Not recommending this hotel at all and what I got is totally different from what they advertised. I booked a room with no balcony and they gave me the room on the ground floor right beside receptionist — with deposit of your ID card or driving license. And here are the pros and cons I found during my stay:
Pro:
— AC is working properly. It's quite cold.
— Wifi coverage is all great. Have no problem at all.
— bed quality is okay. Have found ones way worse than this.
— there is water dispenser at the lobby. Just bring your own tumbler.
— it's located within a cluster housing complex — so it's quite serene. And it's really nearby ICE BSD, which is really strategic.
Cons:
— the room reeks of cigarette smell. Despite a non smoking room, found a lot of cigar butts outside the window.
— it's like what has been advertised, but ya… no toothbrush or so as the amenities. Just a soap dispenser.
— they forget to give the towels and bottled water — until I ask to the receptionist.
— the bed sheet is torn. Had to snap a pic in case I got charged for it.
— there's no smart TV.
— it's no balcony, but the window got blocked by a wall — which hinders the sunlight.
— the closet and sink is dirty, like has been unattended for a long time.
— I don't know where it comes from but after sleeping for a while, there are some small rubbles on the bed.
— there are mosquitoes inside the room.
— on the second day, my room's power got shut. Turns out the electricity token to my room hasn't been topped up — overhearing from the staff's conversation.
— no trash can or tissue provided inside the room, which should be one of the basic necessities.
So far… it's not really up to standard and quite far from what has been advertised. I assume that this is because i've booked the room with special promo from Tik*t. Com — so I got the spare one… maybe? Don't know but sure it felt like that 😅
Maybe to avoid the bad experience, just book the room with balcony and not the cheapest one — perhaps you'll get the good experience. But ya, I won't give this place a second visit to test that out 😅
