Great welcome. Check in competent and professional… We asked for three neighboring rooms and they satisfied us despite the difficulties related to the request. Cleaning the rooms is not satisfactory in particular the bathrooms, but they intervened immediately to repair the faulty phone line. Buffet more than satisfactory for choice and quality. Extreme kindness from all the staff. Small beach but comfort guaranteed on the terrace in front of the sea.

Very nice hotel with a traditional balinese atmosphere, with beautiful gardens and fish ponds. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was never any issue with crossing the road as there was always a very attentive security guard there to assist. The breakfast buffet was excellent, as were the swimming pools and the wonderful location right on the beach. It was difficult to get the kids to leave the hotel as there was always something they wanted to do, be it a kid's club activity, pool game or group fitness activity offered by the hotel staff. We would be back tomorrow if only we could!

Nice & quiet. Peaceful resort on Benoa Beach. Rooms are well designed with all tbe facilities central. Staff are beautiful and warm going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Good selection of pool areas with quiet pools for adults where children are discouraged and constantly asked to be quiet. Nice buffet breakfast with a range of healthy options catering to a worldwide taste.

Nice resort in Benoa. We booked "beach cabana room", but something's going wrong. The reception staff said the cabana room was fully booked by other. Thankfully, they'd upgrades our room to "one bedroom villa". My kids are so happy. They'd choose to swim in the private pool all day long than playing on the beach.

The beautiful environment, the staff's high level of service, and the buffet are perfect. After having eaten the freshest meal in Bali, you can feel the chef's intentions. The management strives to maintain a high standard buffet. My family is also managed. The restaurant, fully aware of this restaurant is very hard to maintain a good dining experience, my next tour will definitely choose to stay at this hotel :)

Great hotel, pool, service, it makes + big hotel to tourists than the others we could do in the top of the island but we are very good!

I love this hotel, my family have travelled over to Indonesia 3 times and we stay here every trip. The staff are so friendly, they remember your names and help you with anything. My kids love the breakfast buffet especially my 2 teenage boys who never seem to be full and the themed buffet dinners every night. We get great rates and discounts being AccorPlus members which only makes this hotel even more affordable, all the pools are magnificent with the whole hotel having a very traditional Balinese style. We have always stayed in the ‘garden wing’ and I appreciate they have a security guard that stands out in the sun all day to escort guests across the busy road to the other section of the hotel. My family and I always feel so welcome here and I cannot wait to stay here again on my next trip in August. Thank you Novotel for the excellent customer service and great hotel. ~ Robyn.

Location was good, heaps of restaurants along the street as well as shopping opportunities. Quick trip from the airport due to the toll bridge. Staff were lovely and welcoming from the start. Pools were great. Drinks were probably the biggest downfall — tasted a little cheap and toxic. Overall a good stay.

3 swimming pools and beach side… so awesome. The lobby, lounge, restaurant, beach side sofas. Makes you really relax and enjoying the time during day and even at evening… easy to find online taxi as well. It is so indonesian, and very friendly staffs. Exclusive beach makes it clean and feel more private.

Very quiet and soothing hotel. The staff are in the small care for any requests. Breakfast is very varied (sucrė and salė) and changes regularly. The rooms are very nice and spacious, comfortable bedding and clean However the bathroom is usėe and smell of moisture present. Still a great value for money.

Very nice resort with 3 pools, small fitness room, wonderful buffets with daily changing focus and a demonstration. The food super tasty. Vegetarian is not too short. Possibility to rent a motorbike. Massages and other dining options in the immediate vicinity. Suitable for families and also those who want to have a quieter is in good hands.

Really nice hotel with courteous staff. Building is getting old but it under constant maintenance. I found the position of the air-conditioning in my room was uncomfortable as it blew on my back at night. I still highly recommend this place to stay. The area is part of the more respectable areas in Bali good place to avoid constant partying and have a more peaceful vacation.

Our stay supposed to be in the deluxe room, but then there was a miscommunication. So our room is not ready. So they give us complimentary to upgrade our room to the villa beach front for free for one night. The Spa is superb… Food was great. Fully recomended…

Nice 4* hotel located in rather busy beach of Tanjung Benoa, being the center of water sports. Its complex divided into two complexes, both with decent supporting facilities. Room — I prefer the beach side collections, starting with Tropical Terrace: decent size, nice contemporary design. Food though, a bit bland.

My favourite hotel in Bali. It's so comfortable and relaxing here. This resort is spacious a d very welcoming. Food is delicious, service is very friendly. The location is a little bit off the way, but taxi service is available and inexpensive.

Situated in a fabulous location with its own private beach, it offers all the water sports activities available right at your disposal. Has 3 pools, a gym, massage facilities, tennis court, media room, restaurant with a wide selection of food to choose from. Close proximity to other venues. Room was tidy and clean with a nice balcony overlooking the pool, however upon closer inspection the hotel appears to be showing its age and needs some renovations and maintenance. If you can overlook the small details then it is a pleasant hotel to stay for a short getaway.

I loved it! The location is amazing, the beach there is beautiful and the staff could not do enough for you, so friendly and helpful-professional from arrival t my sad departure. I will be going back.

Beautiful beachfront hotel with comfortable beds, soft premium sheets, freestanding bathtub and a separate shower. Beach features relaxing cabanas and sack chairs perfect for watching sunset over the shore. Beach bar offers selection of healthy vegan cocktails along with alcoholic beverages.

Wonderful place, the staff is to small care for us, the place is paradise, I highly recommend Camille who is a French at the reception, she gives very good advice on the visits and uses of the Balinese, short hotel to recommend strongly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to all.

My second stay at this hotel. Reasonable rate for such facilities. Good breakfast. Late checkout. Would be nice to have better aircon.

The hotel is really nice, located on the beach. It is a bit old and would be good to do some painting. The rooms clean and beds lovely. The pool areas are cosy inbedded in gardens. The breakfast is very good. From Western to Asian food. The logistic with glases, coffee, etc works but would be good to improve and refill a bit quicker. It takes some time in the pool bar when you order food and drinks but all the staff are very friendly and try to do their best, always with a smile.

The staff at the reception are not home.

The ambience was nice — set on the beach and true balinese style. My wife ate the first night over from a late flight and the restaurants food was below average the ingredients used were not fresh. This was reflected consistently throughout. We purchased breakfast included — my wife asked for fresh pancakes after we arrived with30 min left of service and she recieved the pancakes completely raw in the middle. The standard of quality of Chefs is low. Its a nice ambience but food is overpriced and not nice at all. Expect to travel for dinner every night to eat something decent.

Cleanliness of the rooms, competence in problem solving, attention to the customer. Top!

10/10. Without doubt one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Bali. Deserves every star. Fantastic food, great service, clean and comfortable room. Staff are really good and go out of their way to help. Highly recommended!

Great hotel but I would not advise families with little children! The hotel is separated by a road, even if there is a guard to stop the vehicles, it remains dangerous!

First housed in Deluxe Room on the street side, we chose a Beach Villa. Well we took it: space, comfort of a nice villa. And then, little extra fun, last night in Pool Villa: Wow! Quiet, private swimming pool, rest and softness of an outdoor balneotherapy bath! Simply luxurious;)

Our stay here was outstanding. Our pool side room with its own front court yard was just fabulous. The staff couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The pool area and private beach where magnificent.

Fantastic hotel, with 3 sets of swimming pools, one facing the ocean, and two opposite the road with bar. Great facility include tennis court, day care for the kids. Friendly staff, we get upgraded to Family room with extra lounge and bunk bed for the kids with PS2 entertainment systems. There is a bar restaurant by the beach allowing you to enjoy the relaxing private beach atmosphere. The swimming pools comes with safety vests and you can even get the sea kayak for free to go exploring the ocean within limited radius. The beach is wide when the tide is low, but sometimes littered with sea weeds. When the tide is high the water comes all the way up. You can walk from the hotel to where the water activities are (para sailing, sea walking, banana boat, snorkeling and even scuba diving).

It's just the best! My family and I love it so much. We've had the best experience here. And we're definitely coming back. Not only it's children-friendly, but also family-friendly. They would just cater to your every need with a smile and sincere willingness. They think ahead of your tiniest desires for a vacation, and voila, turn those to their best,,, just awesome! Keep up the good work!

Very expensive food and drinks, room tidy and large, tourist castle for through locks, beach only large stones and would advise to go in the Water. Breakfast but very good. Please eat Outside.

Unbeatable services — friendly and helpful staffs are everywhere. It actually has two buildings, one is on the beach front and one is across the street. Nice, cozy and relaxing room, with a sofa that can be turned as extra bed plus a daybed at the terrace. Beautiful and well-maintained swimming pools. The private beach is clean and beautiful. There are surfboards for guests to paddle to the sea. This is a kid-friendly hotel — like other Novotels around the world, with kiddie pool and Kids' club.

My second stay at the Novotel Bali Benoa and always the same pleasure to be there.

On arrival you will feel very welcome. It will be explained to you all the same and if Help is needed, will also be helped. No matter what Matters. Rooms are very modern however at the same time traditional and cozy. Cleanliness is also given:) Breakfast and other taste are at a high level at all Times. During your stay, I can only recommend a massage in the spa area, because you feel as if you were born Again.

Too crowded, too noisy, but the rooms are comfortable and the staff at small care.

A very responsive and enjoyable service.

I stayed here with my wife and our son for 2 nights and we all enjoyed our stay. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and great a/c. We opted for the standard garden veiw room wich if we were to go again we would probably book the beach side room as they look a bit nicer and closer to the restaurant and beach. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, The only down sides I personally found was the Wi-Fi was too slow for me which didn't really matter as I use a local sim card. The pool looked a bit old (chipped missing tiles) with no swim up bar but if you wanted a drink the staff were more than happy to bring you one, however in that being said it was still clean and there is a kiddy section 0.4M deep. There was an excellent choice for breakfast but if you can get it included in your room rate thats the way to go. All in all a very clean and friendly environment and would definitely stay there again.

That the hotel of a main road is separated, is somewhat less than optimal, but yet well resolved. The breakfast was rich and satisfying.
The rooms (especially bathroom) was however in need of renovation. The layout and facilities (racks, shelves etc. ) read to be desired.
Overall still a pleasant stay!

It was our first time staying at Novotel Benoa, I made a mistake on booking by book beach side room instwad of beach view. Nevertheless, it was good to stay at benoa novotel, we like the room thou, my son and daughter also like the room especially room has a showet at front yard which made us cleaning ourself after playing at the beach.

We are a regular with Novotel Bali Benoa; Our 1st stayed experience was not pleasant but then Mr Poindl (who was the GM then) made a promise to have our next stay as wonderful experience and he did. That was in Dec 2012 and since then we had a stay in this resort every time we are in Bali. Our stay in this resort had been well taken care for by Ibu Ari (the HouseKeeping Mgr), who regularly approach us for small talk while at same time look into our needs. For this recent Stay, in Mar 2016, our stay had been very pleasant and it had helped us relaxed, take a step backwards from our hectic working life, and recuperate amidst a tranquil environment. The new renovation at the beach had been pleasantly done up and the serene & gentle sea water level now is calling my wife to want to come back again. Ibu Ari has always been pro-active and speak to my wife on any needs that she may have. That had made my wife happy & we look forward to our return trip in Sep or Dec this year.

This is the 6 th year we at novotel bali, always with the same pleasure
including for grandchildren who live a jakarta.

This was our 4th stay at this hotel. Usually their service is very good but we didn't get the same feeling this time, right from arriving in the foyer. Generally the grounds and rooms are tidy but perhaps looking a bit dated. Apart from breakfast the food was a very good price and very nice. I feel the hotel is being outdone by newer resorts and hotels. Special mention to "chechep" sorry if I got his name wrong but he was a shining light when we saw him in the breakfast area.

During booking process, Reservation sent me wrong confirmation letter so I pointed it out and she revised it straight away. However Receptionist charged me upon check in based on the previous confirmation letter. The system was not updated after RSV made new confirmation letter. So it was taking more than 30min to come to room even we have 1 kid & 1 baby… In restaurant on breakfast time, my hubby sat down with a baby and I came a while later. Nobody approached them at all then I looked for a baby chair by myself and brought it to the table. Right after I reached the table, Waitress came and said " kursi nya 1 aja, mau lagi? ". For who? I said "No thank you" then she had gone and nobody came to set up lunchon mat and cutlery until I asked. on Dinner time, there was buffet but no beverage at all in buffet so tried to order glasses of water but Waitress said "tidak ada, yang ada nya sparkling aja". You force babies to drink sparkling water? Just after checked in, towels are only for 3 pax so I asked to bring 5 sets more. But Housekeeing put only 3 sets only again on cleaning up service on the next day. My daughter bought an ice cream by the pool and asked spoon. Waitress said that " ada Garpu aja". How can we eat ice cream by fork? Waiter by pool told wrong opening hours of buffet for the night. Lucky I asked to Host so didn't miss it. Basically most of staffs has no attention or brain to anticipate guests needs.

It was wonderful staying at the hotel. Very good and polite staff. Rooms are great for couples, private beach is good. Highly recommended for a honeymoon…!

It's a nice hotel. It could be kept a lot cleaner though, especially in the restaurant which is regularly full of bugs like cockroaches and ants. Nice rooms on the beach side of the hotel. Mattresses are dated and hard in the rooms across the street. Also a worm in our food at the pool bar accross the street… can happen, but not combined with the other bugs in the restaurant… just more hygiene would do the trick ;) Friendly staff all over though! Update after a week: more cockroaches in the sugarpots of other guests, when asked for a clean place mat, the restaurant personnel just flips them over (I hear the roaches laughing in the ribbons of the table). It's a culture of hiding the problem instead of solving it for real. If nobody complains, no problem gets solved.

This place is amazing! The accommodation is beautiful, we stayed in a villa on the beach side of the resort and it was so quiet and spacious. We had our own little front garden, a deck with some deck chairs and an outdoor shower. Inside was a spacious room and a bathroom that was just as big as the bedroom with a comfy bathtub and other bathroom facilities. We had buffet breakfast every morning, the food was delicious and widely catered for. On my birthday they even brought me a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to me while I was eating my breakfast. There were several pools so there was always plenty of space for all the guests, and several places to eat and have some drinks. There is a spa on site and while it was a little more expensive than going to a place on the side of the road, it was still reasonably priced and very relaxing. The resort also has daily activities such as yoga and massage lessons, they have a timetable on every day. Also if you want to leave the resort and go to the nearby shopping centre there is a free bus that will pick you up outside the hotel. Neither me or my friend wanted to leave the resort during our stay there, it has everything you need to have a relaxing stay and if you're not concerned about the cost of the food purchased at the resort then you really don't have to leave at all.

Very good stay for our honeymoon the hotel is great and the staff very kind and friendly. The island is very interesting to visit. Great holiday.

I will be coming to your hotel January ending to spend my honey moon. But I feel quite disappointed from the below comments from other previous visitors. Finally, Please let me know if I already paid the cash booking, do I have to pay any further payments? Moreover, please advise me on how much US $ should I take in my consideration to spend for lunch and dinner and nearby outgoing per one Day? Very well run hotel. Nightly free performances (dance, music, etc. ). Rich breakfast buffet which is not selbtsverständlich. Everything clean and well kept. Due to pavement works, they can do anything. I will recommend this hotel.

Dear Madam/ Sir, It was a experience which has to be shared at top level management of your hotel because it was my worst experience at your hotel. I checked in your hotel at room nr 468 dated 10th Sept and what all I expected was the vice versa. I visit Bali Every Year and the day one at your hotel was 100% disappointment. 1) First Night I had dinner at your Hotel in Beach Restaurant and I was being asked to settle the Bill amount immediately and I asked the Restaurant manager to settle at my room account, He said no we cannot because you have not paid 1 million rupaih as deposit during check in and than I said not a problem send some one to my room after 30mins to collect hard cash, the reply I got from him was sorry I am sending the waiter along with your self and pay him right now. This is your hospitality and manners! 2) The day two I asked a transporter desk and asked for a Cab to visit Tanah Temple, the driver which was send with me and my wife was manner less and where ever I asked him to stop on the way he was asking my I ail charge you extra. The fee was already discussed before leaving the hotel and all the way he made faces or every time I asked him to stop he refused and said if you pay me extra I Will stop other wise NO! This was another experience! 3) The day three I asked your employee to warm up some food stuff for me and the food I got in my room was the same as pic attached in my mail which is self explanatory!

Perhaps the bigest disapointment I ever got from a hotel. I am the lucky guy receiving a room with a beautiful view to a wall. Natural light is scarce during the day. The scent of mold in the room and the traces of mold in the corners of bathroom contributes to my sensation of staying in a cave. It is my first time in this hotel, and certainly my last time as well.

Were on the beach and beach bar. Great place, graciously provided us chairs, good service at the bar.

Our 3rd visit since we had a kid, now 4 yrs old (we've been to other places in tj benoa before). The hotel is nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and sincere, they become our family since our first visit. Foods and other facilities are nice as well. The only thing that worry us is the beach, now it became shorter to the sea, compared to our last visir 20 monts ago. So, if you look a warm, nice and cozy hotel in this area, this could be the one.

Infrastructure at the top but too bunker and far from the beach.

Ali and I have been coming here every year since 1997 and absolutely love it! Our kids have also been some 12 times, and are desperate to return! The staff are always sooooo welcoming, they really look after us and keep the resort looking beautiful. It has the most traditional Balinese feel to it. And we'll keep coming back every year! We have JUST returned home again this morning, and once again thankyou to everyone at the Novotel Benoa! Sampai jumpa tahun depan.
