Nice resort with fresh air. Calm atmosphere and comfortable and natural. Friendly service. A decent resort recommended. Rare comment when there is a vice president's visit also to novotel lombok wednesday 19.02.2020. The most memorable is always breakfast with a menu favorite is typical novotel lombok croissants that are savory and addictive made by mega chefs plus a cup of black coffee … great. Amazing entertainment for 10 days 11 February — 20 February 2020.

Very lovely place to stay during your holiday with your love ones. The general manager Jan also very helpful and friendly to all guest, will love to come back here on our next holiday trip at beautiful Lombok, Indonesia.

We just spent 7 days in your resort and loved every minute. The food was extraordinary and the staff and service were superb. I cannot fault this place — we will be returning for sure. Terima Kashi Novatel Lombok!

Absolutely loved the resort, a fantastic location with really helpful friendly staff.
Totally kids friendly, our kids spent a lot of time in the supervised kids club. Food was a mix of local and international and we never got bored with it in the 8 days we spent at the resort. Rooms are spacious and clean (we've stayed twice now in different types of rooms), serviced every day with new linen and towels. I can totally recommend this resort to all ages, singles and families.

If you are looking for a stay away from crowd, Novotel is the perfect place, multiple pools, great rooms and amazing staff.

Kind staff Unfortunately the room costs are exhorbitant for what you get.
In order to justify costs a significant upgrade of rooms is required. New curtains/blinds. Neatening up of bathrooms and modernisation of facilities. As the resort is only one of its kind in South Lombok, the prices are inflated. Competition will sort this out.

The view overlooking the beach is breathtaking, lunch under the little hut’s is something I suggest. We were upgraded to a villa with private pool, you couldn’t ask for anything more. The cocktails by the pool, activities for the kids and we hired scooters directly from the resort… everything was perfect. Lombok we will be back.

We absolutely adore our stay at this hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The pool is great. There are plenty of activities that you don't have to go elsewhere to spend your time during your stay.

They have good place, quite good food, good scenery. But they don't even provide tooth brush, which is a big no for me. The phone on my room also doesn't work well, so I have some difficulties ordering the food.

Great and spacious rooms, staff is really nice and ready to help all the time. Nice facilities and is always clean. Good food and drinks.

Very cozy resort—on the beach and, thank God near the hills (we were there when the great quake shook Lombok) —albeit need a bit rejuvenation. Multiple pools. Good-size room. Expensive for local tourists and the menu (drinks) were not fresh. Friendly staff. This is my second visit.

Clean new rooms and very nice staff. Average food… absolutely recommended! By the way the hotel is right on the beach. Rooms have everything from cobblers to samples of soap and toothbrush. Ours was a standard room, I think there were also bungalows with private pool available.

Best place to relax after hiking at Mount Rinjani. Food selection for buffet is good, price about RM 80. Room is spacious for two! King size bed somemore. Water pressure at bath room is good. Service is good. Perhaps only bad thing is the noise isolation isn't that great, if there are two rooms side by side, can hear the noise.

I'm sorry, but for it's price, I couldn't recommend this. Only one restaurant inside the complex, with mediocre foods. It's hard to find transport to go outside the complex to find more decent food, so you're stuck inside. There is only 1 tiny swimming pool. More trees for shadows and greeneries would be nice. The private beach is nice when the water is clear, and the hills nearby can provide some entertainment.

Hotel in the complex of good quality, the beach adjacent to the hotel is not particularly attractive, but a few km away you can reach beautiful beaches equipped with white sand and turquoise sea, discreet kitchen, a little Spartan the endowment In the rooms, where only one towel is given and, only after continual insistence you can get a second towel for face and hands.

This Novotel is considered 4 stars in Lombok-> You'll have to explain how this rating was calculated and justified!
1 — This hotel is far from everything, totally secluded. Nothing is feasible on foot in the vicinity (20mn walking distance to the nearest beach). For any trip it will be necessary to negotiate with a person who has contacts throughout the island. As for the attractions or activities within the hotel all paying.
2 — you will tell me that the hotel at a beach, yes certainly if you have scuba shoes to save your foot plant and you like to bathe in a meter of water this beach will be made for you. Still need to love the rocks and sellers at the sly. 3 — The pool goes up a little bit, long enough, if no child you can do lengths.
4 — but the chamber will finish you! Bathroom in a dismal state (photos in support), towels falling in tatters, air-conditioning fragrant and unable to open windows (risk of attack of mosquitoes or jumping spiders to choose from). We were 3 adults and as an additional bed at €80 at night you have the right to a sheet on a hard bench, glued to the window with a stained pillow/cushion. And watch out, 1M50 long! Not to mention the fact that to have 3 towels (normal for 3 adults in the room) it will take to call the reception, wait 15-20mn and have a person who arrives breathless by asking for a tip!
In short I totally advise against this hotel!

Very good hotel. The beach very beautiful. The food is good but need more variety for occidental people. The pool is good. Close of many amazing beaches. Not so expensive. I will back.

I woukd think this is the best hotel in Lombok… The room is well designed, the internet is fast, the beach is clean. But I kinda dislike the food… I would think that the cook should learn more about cooking…

Excellent resort on the north of Lombok Island. My first time here was 17 years ago and they were the only resort hotel within several kilometres around. I've been here a couple more times since then. The property is well maintained all this time. Now this resort's neighborhood is bustling with development of several well known hotel chains. So before all those hotels finished, the only convenient and available restaurant to eat is in this Novotel. Fortunately they improved alot of their menu variety as well as the taste. They have pretty beach and the grain sands made you feel like walking on pepper piles (literally the sand particles look like miniaturize raw pepper). Next to the beach were several hills available for a short hiking and higher lookout around the ocean.

Set your expectations low. A new hotel is under construction next to the Novotel, which may explain the slipping quality of this resort. Maybe Novotel is no longer investing in the resort because it knows its days are numbered. For example, the room is OK but tired. The towels are threadbare and rough as toast. The service is very poor. Expect to chase after the staff when you want service. The servers often get your order wrong or forget parts of your order. In the restaurants the servers will neglect you. The food is sometimes of a poor quality, but almost always cold. It doesn’t matter if the restaurant and bar are empty, the servers will neglect you. Don’t expect to be asked for food or drinks at your beach chair until happy hour, when the servers do make one round to collect orders. Some resorts have very friendly and hardworking pool and beach staff, don’t expect that level of service here. Do expect hawkers on the property annoying you for a bracelet or a coconut. They are harmless, but persistent. The outside hawkers and staff do use the kids’ club area toilets. The kids‘ club toilets are dirty. The kids’ club advertises activities that are not delivered upon. There is one attendant in the kids’ club, but expect to find this person on her phone often. I found the attendant showing my kids photos on her phone, which is harmless but not a service. The kids’ club amounts to a generally supervised area. Do not expect your child to be entertained as advertised.

Although the resort is in need of an upgrade, the room was clean and had all we needed. I believe that work on the remodeling will start when The Pulman Resort next door is completed. The best part (apart from the food) was the staff. The manager, Jan, took time to interact and organise activities and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff, from garden maintenance to chefs were fantastic. The beach, bar and restaurant staff were superb. They all enjoyed interacting and their friendly disposition was something to remember.

Very nice hotel for a relaxing family holiday. Good breakfast. Stayed in the room, friends in the villa. There is no sea view from the rooms. Daily Quality cleaning. Beautiful grounds, several pools, sports ground, gym. The furniture is slightly cracked. The village of Kuta is 25-30 minutes walk or 10 minutes by taxi, where you can hang out and have a cheap dinner.
The beach is not a delight, because during low tide is very shallow, and in the tide of unclear water. To go not very comfortably, falls into friable sand. In other places of the island there are beaches better. The hotel has a good diving center, wonderful instructor Alexander. There is something to see when diving: corals, moray eels, reef sharks, barracuda.
Beach equipment is shabby: beds are cracked, plastic kayaks flow, sprigs potrekayi. Everything is compensated by friendly staff and well-groomed areas.

Staff very nice. For a Novotel but very worn out interior especially on the beach. For visitors: Even if you use the restaurant you still have to pay extra for the beach usage. The beach was pretty trashy.

Beautiful Hotel. We have been able to spend beautiful and unforgettable days here.

Great hotel. Nice rooms (spacious living rooms and nice bathrooms on the ground floor of the main buildings), there are bungalow type rooms. Excellent cuisine (Asian), somewhat inferior to the staff succeed European dishes. Excellent spa (hourly relaxing massage 300000 rupees or about $24). The beach is Sandy, however, obviously bulk-at the entrance to the water friable and deeply fallinged in the sand. The sand itself is somewhat rough, and when walking on it causes tingling in the feet.

Nice hotel 4*: our room 118 on the veranda, which is paid for, as for higher level rooms, Cortile constantly light. DVD stands for beauty, not working. Taking the all inclusive package for kids, the staff was not aware of this and made the round eyes, when we came to pizza cooking for kids. And as there was stated the other Special Exlusuve, but we did not see. Otherwise, nice beach, pool, staff friendly, Breakfast good.

Nice resort a little less to the taste of the day, but the top of the area if you have the budget. Associated with the only dive center in Kuta. Departure from the beach.

Deluxe room is clean and cozy. Bathroom is small and no bathtub. They have many activities for child and adult. Hotel location quite far from restaurant and mart. But they have very nice restaurant.

World tour stop-over at Novotel Lombok It is a rare pearl on a beautiful beach where the splendid villas respect the Indonesian tradition and the surrounding nature. The hospitality is warm with a very kind and cordial staff. The villa, with a shared with 4 other villas swimming pool, is very elegant and with all conceivable comforts — even the coffee machine so important for us italians with a choice of multiple tastings. We were welcomed by drinks, fruits and sweets on the villa’s private terrace. We felt like kings! Thank you Novotel! In the evening you can dine with an abundance of excellent food from a traditional barbecue at a fixed price. We also enjoyed the evening livened up by a great show of local dances. The beach is very beautiful, There is also a beautiful swimming pool by the beach besides the other one shared by the five villas. It is marvellous! It has elegance with the local touch and style. It is the place where you can take a few days break and be cuddled.

Its a really nice place to stay because novotel has a private beach that you could enjoy all day long and all you could enjoy vodka cocktail while enjoying the sunset on a wooden swing on the beach… u could shoot a music video here.

Fantastic place to stay, quite peaceful hotel, surrounded by tropical gardens and threes, absolutely amazing place to stay. Wider range of European food it will be very welcomed.

I am in heaven. So in love with this place. Villa right on the beach. This place has everything available to its guests. The 75 minute hair spa is to die for. I have to say though the food is very below par and very overpriced. Simple dishes like Nachos and Pizza are no where near the quality they should be for a Novotel Resort. I don't mind paying for good food but paying expensive food prices for below average food is very disappointing. Staff are lovey. Get this right and this place would be perfect.

Our visit here was just for dinner which we had at the bar overlooking the beach. I have to say we were impressed with this area of the hotel for its beach facilities for both adults & kids but that's where it stopped for us. The restaurant staff had very limited knowledge of anything including which menu is which. Ordered our drinks to find out they didn't have 2 of the wines we'd ordered then didn't bring another menu & then brought the wrong menu again. The food was ok but can get same on street for better value. Was so frustrated & disappointed & we are usually quite patient especially in Bali. Cannot recommend after our visit.

Large resort located on the beach, with several swimming pools, bars ect… the top! Only downside prices 50000Rp the small beer double what you can find in town.

Good structure, well maintained. It does not excel in the cleanliness of the rooms. Well distributed spaces, lovely beach and transparent sea, blue with shades of green/turquoise, high and low tide that conditions a bit. Also good culinary offer, at acceptable prices, but little varied. Location to consider, also because at the unique time of a certain level in the area.

A hotel out of the international novotel chain of hotels. This hotel tries to make up for the fact that it is on a rather lonely spot on an otherwise nice beach by offering a lot of activities.

Great property. Private beach, restaurant and pools overlooking the beach. We had a room in the building, not the villa. It was spacious for me and my two kids. Also it was spotless. The kids enjoy movie on the beach, play park and the swing. The welcome drink was exceptional, shaved ice with lime syrup and mint leave. Love it!

We stayed at the Novotel for 5 days. We found a good standard here, which unfortunately has already come very much in the years (air conditioning very sluggish, bathroom fittings very worn).
The service of the staff was satisfactory from our point of VIEW. Unfortunately too little service in the cabanas on the Beach.
unfortunately, The area is also only the novotel, except for large sites. From our point of view and compared to other hotels in bali/lombok, This also has a noticeable knock-on price.

Huge area outdoor and beach. Great family connecting rooms. Feels like in a themed park because of the architecture. Lots of breakfast choices but the buffet staffs are not so proactive in helping guests.

This is my 3rd time back to Novotel Lombok… now more easier only 30 minutes from Lombok international Airport… nice n quite place to enjoy the private beach. good for honeymooners n family to relax n enjoy. They have special kind of sand that you can not find in other beach. Pepper like sand beach.

This is a really lovely spot. Very isolated, so you really feel relaxed. Access to the new airport is much easier than before.

Have stayed here many times and always love it. It is a very peaceful location, where you can unplug and relax. Nice beach and pool. Easy access from airport.

Good structure that x is the area above the island is already a luxury … terrific hospitality they make you feel at home.
