Disclaimer — we didn't stay at the resort, but one of the lovely 2 bed 'bukit pool suites' just around the corner, which are run by the same thoughtful owners. So this review relates to the restaurant :) And what can I say really. I don't think there are words to describe how much I love this restaurant. I own an organic food business. I know food. I love food. I also am a pretty hard task master when it comes to service. I cannot fault Kokomo. The staff is unbelievable. Whatever you want them to be, they will be. Simple serve and go — that's what they'll do; hang around for a friendly chat and some banter — you got it; a bit of both — no problem; want something served on the side, cooked differntly, or a dish not on the menu? — they'll do their best to accommodate. We wandered down on our first day for a long snorkel in front of the restaurant (really great considering how well used it has been by local fishing boats) and the wait staff brought us all a chilled glass of water, just because they recognised us, although we were not staying at the resort. But I've neglected the best bit — the food! Holy smokes, the food (and drinks! ) is off the chart. Every single thing we ate was outstanding. Quite a lot of the greens come from the kitchen's large garden, and the rest of the produce is first class. We (a family of 4 with 2 teens) were there for Christmas and we felt very spoilt and lucky.

It’s the only luxury resort in Gili Gede and beautiful environment and lots of activities you can do during your stay and can do islands hopping and enjoy the beautiful sunset and just enjoy a quiet moment.

Stopped in for lunch, food was amazing, service was great. Looked at the rooms for our next stay on the Island of Gili Gede, they were gorgeous well appointed super clean with attention to detail. Would definitely stay here.

This beautiful resort gave my Wife and I the most incredible wedding that one couldn't imagine possible. I don't know where to even begin. We were given a fairy tale wedding that will live with us and our guests for the rest of our lives. The Villas are 10/10 and you are surrounded by absolute beauty! The owner and staff are 10/10. They are incredibly sincere and understanding in every single way possible. Norma, the owner of Kokomo is alone a clear indication of why this ma…gnificent place is such a success. She is by far one of the most incredible beings I have ever met and will return to this resort year after year because of her. Her Son Mathew and business party Tony where absolutely professional in organizing everything and their business Gili Getaway is brilliant for excursions and island hopping. They also have Airbnb villas in Bali, so don't hesitate to ask them about that as well. All managers and staff were attentive, professional and made us feel like family. The food is delicious and has a great selection to choose from the menu. Whoever is reading this, I can promise you nothing but the best and one of the most memorable experiences of your life. Beautiful resort in a fantastic setting. The staff will do anything they can to make your stay memorable. Delicious menu, very friendly place. Perfect for relaxing.

We stayed 5 days and wished we had stayed longer. We booked the beach front bungalow but opted for the villa with private pool after we were shown around the resort by the manager, Wayan. It was a tough call but we just hiked Machu Picchu and wanted quiet secluded isolation. I was blown away by the meticulous design of the villa. Beautiful sloped ceiling with uplighting for softness at night-lighting. Indoor/outdoor showers with sinks inside for brushing teeth or putting on make up without the 100% humidity outside. The bed facing the pool and the sea to wake up at sunrise and retractable awning to block the sunlight if you want to sleep in. Every corner was designed to meet every specific need in a logical manner and the panoramic view from sliding fold-away patio doors opened the villa into an indoor-outdoor slice of heaven. My partner and I have traveled to 75 countries and slept in thousands of 5star hotels or home rentals and none is this well thought out. On our second night at dinner, we found out why. The co-owners, Norma is an interior designer; Linda, her daughter is a sommelier; and Matthew, her son is a chef, invited us to their dinner table and we got to know each other and a lot about this island. As a chef myself, I could write pages of review on how beautiful and delicious the food is but that would be pale in comparison to the meticulousness of the service.

Feel bored with Gili T? I would like to recommend you to visit Gili Gede. Unspoiled paradise for who wanna escape from stress and crowdedness. Located nearly Bali and you can go by Gili Gateway boat from Serangan Harbour. The trip approximately take 1.30 hour from Bali. Komomo GilI Gede just located in the heart of Gili Gede with Indian ocean view and yo can enjoy sunset in their jetty.

Absolute gem of a place! Fantastic staff and service. Beautifully designed and well maintained villas. Well considered menu and excellent food. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the great hospitality on offer. Highly recommend the boat excursions and snorkeling.

What a special place! My boyfriend and I spent three nights in the ocean-view villa and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. We loved our private villa pool and eating at the restaurant right by the beach. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. This place is a true gem: luxury without the crowds. The manager, Wayan, was very welcoming and does a wonderful job leading his staff. They made us feel more special and appreciated than any of the hotel chains that I have status with do. I'd love to go back very soon!

I would definitely recommend Kokomo’s for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. It is set in a beautiful location with views across the bay. The staff are very helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was memorable. We went on a snorkelling tip to a couple of islands nearby and would recommend doing this. The food is amazing. We stayed in the 2 bed villa which is beautiful. Will defo come back here — truly memorable.

The perfect place to to relax. Not very crowded. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful beaches everywhere. Other small island reachable within 10-40 mins by boat. And snorkeling is a blast there. The food was excellent. Room was very clean. So I only can recommend this Hotel.

Amazing island and magnificient hotel! Wow, it was such a nice experience to visit
such unspoiled island. Hotel staff is doing everything they can to ensure that your stay will be as good as possible. Villas with ocean view are very spacious, very well equipped, extremely good maintained by the staff during your stay. Dining is very good, of course much more expensive that in case of other hotels on the island but here you pay for the quality and exclusiveness of the place.
Guest can also use bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and snorkelling masks for free. We tried biking around the island and it was fun to see how people on the island are living their live and encounter how friendly the are too.
What I also liked is that the resort is a "high-end" place but you can feel that it was designed not to spoil the atmosphere of the place. Strongly recommended!

Nice location and nice food, poor snorkeling.

Wow what an experience! Gede is a hidden treasure that is so easy to get to from Bali on the fast boat which is quick and comfortable. Kokomo… This place ticks every box for my wife and family. We all had an unforgettable time. 5star accommodation (huge villa with private pool. The most comfortable bed we've slept in), 5 star service (attentive, genuine locals), the quality of the food is remarkable which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay, and is very well priced. Walking around the island today (our last day-now we are back in Bali) made me realise how lucky we were to be on this beautifully unique and tranquil island. We will definitely be back :)

Kokomo gili gede nice place to chilled out.

Attended a wedding at kokomos, absolutely stunning. Staff here are wonderful, very attentive. Food is the best I have had in Indonesia. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. They thought about everything! I couldn't more highly recommend.

One of the greatest island around lombok, and sure one of the best resort in lombok. Great view, great beach without big swell, great accomodation and a amazing food. Owner, owner rep and staff are extremely nice.

Just arrived from holiday in Bali I spent a few days in KOKOMO in Gili Gede and the truth that they were wonderful days, the people who work in the Resort is super nice and friendly thing that other places do not see as much. My first impression was WOW that place more cool and quiet and with views of luxury. For those who are looking to spend a few days of relaxation, tranquility and enjoy a few fantastic days, this place I recommend them one hundred percent.

The ultimate in kicking back a gear or three. Beautiful beaches, excellent staff and food to die for. The accomadation is every one of the stars and then some. Norma has done it to perfection. If you want activities you can have them, paddle boarding, kayaking with black tip sharks, snorkeling, fun fishing and big game fishing, tennis and they even installed a chipping a putting green for those of you who like to keep on top of their short game. It's very simple, you need to come here and enjoy it.

Perfect place for the perfect vacations. I juste loved loved loved so much my stay at Kokomo. It was so hard to leave. The place was unspoiled and tourist free which is now a luxury. The food was amazing and breakfast / dinner with the sea view was just heaven. The staff was the best, so gentle and careful about averything. Special thanks to Tony and Wayan who made my stay really special. I highly recommend this place!
