Sulawesi Hotels

Bira.
A place where words will always fall short when I try describing it…
A beautiful place that allows stillness of the mind. It dampens noise and sharpens your senses, especially your sight.

Beautiful place, with an amazing and very attentive staff and an owner who is always ready to help with anything you need.

Harper Hotel Makassar is a great choice if you want a cozy stay close to the airport but away from the busy city center.

This hotel is a typical airport hotel, within just 10 minutes driving distance. You don’t stay here because of the neighbourhood.

We were very pleased with the kindness and professionalism of the staff (special compliments to Elizabeth and Adriawan!

Everything was perfect! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast had a great variety of delicious options.

Quite decent. In terms of location, literally next to a mall so that's a plus. The hotel itself is quite old but well-preserved.

I had such a great experience to be here. The staff were super friendly, and the location is really convenient—right in the heart of Panakukang.
But the highlight? Definitely the food!

Stayed here for 3 nights with my parents including breakfast and had a really pleasant stay.

Best Hotel in Makassar today. Good service and hospitality. Location is good, easy access to go around the city. Room are nice and clean.

I love it here! Stayed for 4 nights as a solo traveler and it was a fantastic experience.

Bery pleased with the overall experience. The service was fast, professional and exceeded my expectations. Everything was handled smoothly and the quality was exceptional.

Beautiful service. Rooms are clean. Reception desk services are exceptional. Security guys done a great job too.

Aston Manado Hotel and had a very pleasant experience.

We stayed 22 days on this hotel (705) overlooking the beautiful dormant volcano (mt.

Nice hotel with affordable price in the middle of Manado city, beautiful city view especially at night.

One of the best places I have ever stayed at:
— everyone was super nice and attentive.
— the dive guide, Eugen, Made sure we were always safe and showed us many cool creatures.

In my books this is a 5+ star dive resort. We are here to dive and dive we did. This Padi Resort fitted all of our needs:
1) excellent location — right on the beach with our dive boats 4 meters away.

A little gem in Bira! The bungalows are perfect and very reasonably priced, with different sizes depending on your budget.

Perfect for those seeking tranquility and beautiful views of Bira Beach. The traditional room design creates a sense of being at one with the surrounding nature.

It was an amazing experience, the rooms were fantastic, the food delicious, and the service incredible (had a very nice time with the staff). The beaches were also majestic, a very nice place to be.

Very nice stay. Lovely bungalows and friendly staff helpful for all needs. Food was pretty nice too.

I had a good experience at Phinisi hostel. Staff is helpful but indifferent, rooms are clean but breakfast was lackluster.
Big commen area with nice views over the ocean.

Great view. Nice ambiance, all made of wood. Great terraces above the waves. Very close to the harbor which is great to catch an early ferry.

Nice room. Everything worked well from AC, TV, hot shower. It got sajadah but no mukena. Water heater (for drink) was a bit rusty, but there was a dispenser on hotel hallway.

It is an old hotel near the Losari Beach.
It is really close to the 'pusat oleh-oleh' at Somba Oou street.
The breakfast is okay. Just quite weird that they served liquid creamer.

Me and my wife had a wonderful stay at Hotel Santika Makassar. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional.

Staying 2 days here was an experience. This hotel is good location because near to Pantai Losari and center city. Food is delicious.

Thank you Marlah, for all the tips, and care about us! and thank you to Sacar for his attention. It's a home feeling! Very well located, there are restaurants, coffee shops, and all you need around.

We had a great stay at Ge JacMart Homestay. Its strategic location near Losari beach allows you to walk to some street food stalls/ convenience stores and see a beautiful 99 domed mosque.

We enjoyed our 7 days stay here very much. The owner is a very nice guy, who can help arrange transport, snorkeling and tours for a reasonable price.

The owners are super friendly and kind. All the guest rooms are on the second floor, it feels like staying in a treehouse. There is a refreshing sea breeze and it’s located directly on the beach.

We stayed at the hotel as a family in August 2024. The accommodations are very decent with hot water available all day for a shower. The beds are good. The location is good in Rentepao.

The lodge is a small family hotel near Rantepao. A town center with restaurants and shops could be reached on foot in about 15 minutes; I was always driven there though.

We only stayed one night here, but Mimin really made a lasting impression on by partner and I.
The room was perfect for recovering from a long journey, and A/C works great!

A really great place to stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and exactly what you need to relax. But what truly makes this homestay special is the people.

+centrally located.
+very nice and helpful staff.
Rooms are a bit dated, but clean. Beds are on the harder side (which I like).
Good for meeting other travellers.

We had a lovely 4 days stay in this hostel. Everything is clean and the staff is very helpful. Especially Mrs Rina who got in touch with the immigration to allow us to extend our visa.
