A nice hotel that is a bit old but the service is very good and the staff very friendly I can recommend to book level and all inclusive otherwise it will unfortunately be very expensive.

Highly recommend! Amazing place for family holidays. You don’t even need to leave the resort got absolutely everything you need. I can call this place a Paradise! ❤️

Best place ever. Great food, drinks and staff are wonderful.

Unfortunately the biggest regret of our holiday! Meliá is supposed to be a five star hotel, naturally you would have certain expectations. The entrance to hotel is beautiful, the staff are welcoming but unfortunately the 5 star aspect ends there. Once we arrived to our room we were underwhelmed! The rooms are tiny and have no luxury aspect. Our shower was built into the bath and when I stood in the bath my head would touch the plastic cladded ceiling and shower would only just reach my shoulder. I’m 6ft. Additionally the tiles had filler repairs all over them, hardly a pleasant or tranquil site. The bathroom and balcony door have all warped and won’t shut so you have to slam the door to close it (imagine the beauty of this sound with many rooms slamming away). There is more rooms than facilities, naturally very commercial but not desirable for a guest, hunt for a table for breakfast and ride the breakfast buffet motorway dodging guests and flying cutlery. Wi-Fi is useless in the rooms, we were on the fourth floor and the Wi-Fi dips in and out making it impossible to FaceTime family. Beds very firm and we failed to get the air con to move from 19 and enjoyed a screaming child through our holiday. But this down to preference and maybe my technical ability and matters outside the holidays control as the rooms are so close together. We contacted the staff about the problems hoping one room had a stand in shower and less repairs.

We had the most wonderful time at melia. Every single staff member was amazing and we could not fault anyone or anything.

A great stay, beautiful food and hospitality, very nice service, and we have become friends with staff member Syauqi, who was generous and helpful for us. We very much recommend this hotel to all people and make sure you meet the staff (including Syauqi! ) during your visit.

Wonderful resort … very nice and full of attractions for adults and children! However, I find the quality of the restaurant's food ratio disproportionate! The quality is nothing special and the prices are astronomical! they definitely need to improve 😜

This 5*-beach resort has everything: complementary watersports, table tennis, tennis, badminton. Spacious rooms and nice swimming pools.

Been staying here for over a week, and week to go. We loving it. Staffs are amazing. So much you can do, especially when you're a family. Love it!

Amazing family-focused resort with various facilities for kids, including large playground and evening bonfires for the kids and a perfect beach with low waves. Highly recommend it to anyone with small kids!

Just did 7 days on the all inclusive package. It was fantastic. Resort is clean, lots of activities, food was good and the food and drink choices on package was great. My only recommendation would be, the lunch and dinner menu at beachside restaurant need to be different. Can get a bit boring with same menu for lunch and dinner. Also beds were a bit hard. Would throughly recommend though, a beautiful place to stay, very safe and tranquil.

The staff are amazing, very helpful, friendly and couldn’t do enough. There were free activities set out every day, including yoga, fruit carving, bali dancing to say a few. The food was nice and there was 5 restaurant to choose from. The hotel is close to the airport, bali connection for shopping and on the beach.
The hotel caterers for all. Family friendly, couples (there is an adults only beach) and singles.
As all inclusive was a lovely surprise that it was still valid after checkout, and we could still utilise the facilities.

The most relaxing holiday. Beautiful people, beautiful staff. Amazing hotel and amenities. World class. Tears welled up when I realised we were leaving today. Such a piece of heaven to return to after a day out in busy Bali. The restaurants are lovely. The staff here are so welcoming. Everyone stops to say hello. The all inclusive package we found on scoopon was fantastic. I have a 4, 6 and 11 year old and they all loved it here not to mention mum and dad that could leave them at the big movie screen on the grass with the kids club and dine alone a couple of nights. Book, you won't regret it!

Avoid at all costs! Issues: — Food poisoning — campylobacter (confirmed by GP once back in UK). — Room not ready on check-in. — Deluxe garden view room booked but no garden view, it was of a building a couple meters away from our window. — Terrible service, unsympathetic, slow & rude. — Hair found in food on the first night. — Unable to book tables at hotel restaurants as these were fully booked, despite guest not showing up. — No turn-down service. — Uncoordinated ‘make up room team, ’ multiple people responsible for each individual task so you get constantly disturbed throughout the day & meant items were not always replaced, such as tea, bath mats, bathroom products etc. — One staff member impersonated the hotel manager when I requested to to speak to him. Once we returned to the UK we raised an official complaint & asked for this to be dealt with by the head office. This was ignored, we were stuck with the same incompetent & rude staff we had to deal with in Bali. Despite being signed off work & ruining our trip to Bali both emotionally & financially, no compensation was given & my complaint was dismissed. What make this even less understandable is how lovely, helpful, kind & generous the people of Bali are. But the staff at this hotel are not & our last few nights in Bali turned out to be a nightmare!

Very disappointed with the standard of the rooms. We were there 2 nights and had 3 rooms. The final room was a complementary upgrade to the lagoon deluxe which was nice but could have done without the stress of repacking twice and moving on such a short stay. The grounds were beautiful and food was very good if not a bit pricey. Small beach area and once the tide goes out not much sea swimming to be had. Pool not bad but quite crowded with kids and not enough sun lounger for the number of guests. Overall not what we expected from a 5 star hotel. Staff were more than willing to try and sort out the issues with a smile.

I'm very interesting restaurant on the beach, on the hotel grounds, "Sateria" where you can eat buffet, adult price tag-$27, children up to 5 free, 5-12 years $13.5, and to all prices of 21% state. Tax. You can also eat "a la carte", prices are moderate. I advise, evening, dinner, sea!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly, smiling, helpful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious and the king size bed, though a little harder than I'm used to, was very comfortable. The grounds, pools and gardens are all well maintained. No rubbish, no drunken behaviour. Everyone just totally relaxed. The food options are varied and delicious. We had the all inclusive package which meant you didnt have to worry about how much you were spending on drinks and food which helped in relaxing more. Cannot find fault with the staff or the resort. Will definitely be coming back. Was an amazing holiday.

We (2 adults and 2 kids) were at Melia for 14 days in a lagoon access suite with the all inclusive option. The stay was excellent — we switched room to 1114 for more sun and more shallow water for the kids. The food in the restaurants was very good, and having room service included was quite a luxury. The rooms are a bit dated, but overall the resort is kept in very good condition, and there's a lot of green areas which are quite lovely. All the staff was always smiling and helpful. This was our first time to Bali, but we'd definitely consider coming back.

This place is absolutely beautiful! Don't know how anyone could rate lower than 5 star! We are currently here on honeymoon and it is the most amazing place! Staff are amazing and so unbelievable friendly! Thank you :)

I think it's the best thing on the planet. All very friendly, kitchen by five points. What only costs round-the-clock room service. Alcohol is great. Freshi is great. The staff is really trying. Japanese restaurant, I think is the best in Bali. Of the disadvantages: there are personalities in the service staff who do not like Russians. We need to inform the administration and everything will change.

This is the best hotel I have ever lived in. Very polite staff, unreal tasty and varied cuisine. The rooms are clean, cozy, each with its own terrace. The air conditioning runs perfectly, so the pleasant coolness of the room is always handy. The hotel itself is large, each enclosure has convenient access to the pool. In addition, the beach and the lagoon. It's just a paradise of some unearthly! We were vacationing a huge company of 250 people. And the whole organization was at the highest level! It's a lifelong memory.

Fantastic facilities in a beautiful setting. The gardens are stunning and well kept at all times and the service is second to none. It also has a private beach and a fabulous pool. A good selection of restaurants and a spa that offers all kinds of treatments. I would recommend all inclusive as it offers the best value for money and if you really want to treat yourself, take a look at the villas!

The grounds are nice. The sea is shallow. Rooms are outdated but well kept. The food is not tasty and very very expensive (2 adults and 2 children spent 1 to 1.5 million rupees). Do not disdain to use in commercial products restaurant with a free Breakfast. +100$ per person per day for all inclusive too! Had a room with pool access, left the room satisfied. To live in a hotel, but to go there is better in Bali Kollekshen (5 minutes walk).

The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were with children of 8 and 4 years. Breakfast was good, but there is an upgrade-all inclusive more than 3 days-87 $ per adult.

Beautiful place supported by amazing staff and fantastic food. We stayed for our honeymoon and received a free room upgrade. The greeting to the hotel started with dancers, music and warming pleasant conversation. This level of service continued throughout our stay. Would stay again and would recommend to anyone.

Nice hotel, but I was expecting a little bit more from 5 stars hotel. The furniture seemed a little bit old may be, apart it was clean and the staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast was very good, except the pastry, rolls, non gluten bar. They were really not good.

A beautiful place to experience a dream time. We had a bungalow with private garden and pool. We could have breakfast on our terrace or in the restaurant. There are several large pools. The grounds are very spacious and well maintained. Absolute relaxation guaranteed.

We stayed here for our honeymoon unfortunately, we experienced horrible service, I waited for 30 minutes for a drink, also they didn't have coconut water for 2 days! It's an island how do you run out of coconuts? On another day my husband and I ordered lunch from the restaurant by the beach, his lunch was delivered and I had to wait 40 minutes for mine after his! I odered a sandwich. Also the room wasn't cleaned for days I asked 3 different people to come clean the room everyone said yes and no one came! And lastly when we checked out no one asked us how our stay was. I mean that's basic. We did the all inclusive, so lots of money. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Had a great 3 nights with my spouse and two kids here. We had booked a room on the new Laguna pool which wraps itself around two of the buildings — really nice to drop out of bed straight into the pool. And not as crowded as the big pool. We had the all inclusive package and I feel that it was definitely worth it for the period we were there. There is a wide selection of drinks and a whole lot of food choices. Wines were not included in the package which might seem strange at first but as they have to import all their wines, it makes sense. The Spanish restaurant did have a few good wines as part of the AI package so you can just eat there ;-) Staff was very friendly and the room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Only downside might be the scale of things. A lot of people in the pool, hard to get a bed and with an all-you-can-drink environment, you might get the odd drunk in the pool.

Beautiful hotel with moderately tasty food. The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices in the bar, the food on the pool and the beach are high and on departure is strongly felt (payment at departure). Not far from the airport. The exception of all positive emotions is the sea, very long and frequent ebb, so if bathing in the sea for you is important here it is possible to do not always because of the absence of it as it is, but to swim is not always feasible although the presence of the pool is much Compensates.

The hotel is very good, the staff is incredibly friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated, but you notice that the hotel is no longer the latest. The breakfast is outstanding, overall the resort is very good.

The grounds are very nice and both the beach and the pools are always very clean and not too crowded. The rooms are unfortunately a bit dated and partly not adequate for the price.
The staff is almost exclusively very friendly and helpful. Partly I felt the intrusiveness of the staff as unpleasant.
The location is very good. You can reach many good restaurants on foot. The price of food and drinks in the restaurants on the grounds are significantly more expensive, but still affordable.
The breakfast is outstanding, the selection is very good. It is worthwhile to eat earlier, as it is usually quite crowded.

Pleasant Stay pleasant hotel by its image and its staff super attentive and lovely thank Miss Charlotte and Mr. Sumatra for the attention dispensed great buffet of great thematic restaurants especially the Sorento for being Mediterranean food very well Definitely elaborated a stay to repeat again next year to be possible with our friends thanks Meliá Bali.

Spent 7 nights as a family with a 2 year old and had one of the most enjoyable holidays. Stayed at the family room and the lagoon access suite which were both good. Service, Staff, Rooms, Pool, Restaurants all top class! Plenty of daily activities as well. Highly recommended. Bonus the beds are super big and super comfy.

Every day is another superlative (or should that be expletive? ) issued in wonder at the extra ways they've thought of to add quality to my stay here.

5 star experience. Beautiful grounds, pool area is lovely. Buffet breakfast was amazing! Staff were helpful and beautiful natured. We would definitely stay again.

A very nice resort however quite expensive for Bali. Some small mishaps when we got there e. G. Our airport transfer didn't show up; they tried to charge us a lot more for our stay than the rate we were quoted; they left us in the lobby for ages waiting for our room. Despite this, overall a very good stay. My daughter loved the kid's club and the breakfast offering was great. The room was comfortable and the resort grounds are beautiful.

It is a spectacular hotel, their exteriors are beautiful, their restaurants are a delight (I especially enjoy the japanese) and the staff very attentive, friendly, and close. We were 6 days of honeymoon in a villa that I do not have words to describe how beautiful that was! Come back without thinking.

Different flowers in the pool every single day? Check. Staff remembering your favorite drink? Check. Coconuts with your name embedded in them? Check. A butler so discreet you just see her in the cookies and perfectly planned days she organizes? Check. My daughters spent days taking photographs on the many corners of the hotel, their beautifully kept grounds where frangipanes reign supreme and the pools, gardens and restaurants that while not new are kept impeccable by the most gracious staff! My only criticism is that they should stop the Firedancers on the show from spiting gasoline. While the show is impressive this act is bad for the dancers health. Keep the show, stop swilling gasoline. I spent 15 days in Bali and 5 days at the Meliá Bali, while the other days where spent at 2 different villas. My hotel stay was way superior! I will be back!

A great place for a family holiday. Sandy beach. There are no waves on the beach near the hotel, but if you surf, then 10 minutes on foot and the wave is yours) )

Amazing place! :) Wonderful room with garden and private swimming pool. Close to the sea. Many restaurants with delicious food. I love it!

The spa was great best, and the Buffet with great variety and abundance. However the room was quite small and with a strong smell to humidity. The employees are generally friendly and attentive especially in the restaurant the courtyard that is food type mediterranean, but some other employee of the swimming pool area leaves much to be desired, jokes and inappropriate without knowing, and besides that, people from outside, they ask you every day and every time q I see, to make trips, if I want something I will ask myself. Located in first line of beach but very touristy, let's say, very european. There is a shopping centre nearby and the waterfall otherwise, there is nothing more to see. I recommend that you buy your gifts before you get to this area, in Ubud, for example cheaper the same things.

We are just in melia, unfortunately it is quite rocked off. Charm of Bygone Times. The food and the beach are delightful, but the prices are almost european, 3, 5 to 4 times as expensive as outside the TOURIZONE. (pizza €12, Cocktails 6-9 €) Not the real bali, but tourists bling bling…
Stains on the towels, climate that is moderately good and simply not worth 5 stars. The music at the bar is great Though.
For $82 per person per day we could have booked all inclusive on Site. Would only be worthwhile if you do not leave the plant and drink only cocktails etc.
We split our vacation, and were simply shocked that 5 stars are so much worse than our previous 4 star hotel near Ubud.

Very nice hotel but a little too touristy to my taste very nice rooms. Nice pool (deserves to be more edg) good and bcp restoration of choice (but pay attention to the price) The deco of the hotel remains sublime.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful but a bit expensive, I know that it is a 5 star hotel but paying 40000 rupees for a coke is excessive. Place to go to be a millionaire, because you'll have access to exclusive villas and places only for people vip. Even with their bad things, we spent a few wonderful days. Special mention for the workers there, people lovable (as in the whole of the island of Bali) and of their indoor gardens, great place for relax taking a stroll.

Simply AMAZING hotel! Stayed in April 2017 as all inclusive guests. Could not fault the staff at all who go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Food and drinks all first class. How anyone can complain about the quality of food and service here is beyond me. Kids club was fantastic with all the girls so friendly and welcoming to the kids. Spa experiences were excellent. We can't wait to return!

One of the best places for families! The beach is safe, secluded & quiet, good for your lil ones. Food fantastic & lots of retaurants to choose from, activities & food all inclusive like a club med, oh did I mention a beautiful spa retreat for mums & dads too! Just a fantastic holiday destination!

Hotelana location very nice, lots of green lots of park! Service to date also very good! Until the evening when we were invited as friends to the Hotel. We had a drink together with them in the hotel and we wanted to say goodbye and they accompanied us to the hotel Exit. Arriving there (transportation Stand) we my after the price for the crossing to the 3km away hotel! 60K was told though no 20k were required in a blue bird taxi on the way! So went to reception and asked for a taxi, after a short moment was told sorry Blue Bird unreachable… (far and wide no taxi to see! ) … So on foot, the first Blue Bird went by…
So service = 0! Preferably — 5! Felt it was a abgekapertes game, because after we went away from the translocation station he took the phone in his hand and once is no blue bird to reach?. Ahja okay… I can fuck someone else… sorry does not go at all…

Stayed here two nights. Nice rooms fitting for the price paid. The hotel has 5 restauranta within the grounds so meals are always conveniently available! Prices are decent too. This resort is great for families and we noticed many were staying here. There are beach activities organised for the kids. Perhaps not the best resort for a romantic getaway but we liked it all the same.

Great resort on Nusa Dua beach. We took advantage of the beach, pool, sea restaurant and Spa. Very touristy compared to the indoor ones (Ubud and vicinity), but very nice.

The best place even in the paradise of Bali, with a beautiful garden, an excellent beach and pools, a relaxing spa, well educated staff full of hospitality and good restaurants. Close to the mall "Bali Collection" (5min walk without sécu problems even at night) where you can find many nice shops and restaurants too. Perfect!

Beautiful location mixed from a luxurious beach to the beautiful tropical greenery, located next to a big shopping complex. Rooms were neat, convenient and still had the beautiful Balinese style. Service was great, all staff were friendly. Had dinner at sakura, was the best sushi I've ever had.

Great hotel with fantastic Park to say the least, nice pool and nice beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything is spotless, there are no insects. Only flaw is that the rooms given the high humidity rate smell a bit closed.

Great facility! Nice clean rooms on the garden side! We stayed in low season, was not busy, very quiet! Great clean beach section… really like in paradise! We had half board in the evening, you could choose which of the 4 restaurants you would like to eat in the Evening. Highly recommended!

— Clean rooms + ordinary, daily room service What you need to know: anyone who becomes a "member" of the Meliá chain before booking the hotel has certain advantages (other couches, etc. ). If the hotel is booked, one is on site and is addressed to this membership, it is too late for this, as this is only valid at the next booking. It is possible that the hotel is not so crowded in the off-hours, but at the end of June (many English and chinese).
Ps: Check in is only possible after 3pm. This was kindly communicated to Us. Unfortunately we did not get to our room until 16:30 pm. We could not give reasons for This. We were asked for some further patience. (also not well resolved, for a 5 * hotel).

What a fantastic hotel, from the minute we got there we were treated like royalty. The place is truly amazing. The rooms themselves were to a high standard, we didn't have a basic room but the one up. Air con worked a treat and we needed it. Facilities were excellent, we only went for the breakfast only option but there is an option to upgrade to all inclusive. We worked this out to be very expensive, so we ate at the very local mall where we could get 2 courses and drinks for two for less than £25. Would highly recommend this resort.

The park is really beautiful, and the hotel is "feet in the water", but it is really huge and makes enough tourist factory…
The staff are very nice, many activities are offered.
The rooms are really not at the level of a 5 star: smell moisture, mattress BOF, general impression "old-fashioned". The bathroom is completely to redo (important, the ceiling is lower in the bathroom, so if you do + 1m90 there is a good chance that you do not stand up when you want to take a shower…)

Stunning gardens pristine beeches great food with a wide selection to choose from fresh food and alcohol to offer. And the staff can not do enough for you. We came with out 12 month old on an all inclusive and would definitely come back great place.

Nice grounds, pool, beach and staff. We had a wonderful time with our 3 children (5, 9 and 10) Although food was expensive by Bali standards — it was reasonable by international standards and crucially the quality was very good. We ate out at Bali Collection and Pirates Bay on some nights but this was just for variety and (even at the higher prices) the hotel compared well. The only negative was that our room was a little run down in terms of décor. However I still highly recommend and give 5 stars as our older style family room was very good value and I understand that many of the hotel rooms have been renovated.

Disappointed with my stay here. Pricey and staff weren't nearly as friendly as the other hotels I'd stayed in my villa. Ending my holiday of a lifetime with a bit of luxury and was actually very disappointed. Thankfully was only here for 3 nights.

I spent 7 days with the very friendly people who made my stay with my family a happy and relaxing one 15th jan to 22 jan 2015. I likes the staff at the Pool and specially the exercise team and the Pool staff Every staff from the room greetings and the Breakfast staff were like a family Please thank them all on my Family behalf. The Gardens was like So Romantic and well Kept I would like a map of Nusa Dua and specially whole Island the walking trail available for on a A4 paper plain Black and white from a Photo copy sheet for all Tourist who come to Melia` Kindly convey to the Bali Nusadua authorities for tourism that the GARDEN of PEACE has been Vandalizes specially the Monument and the Holy book enclosure I also wish to alert that the Blow-hole view point is extremely UNSAFE Please make a group of Lobby members of the Hotels on Nusadua who care to make Nusa Dua Great.

Great place to spend time with family, especially kids. Staff was very friendly. Food was great. Nice location. Rooms were clean and comfortable but now is the time for upgradation. Good value for money.

Wonderfull landscape in here, but it was very unpolite when the security ask to park at the gate for check in just because I riding a motorbike here, when I report to the front office they ask me to park at the visitor parking as normal, I has been greet by unprofessional way because the first impression is very important to 5 start hotel. At night I ask them to sent me a plate and fork and spoon but they charge me for US$3.

A good place, wonderful garden with swimming pool.

Rooms have an average fitout and slightly run down but are clean and well serviced. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food and drink is expensive on site but Bali Collection is a nearby mall with pretty much everything you need. Good clean pool and lots of activities.
