The receptionist, Welly, was very responsive in answering all our enquiries. She greeted us with a big smile and was very friendly. She provided a lot of useful info for our stay and experience in jogja. Despite the customer service, the condition of the villa was not what was expected.
Firstly, right after we entered we could see that the pool was not well maintained. With cracked and discoloured tiles. Black mold could also be seen on the circumference of the pool.
Once we entered the bedroom, it felt so stuffy. We checked the entire bedroom and found dust everywhere. Dust was flying every time we moved the duvet. The bed frame was so dusty we had to get allergies medicine. There was also cobwebs on the wall. Our feet would frequently get dirty from walking around the room without slippers. Would be great if they provided some house slippers.
The toilet had a rusty gas tank for the heater. The sink and shower area had mold around it. The water pressure coming from the tub and the shower wasnt strong either.
As for breakfast, we appreciate that they could accommodate to our time as we wanted it to be served earlier. The food wasnt too bad, but unfortunately there was a strand of hair on one of the cake. One of the bowls provided was also chipped.
It was a 'private' villa but we could hear everything that was going on in the other villas.
Overall, the service was great, but the cleanliness and amenities has got a lot to improve.
