• Parking space is limited, and there is no clear parking guidance, so I had to park at the Alfamart parking area across the street from the hotel. There is also no parking ticketing system in place.
• I stayed in a VIP Junior Suite. The room was fairly clean and featured large windows with a direct view of the beach. The room size was adequate for a family with two children.
• The bathroom was not sufficiently clean, and the shower water pressure was very weak and hot water was not in function. In addition, there was no water in the rinse area, forcing us to rinse off in the bathroom. With such low water pressure, it was very difficult for both me and my children to shower comfortably.
• There was no telephone in the room to order food or request additional amenities, such as towels, which were not provided at check-in.
• The boundaries of the room area were unclear, resulting in other guests sitting on the balcony area of the room and smoking. There was no clear separation between smoking and non-smoking areas. I expected a higher level of comfort since I chose a higher room category, but the experience did not justify the price paid.
• Without prior notice or proper respect for guest privacy, two staff members entered the balcony area to repair a light. Surprisingly, one of them was not wearing a shirt. After the repair was completed, the leftover cables and debris were not cleaned up, so I had to go to the reception desk to request cleaning.
• Overall, the hotel is strategically located on the main road. However, my expectations were not met when compared to the service quality and hotel conditions portrayed on social media. I hope the hotel management can improve how guests are treated and enhance overall service quality, as in my opinion, a VIP Junior Suite priced at IDR 1.9 million is not worth the price.
