Very friendly staff, clean, modern rooms. If you are going to have little animals in cages for the guests to admire you should change their water daily. BAWA needs to know.

Kind, honest and generous staff. Lovely location along with a fantastic sunrise sea facing view. Grounds are kept daily. Bungalow we stayed in was lovely and cleaned wonderfully daily. Bydecage restaurant serves great food with attentive staff. When the renovations are completed and Infinity pool reopened with new club, bungalows and amenities we will return next year. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet, the garden lush and beautiful; friendly and caring stuff and generally very pleasant atmosphere. Also a great spa; not the cheapest around but try massage with Niluh and you'll be coming back again. And again ;) Niluh, I miss you already!

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was 5 star and everything had been thought of. The pools were stunning and the pool bar was the best! So peaceful and relaxing and right on the beach. The best place to come relax for a few days and enjoy the beautiful facilities of this resort! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel located at the boulevard/beach of Sanur. Nice open grounds and beautiful villa's! Good food and entertainment during eveninghours. Only stayed for 3 nights with a hectic dayprogram, but still managed to find some relax time! Thank you Segara for being the awesome end of our memorable trip through Indonesia! We will come again!

Calm Hotel with good food, nice Pools and access to the beach and Promenade. The service is nice and helpful. But if you want to swim in the ocean you have to go there on the right times because of the tides.

Nice place, but not suitable for families with young kids. Could really use a designated pool for young children. My wife and I continuously felt unwelcome with our 3 young kids and it ruined our trip to be honest. Beautifully laid out resort. The staff are very well trained and friendly. Unfortunately for us, it was the other clientele that ruined it with the looks and stares when our 3 and 4 year old wanted to play. Very quiet place, with older European clientele.

Can I give this place six stars? This is honestly one of the best three the best resorts I’ve been to in the world. I can go on and on about how beautiful this property is, how luxurious the rooms are, and the hospitality all the staff shown, but it wouldn’t seem very specific. Instead, I’d like to write about how I made a mistake and thought my flight was day earlier and checked out a day before. When I came back, we shared a laugh and gave me the same room with the room all made. This place is amazing and will go out of their way to make you feel not at home, but paradise.

We stayed 2 weeks in Segara Village and I must honestly say: The disillusionment came after only 1 week: — (We were here with our 2 children. The atmosphere is quite noisy, the staff are partly overwhelmed and as a family hotel it is just too big. After the first week the hotel seemed to be almost fully booked and accordingly there was often no space at breakfast against 8/8:30 and you had to wait. It even happened to us once that the cutlery and the place sets were taken away from us in front of our noses, because the next guests came for breakfast. An absolute NoGo! The first week was even more relaxed, after which new guests arrived every day, which you clearly felt, which noticed the place on the beach, pool and at breakfast.
Room service was great and laundry service was great. The children's playground is already clearly in its year and is not well maintained. Which is a real shame if you're considered a family hotel … But this didn't take the fun away from our 2 children. The location of the hotel is great, especially the proximity to the beach!
But to recommend it is only maximum for 1 week!

Beautiful hotel complex, spacious and nicely landscaped parkland between the bungalows. The units are cozy and clean. The staff is courteous and extremely friendly. There are 3 nice pools in the complex, with enough space to relax. The beach, however, is unimpressive.

Hotel ist OK, first room with view against the wall, paid extra for a bungalow, but apperantly all are bungalows they said I'm arrival. Second room had a really smelly sink and a bit of dirty sheets. The attached restaurant has really small portions and wouldn't take it back even when disappointed about that, saying that the waiter would have to pay for it then. However, the location is good!

Huge hotel that bears its village name well! 2 very nice pools and direct access to the sea. The rooms are spacious, pretty and the bedding is fine. The staff are helpful. By cons attention to the side a little factory of this kind of hotel.
Food side on the other hand, it's a big flop! Prefer the restaurants that are along the beach, much better.

The whole of the hotel in is nice … comfortable bedrooms, spacious and pretty garden and full breakfast with a good menu if to bali again definitely stay in this hotel.

Attended the venue for my son's wedding. The staff were generally attentive throughout the day. The ceremony was excellent. However they tried to up the ceremony/reception price marginally 2 days before the wedding and notified that a "community event" nearby may impact the reception (fortunately it didn't). While up dancing later in the night staff removed a plastic sleeve from my table containing papers (speeches, etc) but also an envelope containing approximately 600, 000 Rp which had been collected from guests to contribute towards shuttle transport costs. The wedding cake topper was also lost by the venue. The overall day was excellent but these issues let them down.

Segara Village is a 5-hectare property with 117 bungalows and international facilities. It is currently managed the third generation of Mr. Kompiang’s growing family. Despite many modern touches to anticipate the needs of seasoned travelers, the hotel still manages to remain true to its Balinese roots.

The grounds are spacious and well maintained. Staff super nice. Food is very good. Especially the breakfast. Also fulfil extra wishes. Beach is very nice. Is also used on weekends by locals, who unfortunately leave their plastic bags at the end of the day. Around the pool facilities are many sunbeds. Water, tea, coffee and biscuits were available to us free of charge. The bungalows are very well equipped, clean and all have a small terrace. Got 6 bottles of water a day. Coffee is refilled daily. Towels are changed twice a day. People are also being contacted about whether everything is in order. Problems will be eliminated immediately. Allle staff are very helpful and cater to the needs of our guests.

Good resort. Location right near the beach. Breakfast a bit messy und even unhygienic. Not many places to sit during breakfast, often full. Swimming pools are nice, but also often full as only a limited amount of seats available (and people claim these early in the morning at 07:00 for the entire day).

Well designed more western than indonesian. A favorite spot for elderly grumpy and pampered people (march). Well manered staff and modern good maintained rooms. Food is excellent and you may order anywhere you like.

It was a very nice hotel. Room clean, resto at the top sincerely to advise absolutely do not hesitate.

Needs improvement, room cleanliness, toilet and shower glass walls not fixed well, not aligned with glass doors, bad maintenance, must make sure toilet shower and room clean all the time, not to be compromised! break fast menu, boring needs lots of improvement, every day same! Look into vege options too. Minor repair works has to be done for maintenance in rooms e. G. Change shower unit it's old very slippery tiles where bed located, becomes slippery when aircond is on, due to condensation. Windows to be checked, change locks on doors to card system for security. Exterior garden beautiful, needs improvement in maintaining this beautiful space. Nice rooms, might have to do some minor renovations and change of color for it to look and feel vibrant. Over all nice place for a holiday.

Nice hotel. However, service needs to be improved. Staff other than the bell boy/concierge were not courteous/polite.

We had a very relaxing honeymoon. We found the complementary cocktails had way too much sugar. Apart from that great service, food was good and very relaxing.

Very well maintained hotel, we were there at the year change 2017/2018 and had great weather, despite rainy season, daytime top and night rain… very friendly staff, great food, top modern rooms, very large facility and super fast on the beach. We enjoyed every day and didn't want to go away;) super time, very quiet and not too crowded. We would love to come back.

Were in October/november here so it was already a bit empty but this was not a disadvantage for us so we had even more rest. The proximity to the beach is not so beat the grounds are very lovingly laid out and the service is indescribable and I have been to other countries and hotels many Times. And if you want to get the right thing, you should book right Segara village 2 It is still an upgrade and one is in a separate even quieter area with bigger house and private Pool. Besides, There are tea & cocktails for free for 3 hours and one enjoys every day a special breakfast in the quiet area and not constant this buffet food! How to know it from other Hotels.
All in all it was a dream and we like to come back.

Ich kann nur sagen WOW. Bin total begeistert. Wir haben ei großes, modern eingerichtetes Zimmer mit großem Bett guter Dusche. Die Klimaanlage ist ausgezeichnet. Das ganze Resort ist sehr sauber und man ist bemüht diesen Standart auch zu halten. Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl. Kommen gerne wieder.

Fabulous place to spend the day. Staff were lovely. Food was fantastic. Environs were the absolute best. Spend at least 300 000 and be permitted to spend the day in luxury — food, music, daybeds and beach beds. We spent 2 full days here. Fantastic atmosphere and surrounds. On our final day, they allowed us to leave our luggage locked up (we had to check out of our villa at 12pm but our flights weren't 'til after 10pm), spend the day absorbing the last of the Bali sun and leave Bali rested and relaxed.

Amazing area, delicious food, incredibly friendly staff. Felt like royalty the entire time here and the entire facility is clean and kept tidy. Worth every penny.

The hotel is amazing; staff are particularly friendly, the room (deluxe) is well equipped and more deluxe than expected and food is truely delicious — plenty of local dishes to chose from as well as Japanese, Italian and more. There are regular themed evenings offering BBQ Seafood and live entertainment. The grounds are immaculately maintained with a choice of pools. There are 'chill out' areas to relax in away from it all and the beach is on the doorstep. There are lots of beach markets a short walk along the beach front selling a variety of clothes and souvenirs. 5-10 minutes walk and there's even more to chose from; restaurants, bars, convenience stores, spa's. Even a Starbucks and large McD's for those that are missing home (as crazy as that sounds).

Got a room upgrade because our room type was fully booked, so yay! Food is good and cocktails are good. It's got a few pools and the gardens are well decorated and maintained. Prices are higher than surrounding establishments but not extortionate. Recommended.

Very nice and authentic Bali hotel, rooms are very modern and have a comfortable bed (toppers are available if the matrass is too hard). We have stayed here in both a bungalow and deluxe room, go for the bungalow if you like some extra space. Beautiful garden with birds and squirrels. Sufficient amount of sun beds at both swimming pool and beach (beach is also cleaned by hotel staff). Staff is very friendly and can arrange everything, you can arrange tours via the hotel or just a driver for a day. Breakfast is really good! They also have a special cocktail party for repeater guests, which is really nice.

For my husband and I there is no better area and hotel to stay when in Bali than at the beautiful Sanur Beach at the stunning Segara Village Hotel. The Sanur area is central to everything! Close to all attractions, surrounded by great shopping, lovely clean beaches & streets. Quieter than Kuta and other areas Sanur is the perfect place to visit & relax. Segara Village Hotel is fabulous! Amazing manicured grounds, variety of rooms to choose from, 3 stunning pools plus awesome Spa/ Bar. The food is fantastic under the new leadership of Head Chef Alies. The staff are genuinely beautiful. Nothing is too much trouble, they make a point of remembering your name, greeting you always with a smile & a warm welcome saying " Welcome Home" and that is really how you are made to feel — that you are home. The magnificent clean Sanur Beach is right out the front (any closer & you would be in the water! ) We have been fortunate enough to see a number of weddings, parties, vow renewals at Segara which have all looked magical! Having stayed in a few other areas & hotels over the years nothing compares to Segara! 5 Star all the way for us. Most of the staff here very quickly become like close friends. They are thoughtful, considerate and nothing is ever too much trouble. You will soon come to think of them as your family away from family. The resort itself is wonderful. Lush tropical gardens throughout, swimming pools, extensive food and beverage options and excellent tours assistance and advice. To get the best value, ask about Village Two. It costs a little more, but offers a lot more! All these things are why I've stayed here four times: and will be back again. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you Nyoman, Kadek, Ketut, and all the others for making each trip to Bali a trip to remember.

This is the third time we have stayed ay Segara Village, we stay in village 2 which is a little more expensive but well woth it. We get our our private pool, which you share only with village 2 guests, private butler, free wine, beer and cocktail everyday for 2 hours, free great big all you can eat breakfast, and afternoon tea. But above all that the staff are so helpful and friendly, the service is second to none, nothing is to much trouble.
I broke my ankle when I was at the market the Segara staff were notified and came to me rescue, they went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. Organised Doctors, wheelchair, crutches, one of the staff Nyomin stayed up all night making me sandalwood oil for the pain.
I will be definitely be staying here again next time I visit Bali. Room Tip: Any bungalow room in Village 2 we like rooms 212, 213, 214, or 215. All ground floor and very close to the pool.

Absolutely Amazing! Myself and my husband stayed here for one week of our honeymoon. This hotel village has everything! Amazing food and music played everynight, Amazing Spa, Amazing staff! A dream trip. We miss it all! Xx.

Beautiful and peaceful complex with small apartments and class pools. Unfortunately, it is very windy and almost too cool for swimming at the pool in the dry season. The way of to delicious and inexpensive restaurants is short, just like the walk to the beach. We spent a beautiful holiday here.
