We had a wonderful time relaxing at Alila Ubud. The staff, environment and facilities were exactly what we needed after the hustle of Seminyak. We did a cooking class with the executive Chef that felt like a live foodie channel experience. A great way to end a vacation!

Amazing resort where you feel in the middle of the jungle yet it is ten minutes drive from Ubud. Really helpful staff, gorgeous pool and breezy wind make it a perfect destination for couples and families alike. Highly recommend!

I am staying at alila ubud at the moment, day3 the place is amazing, beyond expectations. The staff are so kind and friendly and the food and cocktails are delicious. On arrival I wasn’t happy with my room only because of the size, and was upgraded straight away. I’ve never been somewhere so perfect. Thank you and look forward to the rest of my stay! Also the spa treatments are really good and worth the money.

This would have to be my favourite accomodation in Bali. I loved it. Exceeded my expectations. It was a wonderful location in the rainforest, nice and quiet with wonderful, friendly staff willing to help 24/7 with anything and everything. Our room was a beautiful, stylish little villa with an outdoor shower and bath. Very modern and very clean. Food and cocktails at the resort were delicious as fresh! We booked in for a cooking class with the resort chef and that was an amazing experience conducted in their very own herb garden. They also had traditional Balinese events held at dinner time with dancing and Balinese specific food for that particular celebration. 10/10. Thanks again, Alila.

Alround amazing and relaxing and super friendly.

Absolute place to unwind, we had a truly fantastic experience in the middle of nature. Good, clean and airconditioned gym with sufficient equipment for a good work out session. Spa offers divers treatments, good quality. The pool, views and surroundings are great. Excellent food. Complements to the complete team who made our 'Winter' holiday a perfect one!

Lovely hotel. Staff attentive and friendly. Excellent customer service. The food here is superb and no buffet style service, (only on Bali night where it is a buffet but excellent quality! ). Amazing setting up on a hilltop and overlooking the forest canopy. The pool is wonderful and it’s just such a relaxing place. We were lucky to be there for film night outside over the pool, what great memories we have to take home with us.

Natural beauty at its best!
The magic of this hotel hits you as soon as you arrive! From the smiling helpful staff to the ambience of the forest surroundings. This hotel is well designed within its natural surroundings. Our room didn’t disappoint we stayed in deluxe room with outdoor bathroom and felt relaxed straight away. The pool is divine and dining at the hotel was perfect but I think the staff here make this place so enjoyable they were all wonderful!
Looking forward to our return.

Alila is a perfect romantic and quiet place to stay! It’s of course a high price to stay but the service worth it and with good value. It’s also a nice place to share drinks in front of the pool. Note: Alila is a bit far from ubud center, cab, shuttle or bike is mandatory and you’ll need around 25 minutes to get in the city.

Absolutely stunning resort — we stayed here on honeymoon from Scotland, and Alila is best described as paradise! The staff could not be any more welcoming, attentive or polite, absolutely perfect. The restaurants and bars serve incredible food and drinks, and the pool… The view is simply one of the best in Bali, with the infinity pool reaching out to the surrounding jungle. Definitely the highlight of our honeymoon, and only regret is not staying longer here!

This was the first stop for us in Bali on our Honeymoon. The hotel is truly one of a kind. With in the first few hours we were looking at flights to return next year. The staff are of the highest quality. You truely feel like you are in a mystical, peaceful, breath taking piece of the world with breath taking views all round, especially from the infinity pool. There is no way you can leave such a place and not feel like the most relaxed human in the world. Amazing place. The staff are just so welcoming and friendly and the food is amazing. For a luxury getaway I'd highly recommend it. Fairly close to Ubud as well which is pretty lovely if you want to get out.

What a great experience in the middle of the rice fields hid away from normal life! The food was excellent everyday. Breakfast is a different menu each morning. Chefs signature burger was to die for! Martin in the restaurant has helped us so much to enjoy a short but Rememberable stay here. The cooking class we had was one of the most engaging lessons I have ever had I am sure I will defiantly be trying these dishes when I get home! The whole experience at Alila is one that I will return for! Peace, beauty, nature and amazing food make Alila Ubud a top destination. I loved everything about this hotel. It was boutique without being too small and yet offers all the facilities and services that a large hotel would offer. The staff were friendly and would do anything they could to make your experience a good one! Highly recommendable.

For those who want to enjoy panorama and the silence of nature, I suggest this place. I stayed here for three days; enjoy it so much. The price for food etc is moderate for such a nice hotel like this. It's worthy for its class.

Unique place lost among rice paddies. Spacious and clean rooms, taking into account the surrounding surroundings. The staff is helpful, always willing to help. Also, there is always some activity organized in the hotel in case you don't want to go far. In general, highly recommended, without nigun doubt.

Lovely staff, great breakfast and an amazing infinity pool. Lots of gekos and insects though which is acceptable given that Alila is resting in the middle of the jungle. Overall the level of service and guest hospitality was exceptional and amazing.

Great hotel to unwind the business of the Ubud street. Outdoor shower is amazing. I enjoyed the bike ride by the hotel. The trip is pretty interesting except there is portion of the road that is on the main road which there is no bike lane. Pretty scary.

We will remember our trip to Alila Ubud for the rest of our lives! So many things were amazing at the resort. The breakfasts with jungle surround, the monkeys, the sounds, fantastic bar and restaurant. Rooms are what you would expect from a 5 star resort, outdoor shower and bath was a very nice feature. If I had to mention one thing to improve its that the pool could be heated as was cold in mornings.

A great location with excellent facilities and restaurants; but the best thing about Alila is the staff. They are a great team, genuinely enthusiastic, warm and friendly. It is especially telling that we have bumped into several staff — off duty — in Ubud and they say hello and ask if they can help with anything. I am so impressed by all the people working here and wish every business had such high morale in their team.

Spectacular hotel located 15 minutes from Ubud. Its immense infinity pool surrounded by wild vegetation will leave you speechless.

Stayed 4 nights in Deluxe room. Staff are exceptionally attentive and hospitable almost to a fault. The design and view of the resort are second to none. Food and drinks are top notch. Monkeys will visit to score afternoon tea which is entertaining. Some improvements needed to the rooms: bathroom ventilation is zero, beds aren't very comfy, and the ground floor rooms really accentuate the rain. Would stay again though, in a more expensive room.

New favourite hotel in the world. 5 star accommodation, views, service and food. We stayed at Alila Seminyak and Ubud and cannot fault either. Can't wait to return x.

Away from the hustle and bustle. This is recommended for families and romantic get aways. Set within the rain forest in Ubud it is absolutely breathtaking the scenery. Onsite restaurant is unbelievably high standards. Could not recommend more highly. Infinity pool overlooks the rain forest. Monkeys everywhere!

On Family holiday with my daughter; who has a severe nut allergy. Within the first 24 hrs in Bali, she had a terrible episode — which took 2 days to recover. Upon arrival at Alila she had another (to our dismay) … the staff went above and beyond to assist her recovery. Every staff member showed genuine concern. Providing transport to pick up medication and even the following day went out of the way to get her a topical cream; as her skin was still inflamed. The resort is a serene oasis, not far from downtown Ubud. Waking up to the sound of the jungle and the surprise monkey visits poolside were a real treat. We enjoyed our stay surrounded by nature.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been so far. The staff is incredible the food is great and the atmosphere is touching. The missing star is because we had a disappointing experience with a babysitter — which had no experience with kids — and one of the massages let me with finger nail scratches — which is complete unacceptable. Besides these Id easily recommend his to couples and family that are looking for a resort as close as you can get from nature.

A very nice hotel. The pool is uniquely located so you think you would be right in the Jungle. Facilities and rooms were very clean. Sometimes an animal crawls into the room, but that's part of it. There are also a lot of free-living monkeys running around Everywhere. The food was very good.

This is paradise in the jungle. The staff were all extremely helpful, chatty and helpful to help with questions. The food was amazing and I would recommend everyone checks out their spice market event for their buffet and dancing.

Breakfast and service outstanding. 20 min drive from Ubud away. Shuttlebus only 3x daily. Nice surrounding with lot of nature which try to visit rooms as well… frog, insects.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Realized that this is the place for those looking for tranquility and relaxation. No access to television… but hey, who needs TV when you can enjoy the view :-)

I stayed here for my sisters wedding over the weekend which was also held here — Alila Ubud is amazing. Thank you so much to all the beautiful staff that made it the most incredible night and a lovely breakfast for everyone overlooking the jungle the next morning. Nothing was ever too much trouble, the spa was incredible, food amazing, monkey's hilarious. Thank you again to all the staff!

We loved our time at The Alila. We came on our honeymoon and it was perfect. The staff were so friendly. Everything is made so easy, just perfect for a honeymoon.

The place is gorgeous, the views and scenery are to die for. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The location is secluded, about 20 mins in the car from Ubud central, costs about 80-150k Rupees. My only reservation is the food and drinks are on the expensive side, although the food is very nice! The breakfast is delicious and they have a nice variety.

Incredible place & people! We had a villa with 2 bedrooms and a private pool and it was an amazing time despite that was raining a lot. People very friendly and helpful. Food also amazing, local and international.

Staff are brilliant and very welcoming. The valley villas are amazing. Spacious, magnificent view and comfortable. Breakfast is superb with excellent choice and varies day to day. A little on the pricey side for the spa and restaurant but this is a fantastic location and top quality.

Beautiful hotel, we stayed in the pool Villa which was gorgeous, beautiful pond surrounding an outdoor bath which was very romantic. The villa was clean and had everything we could need. The restaurant and bar served good food, and the staff were friendly and polite. The bar did great cocktails and can do classes on how to make to if you wanted. The reception staff were great and helped us book different activities etc. We didn't go to the spa as we thought it was quite expensive but sure it would be just as lovely. The infinity pool is amazing and the views and scenery are unbelievable, I have never seen anything like it!
