Hotel has nice ambience. Breakfast buffet was not bad. Satisfying. Location of hotel is good.
However very disappointed with massage service in the hotel. Had an improptu slot because most of the outlets outside hotels were closing and not taking anymore client. Came down to spa level, made payment and reception guy at the spa counter had breath filled of tobacco. Staff brought me to the massage room immediately after payment, no intro e. G. Warm drink or feet soaking. Massuese was kind of hurry as I was the last client. Didnt enjoy the session and massuese seemed to be amateur. Didnt help my sore body at all, instead had a stiff shoulder after the massage. Such a waste of time and money. Coming from such a beautifully decorated hotel and professional looking advert on spa service, I was rather upset and thought it could be a better experience.

Menginap disini selama 7hari 6malam. Kalo mau kmana2 juga deket soalnya bisa tembus langsung ke pelabuhan ferry kalo misalkan mau nyebrang ke singapura dan dari hotelnya sendiiri bisa langsung tembus ke mall yang ada di sebelah swiss belhotel inii. Puas banget sama pelayanannya. Kamarnya besar, nyamanlah pokoknya. Kebetulan dapet kamar di deretan kolam renangnya jadi nice lah viewnya, kalo mau ngegym juga ada tempatnya disebelah kolam renangnyaa. Gak rugi deh kalo nginep disinii.

1. Hot water was disappointing. It is burning hot at first and barely warm after 20s 2. Hotel reception staff is extremely slow Personal opinion. There are smaller and better hotels.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Overall experience was good except for the part where our hotel room type got mixed up. It wasn't the hotel's fault but the way it was handled wasn't very professional. The front desk just ask us to contact the third party to deal with the mix up. Breakfast spread was good and the room was comfortable.

Bonafide Hotel. Large Room. 4 Star hotel located at Batam Island nearby downtown area. Close to shopping mall and Ferry Terminal Nagoya Batam. Service quite outstanding, not to miss the food taste is fabulous.

I would always come back to Swiss Bel Hotel whenever I am in Batam for their excellent service and how it is only a 5 min walk from the ferry terminal. I was pleasantly surprised this time as I mentioned I would be celebrating my anniversary during this trip, I didn’t think they would remember let alone prepare something special for us. Upon arriving at our room, we found that they have placed two swans wrapped from bath towels on the bed, together with a slice of complimentary cake wishing us a happy anniversary. It is little things like that which really made our stay so much more enjoyable. Although you would need to take a taxi to Nagoya, it is only a 10min drive away. Plus, WeyWey seafood is just 5 mins walk from our hotel and there is a mini supermarket just next to the hotel. Thank you for yet another wonderful stay, I really enjoyed my weekend getaway here. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all my family and friends when they are in Batam!

Very Nice hotel in batam. Had a wonderful stay for a short holiday with my family. Near harbourbay ferry station. Loved the foods especially hotel breakfast.

Personally my preferred choice of hotel if I arrived to Harbourbay ferry terminal. Buffet is a good spread with various food from hot food to cold dishes to deserts. They even had a personal chef to bbq for you like satay, hotdog. Etc. Room is spacious and cozy, not too big nor too small, perfect for 2 person. Toilet is clean. There is a convenient store that operate 24 hours just in front of a hotel.

Good location, fairly new, room was big. Room service staff are friendly but counter staff needs more training. Check in time is 2pm but only got to check in at 2.15pm as they were still preparing the room. Found a baby cockroach near my kueh lapis. Very sad. Kueh lapis is so nice but the cockroach also very smart come and find. First night, 5am give me morning call. I didnt ask for morning call and who on earth wakes up at 5am? Check out day, call me at 12noon when we opted for late check out on the website and alao mentioned this repeatedly to counter staff. Calling us at 12 when we already agreed and asked the staff during check in to indicate checkout at 1pm, wakes us up from our sleep. I did not know of a better alarm clock until I stay here. Please take notes of such small issues as it hinders the enjoyment of an otherwise enjoyable first visit to Batam.

First time here with my 2 office collogue. Near harbour bay terminal. Breakfast super delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Upgrade our room without any extra charge. Nearby seafood restaurant. & Massage place. Very convenienced going nearby shopping centre. BCS, DC Mall, Nagoya hill shopping mall

All aspects of the service are very good. What's the problem. It didn't take 5 minutes to get up and take care of it. It's a 3-minute walk near the pier.

Located within walking distance to the harbour. Stay here if you want to catch the earliest boat to Singapore. The hotel was great, but the downside is the room is not clean enough. But overall, it was a nice stay here.

Location wise it's near to the Ferry Terminal, it's only 5mins walk away. Rooms: They have Smoking and Non-Smoking hotel rooms. So non-smokers need not have to be uncomfortable with family members or friends that are smoking in the room. Service: Great! Always have a smile on their face. Greets guest when guests enters or leaves the Hotel.

Had came with my family for a church event. Room was not ready when we entered, mineral water bottles were missing, towels not replaced etc but was solved promptly by housekeeping after calling for room service. However, overall the stay was great. Hotel had a huge selection of food made available for morning breakfast buffet and staff will also call for a taxi if you need it.

Nice room, with Windows facing the outdoor garden. Outdoor pool available albeit small but still pretty decent. Gym facilities also available. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful with any queries regarding ferry as well as any attractions available in Batam. Location very easily accessible from Harbour Bay ferry terminal with supermarket and good dining places available nearby. Would go there again.

Good hotel nearby the Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal (walking distance). Plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby. Connected to a shopping centre but rather rundown. There is Blitz Megaplex Cinema inside the shopping mall. The hotel features elegant and grand lobby design. Check-in was smooth, room was spacious and clean. However there is a little clog in our toilet wash basin. Overall, pleasant stay, would recommend.

The breakfast buffet spread is surprisingly large and the food is better than what I had in other hotels here. But given that it's quite an old hotel, we spotted a number of cockroaches in the room itself. They need to do something about the pest problems here.

Great location if you're coming from harbour bay. There's a decently equipped gym and pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

SUMMARY: I absolutely love the location. Located within minutes of walking from Harbour Bay Terminal, this is one of the best hotels for tourists who are looking to explore the city center of Nagoya ROOM: I stayed in a deluxe room and the size is definitely huge. My children absolutely love the space and so did I. The room is a little quaint though FOOD: Hotel breakfast was great with a big spread and variety. I also had their Saturday Night Super Buffet during my stay and again, big spread. I enjoyed the food. FACILITIES: They have a nice gym and pool. The pool though is rather small for my preference. There is a spa here but I did not have the time to visit yet SERVICE: This is probably my favorite part of the hotel, their service. Keep up the good work RECOGNITION: I would like to thank Angga and Alex for your warm hospitality. Also all the F&B staff who tolerated my children messiness during our meals. Along with the receptionists who are proficient and profesional.

Love the spacious rooms and it's within walking distance from the terminal. There's great seafood and bakery within a 5 mins walk. Massage opposite the hotel is good too. No shuttle provided if you were to go to any shopping malls, they are about 50-70k rupiah away though. Quite worth it if you buy Groupon deal. I will be back again.

Being few years with my bf. Once a year will come Batam for a short break. We will always choose Swiss Belhotel for sure. This is our 3rd time here. Firstly it's very near Harbour Bay ferry terminal just a few min walk away. Secondly, their customer services are wonderful. Thirdly, just take a cab less than 10min you can reach 2 big shopping malls, Nagoya hill shopping center & BCS which are very nice to shop. Lastly, we just celebrate my bf 28th birthday here. I bought stuffs for decoration of the room, they are kind to help you with it without any charges yet still give a free slice of cake and beautiful love swarm bed folding. Will continue come back here again. Highly Recommended!

Disgusted & Disappointed. Had booked a deluxe room via the hotel website, 16th june to 18th june 2017. 1st room: (330) Cockroaches infested room. Killed 4 and gave up, requested for a change of room. 2nd room: (352) Was changed to a far corner room with no minibar 'looks like a standby room' & Wi-Fi was cut off for 1hr 30mins. None of the staff could verify what's wrong till the technicians came. Got a free upgrade to their grand deluxe room. Thank you for the birthday slice cake for my partner. 3rd room: (355) Thought the room would be better but toilet was choked and cannot be flushed down and almost flooding so you can imagine how bad it was. We checked out. This hotel is fairly new however no maintenance was done. This is a poor maintained hotel given it's over-rating reviews via tripadvisor. This is not my first stay with this hotel but the most disappointing one. If there is no proper maintenance in this hotel and the management took our reviews for granted than I don't think this place is worth the money for a staycation & would expect a decrease of guests staying in the future. Dim Sum Brunch: Food was served cold and hard. Room Service: Food was again served cold and taste was not satisfactory needless to say about the range.

Ok, I have to admit, Im not familiar with the hotel scene in Batam. We were about 1 week there and spent the days in 2 hotels. Swis-Belhotel Batam is our second one. What I least like is the location. Fullstop. Lobby — 4 Service — 5 Room — 4 Location — 3 Price Value — 3

Modern Hotel, good facility, good staff and clean. It is a short walking distance to the Harbour Bay Ferry terminal so great access to and from Singapore.

Deket banget ma Harbour Bay.

Good food. One of the best breakfast. But sadly they do not use good sanitary. My closet was unable to flush clean after more than 10 times flushing. I hope they replace the sanitary aquipment with better products and one more. Water heater was not works well.

A great experience, with quite an affordable rate. The chips and beverages at the lobby are offered free of charge too, which is great! Despite the added security measures that may discomfort and/or inconvenience many, the security officers are polite and cheerful too. Even though the SIGMA lifts are slow, at least it brings us to our destination. Though one thing for sure is that if you take anything from the minibar, you will be charged accordingly but this is a great hotel!

Big enough room for small family (i have 2yr lil girl). Good location if u'd like to go accross singapore using ferry boat. Lots of choices for breakfast, however lunch and dinner are a bit below expectation.
