pool here, it also has a fitness center with quite enough of gym machines.

Its good city center hotel. High traffic jam area. Good facilities. Good room design. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi is chargeable and the mobile connection is poor. The lobby entry is also messy and kids screaming that destroyed the mood.

Great five star hotel in Medan. Building quality is very good with excellent facilities. Good for biz trip or vacation. Food and beverages is excellent with several food variety from western, asian, and traditional food. Surely will stay at this hotel for next biz trip.

This the best hotel in Medan. Comfortable rooms with complete facilities. No need to go-outside the hotel for searching Medan's foods and taste. All foods are ready in the restaurants (go down for breakfast and room services) as complete as hotel facilities (ie: great swimming pool and othe restaurants near the lobby). Goodness, I just couldn't believe how good this hotel really is. Everything is just perfect — the service, the room, the spa, the breakfast, the lunch, the dinner, and the overall atmosphere. I've had such a wonderful memory staying in this place, and I'd certainly be coming back again.

Beautiful Medan city view while swimming after gym. Function rooms are big and can be splitted into two rooms to make it smaller. My favorite breakfast/lunch menu in these three days are chicken feet, pouch egg, baked potato, tuna, rendang, and some types of sweet cakes.

All very well, but if straws with dollars is best tickets to be immaculate because but not accept them.

Staff is friendly. Checkin a bit slow. Food is great and priced well. Internet speed is great throughout hotel. Breakfast was amazing. Gym is great. Rooms are very nice with fridge. Huge grocery store right behind hotel carries everything you need. Great hotel so far.
