It's beautiful and peaceful here. The staff are lovely and I'm enjoying the yoga and meditation and the local outings. I also love that the outings support the local economy! The food is yummy, the shared rooms are spacious and clean.
Would definitely recommend Balitrees.

Great yoga retreat! If you are looking for a total wind down from your busy life, this is the place for you. My husband and I had a very relaxing time and totally enjoyed yoga twice daily along with the village activities. Friendly, caring staff, who tried their best to accommodate your needs. Will definitely visit Balitrees Yoga Retreat again.

My friend and I spent 4 days with Balitrees retreats and it was an amazing experience. We were so well looked after, completely immersed in Balinese culture and fed new and exciting meals for every meal we had! The concept of Bali trees is not only for tourists to experience the Balinese culture but to benefit the small village in which you stay. I fully recommend this retreat as one of a kind! I stayed at nearby Umadhatu resort and was transported each day through lovely countryside to yoga platform and Bali Trees Resort. Villa — upgraded to brand new 2 bedroomed Villa for my sole use it was very modern, clean and high spec. Food was cooked to order and I was able to choose what I wanted to eat the following day, basically I had an individual chef. The manager was Wayan and he was superb, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and good English and all his young staff were very attentive and kind too. One evening I joined the owner and his family and had a wonderful time, they were so unbelievably hospitable and genuine. The last evening was my birthday and a fantastic meal was prepared, plus 2 birthday cakes and a traditional Balinese offering. All the resort staff and owner sang traditional songs and gave their kind blessings. Amazing place, excellent location to explore the surrounding area. Yoga area — the platform was in the most beautiful setting, a valley of paddy fields infront, jungle and far reaching views of the erupting Mt Agung the other direction. It is within a small village, and everyone I met was friendly. You are truly embedded in an authentic Balinese rural village. There were only 2 of us and we had great fun in every session. They consisted of spiritual tuition, meditation, asanas and flow. Different but excellent. Be open minded and embrace. The cultural activities were authentic, interesting and bespoke.

Amazing experience, very cultural and enlightening for authentic Balinese culture and traditions. The staff are all incredible — friendly and helpful in every way! Surrounded by rice paddies and palm trees with no tourists aside from others in your group it’s a real retreat!

A truly wonderful retreat. Peaceful. Picturesque. Incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts. And a lot of fun! To be away from the hustle and bustle of some of the main areas of Bali and be up in the mountains in a traditional village amongst the stunning tiered rice paddy farmlands of Sesandan was so relaxing and scenic. A beautiful place to practice the original form of yoga with very knowledgeable teachers who also have a terrific sense of humour injecting joy and laughter into each session. A peaceful, warm and smiling heart after each class! And yoga on the black sands of the nearby beaches with a full moon rising and the crashing waves of the ocean was spectacular. Cycling there through the local villages and rice fields was one of my personal highlights – a lot of fun with the group on the way! The opportunity to visit the local orphanage and make a contribution to the children was so heart-warming. Thank you Adi. A wonderful place doing wonderful work which all showed in the radiant smiles of the kids and their obvious well-being. The accommodation far exceeded expectations and is tranquil and plush. And the food was great – wonderful local fresh produce cooked in the traditional Balinese way and served with much love by the fabulous staff of Balitrees.
My 5 day visit was far too short – and I will be returning! Thank you to all at Balitrees – it felt like a home away from home.
