NEVER BOOK HERE!
I had a booking with this property but could not make it due to the death of a close family member. I contacted the owner asap to cancel and in the cirsumstances ask for a refund but first she tried to fob me off with the excuse that I should contact booking. Com as the payment and cancellation had nothing to do with her. Once I contacted them, I found out that this was a lie as only the owner can release the booking fee.
When I contacted the owner again, suddenly it was not booking. Com who decided but her answer was now just no.
No understanding or attempt at compromise such as refunding 50% or even 25%.
I have never in my life experienced such a lack of service.
You would expect at least a degree of understanding given the circumstances but the answer was just a cold callous no. We don't care if you come or not, we will keep the money.
So please whatever you do, don't book here. The service is appalling and once they have your money, they couldn't care less about you and if any exceptional circumstances prevent you from coming such as a death in the family.
