Enjoyed staying here!
Pros :
— Quiet! well the birds chirping is probably the most noise you will get, and adzan, now and then, but not loud / intrusive as the room walls are thick concrete.
— Full glass window room.
— Air circulation in room (also AC)
— Brand New!
— Near Gua Kreo (rp 6500/visit)
— Accessible food stalls (yummy and cheap) around here, by foot or gofood/grabfood.
— High end cafe is available but scarce, more options are west (BSB) or east (UNNES) or north (semarang city center)
— 2200 watt electricity for each room (prepaid tokens, 1550/kwh)
— Great lighting at night (bright) around the house and in the room.
— 30mbps Wi-Fi (at the moment, might increase with more tenants)
— garden! and lots of forest to walk through.
— good to disconnect from the city life.
— plentiful parking for car & bikes.
— bus available that goes straight to town, or you can connect and go to UNNES or BSB city.
. And the list goes on and on :)
Cons :
— You will need private transport, or walk 1.5 km to the nearest bus stop (5.30 AM — 5.40 PM)
— No hot water yet (Not an issue for me though)
— no work desk in all room yet. (we got ours online for 150k)
— Wifi reception into room varies, might need to bring your own repeater & place in front of room (Cost like 100k from shopee) for phone, laptop reception is usually OK.
— its still new, so some quirk's are still being worked on, but nothing major, and the owner is quick to give a helping hand / temporary solution till its fixed.
Recommend for those looking for tranquility for inspiration, or those doing some work from home "vacations" to another city. If you have doubts, always try out a place / environment for a day or two for a better feel, before deciding.
