The worst experience staying at hotel. I lost my helm at the hotel’s parking lot. The security staff is denial, the receptionist is not helpful. They did not do anything unless I ask them to. The Hotel Management did not follow up on my report and also did not compensate me at all.
It seems that this is not their first case, and they do not fix or improve this.
Beware friends, and take the risk if you wanto to stay at this hotel.
Do not stay at this hotel. They are discriminative towards how the people looks. If you look bad, they will give you a bad room. I ask for room change at 3.30 am coz I cannot take the smelly room and the thin bed. After that they gave me the room that is proper with good smell and real bed. Do not take room 216

Clean & comfy stay near Tebet, but a bit of smoke smell
I stayed at Sofyan Hotel Soepomo for 1 night on June 2. Overall a solid 4-star experience.
Pros:
Room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained. AC was cold enough, and amenities were complete — toiletries, refilling jug, cups, plus tea and coffee sachets.
Cons:
The main issue was the smell. From late afternoon until night, cigarette smoke would often drift into my non-smoking room. There was also a faint septic tank odor once or twice during my stay.
Service:
Shout out to the front desk staff! Super friendly and helpful. They printed my document for free and kindly showed me where I could buy materai nearby.
Suggestion for improvement:
I hope the hotel can strengthen air circulation and odor control in non-smoking rooms, especially during evening hours. Maybe adding air purifiers or better door sealing could help. I believe this small improvement would make the stay perfect.
Would I come back? Yes, if I need a hotel in Tebet again. Great location + good service, just hope the air/smell issue can be improved.
